Hi all, some of you I haven't gamed with before, some I have - so for the benefit of all concerned, I'll give a bit of general info out.
* As I am in Australia, I am about 10 hours ahead of the majority of players, so we will be technically playing 'in the future'.
* As I am in Australia, a lot of the peak posting period is when I am in bed...
* This is fine, as I make sense of all the posts overnight and sort out my games over breakfast - and occasionally during lunch, and then again at night, and other random times. That said, I have some odd work patterns (one of those jobs) and this can be disrupted occasionally - like starting 1300 on one day and ending 1600 the next.
* As I post at least once a day, I hope you will too.
* If you can't post for a couple of days or there is a problem, a quick post works wonders. I am occasionally out bush (Crikey!) and there is usually no signal, but will warn you all out well before I do so.
* If you are MIA/AFK, you may or may not be botted along as appropriate, but this is made easier if you give us an idea of your likely plans (actions, spells, general 'vibe')
* Combats - I run the bad guys as a block. I'll keep you up to speed on who's turn it is and who can act. I'll take the actions IN THE ORDER POSTED (unless it really doesn't make sense)
* If I need something rolled (ie a save) please roll it in the next post as your FIRST roll.
* If you have any issues, feel something was missed or otherwise isn't right, a "Hey mate,..." works wonders. If it is a bit sticky then a PM is also good. Starfinder/Pathfinder is an evolving game, I don't pretend I know everything and am happy to be corrected :)
* My bias is in favour of the players, I want you guys to have a good time - and hopefully also a challenging and memorable one.
* I'm not OCD, but you'll notice I almost always post checks etc in alphabetical order unless the order of play requires them to be done otherwise (eg a Reflex Save, followed by a Fort Save).
*An example statline should probably look something like this:
Iseph | sp 24/24 | hp 28/28 | rp 6/6 | EAC 19 KAC 19 | fort +1 ref +8, will +4 | init +2 | Perc 9 (LL& Dark)/ Android ace pilot operative 4
* A character sheet should probably looks somewhat like this:
Sheet info exemplar. This was a copypasta from a pregen layout, probably too much info in the gear section, but as we are all n00bs, the more info the better I suppose. Or not. We will work it out.

Too late to hit Edit, sorry, and forgot:
- I will be slotting (I guess) the Promotional Record Keeper, which is my SFS Folio (tell me if you want me to send proof)
(I also could slot a PFS pin)

![]() |

Checking in. I'll post character info and get an IC post in the morning. I've got to be up in 8 hours for work and still have to get the little man bathed, brushed, and to bed.

Let's see here, I have applied two boons to Triskid:
Knights of Golarion Affiliation (Social Boon): +2 insight bonus on all skill checks to influence members of the Knights of Golarion. +1 morale bonus to attack and damage vs. evil dragons and evil outsiders.
Society Rebuilder (Slotless): Anytime you play in a scenario that grants additional Reputation with a faction that you do not possess the champion Faction boon for, you can cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet to earn that Faction boon without having to pay the requisite 2 Fame.

![]() |

Sorry, I only mentioned the "special" boon (based on my Folio).
The total list (in the character sheet) is:
Faction: Acquisitives Champion - (free at creation)
Personal: none
Promotional: Promotional Record Keeper - (SFS Player Character Folio) 1/session to either:
• reduce the Resolve Point cost of resting to regain Stamina by 1 (down to 0 RP), or
• reduce the DC of 1 starship combat check (including gunnery) by 4
Social: Faction’s Friend - (from 1-01) - 3/time use - can recoup Reputation even if Fame not earned
Starship: Hero of the Stars - (from 1-1 Quest) - 1/time use - if Hull Points drop to 0 regain some
Slotless: Starfinder Insignia - (from 1-1 Quest) - a hidden ‘common Mk I datapad’ (DC 20 to spot)
Marked Field Agent - (from 1-01) - Society Subdermal Graft (light & shows am SFS)
Star Sugar Heartlover - (from 1-01) - have Strawberry Machine Cake album

Hey guys, I'm very sorry for my absence... I'm working afternoon patrol this week and due to the unseasonal heat wave we have going on right now, work has been extremely busy. We are basically running from call to call and I barely had time to get that short post in. I'm not sure if tomorrow or Monday will be any better, but I will do my best to try to keep up with all my games.

