            I. DON'T. STEAL! Thistletorp pouts and crosses his arms in anger. Stuff just falls into my pockets. Or, I find things no one's using! Not my fault!! He sighs again and kicks a loose stone. Can you make someone invisible again? That was a good idea! They could sneak in and get in a good spot to help our friends escape. I can rescue their weapons while you make the distraction, Tania breaks our friends out, and the invisible people hurt the badguys.

Her question wasn't answered as to # of draconians
They saw about seven moving around the dragon square, two more guarding a bridge on the way, and the number of temporary lodgings in the square suggested a fair number more. Plus there's the dragon. :)

Caitlyn carefully backed away from the door. Gavin could tell she was very angry at the situation, and from the way she was tensing up she was likely to explode with little provocation. Caitlyn had always been a little highly strung although her ire was rarely directed at her friends. Although there had been occasions...
Taking a deep breath through her nose, Caitlyn forced herself to calm down and think, 'As much as I want to get my fists on these, I'm gonna need my lucerne hammer. Now where did lizzard-men put it I wonder? Probably close by, this camp isn't *that* big.'
Perception - where are the weapons, or anything else of interest: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Gazing outside, as if searching for something, Caitlyn folded her arms and remarked cheekily, "Alone at last eh Gavin? Just you and me, oh and the best part of a dozen lizard men. How romantic!"

Oh, my bad, i thought someone went invisible last time and that Jakun was the one that did it. maybe i'm making things up...
So the plan is we sneak in. I find the weapons while someone unlocks our friends and the others lay in wait to start fighting. Should we make a distraction for the dragon to follow so it doesn't come at us? It might be fun to fight a dragon, but kind of hard to do that and the lizard people, and save our friends.

Caitlyn cast about for her weapons, or anything else that might help. She caught the glint of metal on firelight in one of the huts not too far from the cage.
The guard missed, or didn't care about, Caitlyn's gaze. Speaking was another matter. He barked at her.
"Tutup bibir Anda!"
As he spoke, the other guard returned with a bronze lizard-man in tow. He grinned and spoke in strangely accented Abanasinian, "Have you seen the Blue Crystal Staff? Speak truth and it will go easier on you."

"I like that plan, but I wonder... You see..." she hesitates a moment, then resigns herself: "I've developed strange powers. One of them is to become invisible... Making sure I understand the plan. Tania and Thistletorp both go invisible and move in. She goes looking for weapons. He goes to spring Gavin and Caitlyn. Jakun flies above and makes some kind of distraction. Where are Mariel and Goldmoon in all of this?

Rescue Rangers
Tania and Thistletorp, both unseen, slip forward. They come in short order to the bridge where two green-brass lizardmen stand guard. Both make slight noises as they thread their way through some mud, but draw only incurious glances about and a brief, tired exchange.
"Anda mendengar sesuatu?"
"Mungkin burung mengambil kotoran."
"Anda mengambil kotoran."
"Dalam telur yang menetas Anda."
"Probably a bird taking a s@+@."
"You're taking a s~."
"In the egg that hatched you."
Undeterred, they proceeded. As they did, Jakun flew above the tree cover. Through it he saw the broken dome and the dragon rearing within, large enough to be a building itself and everything Thistletorp and Tania said it was. From his elevated angle he could also see a suspiciously orderly set of stretched tendons binding wings, neck, and head. The dragon, it seemed, was a contrivance of wicker and rope, draped in vines.
In the further distance the minotaur saw towers, a waterfall, and a much larger set of ruins on an island to the north.
Tania came up to the square and skirted about its edge. She slipped into the row of temporary structures, searching for weapons.
Thistletorp turned to his own task, freeing Gavin and Caitlyn. He saw from a fair distance that Caitlyn and one of the bronze lizard-men were speaking through the wooden bars.

Jakun is above the square. Thistletorp is a hundred feet or so from the cage. Tania is working her way through the huts and so forth. So far, everyone is undetected. Enjoy.

You may draw on inner reserves of energy to perform additional actions in a round.
Benefit: You may take an additional move or attack action, either before or after your regular actions. You may use Heroic Surge once per day based on your character level, but never more than once per round. 1st-4th level, once per day; 5th-8th level, twice per day; 9th-12th level, three times a day; 13th-16th level, four times a day; 17th-20th level, five times a day.

The Big Rescue, Surprise and Round 1
Jakun, high above, settled on the head of the wicker dragon and uttered the words of a spell. As he did, he noticed a collection of ropes and pulleys through the weave. It seemed that if he went inside, he might be able to make the dragon's wings and neck move. A large horn sat near where they came together.
Just as the lizards turned toward his voice, flame leaped from Jakun's hands. They struck one of the guards near the cage, leaving one of the brass-scales nearly slain. Undeterred by the development, the minotaur fetched his flint and steel.
Still hidden, Tania cast about for Caitlyn's and Gavin's weapons. In one lean-to, she found Gavin's greatsword propped up against a crate.
Thistletorp slipped up to the cage, opposite the lizardmen, and deftly opened the lock.
Round 1 begins here
The brass lizardmen shouted and looked into the sky, keeping their heads down as they rushed toward the bronze. The larger lizardman shouted at them:
"Dapatkan busur, Anda bodoh!"