![]() |

You in emergency services?
Yeah, I'm a Deputy Sheriff (AKA police officer, some slight differences, but generally same as a city police). Not sure if Australia has something similar.

Shifty |

Ahhh righty, no we only have State Police, and Fed Pol.
We do have Sheriffs, but they generally work as part of the Court system (security of the Courts, serving of writs and warrants on their behalf). Were coming into what looks like another unseasonably hot Summer, and in Australia that always turns into raging bushfires.

![]() |

Okay, so it seems like things have slowed down now that it's cooled down at little... Our normal temperatures this time of year at low 70's during the day and 40's to 50's at night. Today it was 93 with a heat index of 99 during the peak of the day and it's currently 75... in Fahrenheit of course (still don't know why America had to go with that over Celsius, oh well).
That is also part of the Sheriff's officer in America. If you're interested, Shifty... In America our states are broken down into counties and every county elects a new Sheriff every four years. The sheriff's office is in charge of running the county jail, handling the security for all County buildings and Court systems, and enforcing criminal and traffic law throughout the county area and responding to emergencies (typically only for the unincorporated areas between cities and towns). We also enforce any orders from our local judges to include warrants, mental commitments, civil orders, etc. So, while it's similar to what a city or state police would do, we also have quite a few additional responsibilities that our office is required to handle.

If you're interested, Shifty
I was interested in reading that precise description too!

Glad you enjoyed it, Pangea! Also, I concur about the role playing with this group. Very good characters all around. I'm still trying to figure out Myr'iad's personality more... the basic idea is that they go a little against the flow of the normal idea that a single android spirit inhabits the body for a period of time, but rather the body (or chassis as Myr refers to it), contains an innumerable amount of android souls and they are more of a collective that makes the whole. Hence why they refer to themselves in the plural and chose the name "Myriad" (had to spell it differently because the name was already taken). They do not have any gender inclinations and find the human obsession with trying to assign a certain sex to android chassis very strange and inefficient considering androids cannot reproduce the way organics due.
I think efficiency will become a big thing for Myr and they detest excessive noise and loud combats... much like the one we were just in, lol! Also, I think they find the concept of prejudism/bigotry/racism/etc. to be utterly illogical and counter-productive.
What do you all think? Any suggestions? Comments? Concerns?

FWIW, regarding armor having a built-in comm unit: page 430, according to Teh Googles.
I don't have my CRB in front of me now, but it's apparently in the Settings section, not Equipment.

![]() |

Sure enough:
Personal comm units are common, inexpensive devices that are capable of communicating with each other on a single planet or between ships orbiting a given world. Small enough to be carried in a pocket, they also come automatically integrated into all armor of 1st level or higher

To my respective GMs and/or players, I am posting this in all my games that I'm running or involved in. I was involved in a force on force incident today during work. I cannot go into details for obvious reasons, but suffice to say no one was seriously injured. I'll be very busy with paperwork for the foreseeable afternoon/evening. If I have time later this evening, I will attempt to get caught up with my games. Otherwise, look for me tomorrow!

![]() |

Glad you're okay, Myr.

![]() |

Boon Me!: 1d20 ⇒ 16 Normally a pretty good roll. Not this time.
Slide 2 info is correct for me.

Interesting idea, a little bit of a ghost in her own machine - perhaps the previous occupants of the chassis left bits or aspects of themselves behind - the palimpsest of past lives.
I meant to respond to this sooner, but things got a little crazy... I absolutely love this idea, Shifty. I was trying to come up a good explanation for why Myr might feel the way they do and this fits the concept perfectly.
Also, I'm trying to recall if there's been anything published on how long an android body remains viable?
