When a mysterious visitor comes to Absalom Station selling items belonging to a lost Starfinder, the Starfinder Society takes note. The PCs are dispatched to discover out how the recent arrival found these items, leading them on a series of quests beyond the Pact Worlds and into the stars.

"Into the Unknown" includes five, 1-hour adventures that take the PCs from exploring Absalom Station, to partaking in starship combat, to exploring an alien world. The fifth adventure in the series provides a stunning conclusion that takes the PC's previous accomplishments into account for a climactic final showdown against an enemy starship.

Hi all;

Now that I have a couple of PbP games under my belt, I figured I should return the favour and run a game to play.

Check in below and claim a Level 1 pregenerated Starfinder character from this file.

Using the pregens will get the game started quicker, and when we get to the second Quest, you guys can sub in a PC of your own design (if you wish). I'll leave recruitment open until we have a full table or Monday morning rolls around, whichever comes first. I'm okay with trying a table of 4 out, having played through the first quest with six was a bit of a slog.

If we're later able to change or PCs to our own, I can have whichever one no one likes (I intend to play an operative later on, so either I can test the pregen one or I can test another one just to try different ones).

Awesome! Shooting for a Monday start was probably a little overconfident on my part, so we'll just wait for when we have our other three PCs, then it's off to the races. :)

I'd be interested in playing Altronus, the kasatha scholar solarian.

I'd like to join if able. The Quest are repeatable correct? I'll be playing my Vesk H.W. soldier if that's alright once we can use normal characters. He's got a game under his belt, I just need to transfer his stats onto the site. As for the pregens I'll use the soldier(similar build and less of a random sudden morph to something else, unless someone else really wants to use it.

Into the Unknown has the repeatable tag, so you can run it again and receive the chronicle sheet, but it can only be applied to a character once (ie. If you've already run through it as your HW Vesk Soldier, you could use the chronicle sheet earned in this session for a new character).

No, we did a different one at our local Society game, the name escapes me and the GM hasn't applied it but it wasn't the quest.

Absolutely! That makes our four player minimum to run a SFS-legal table, so I'll get to preparing the gameplay thread later tonight (~10 hours from the time of this post).

Awesome. 2 hours to go, perhaps we'll get a sixth. Once everyone confirms that they are good to go, we can embark on the first quest.

@Jereru: You don't have to have an SFS-legal character right this instant, but if you're looking to eventually play one (ie. when it comes time for the second quest), have one ready to go, and you can use the credits from playing the pregen towards your Level 1 SFS PC.

I am similarly ready to go. Is there a way to impersonate the iconic? I have my SFS character already set up, but I was curious about that.

Alright, everyone - gameplay thread is up. If you wish to make an alias for your pregen character, you can do so (they don't have any Starfinder avatars up at the moment, so it's kind of hard), otherwise just begin every post you make in the gameplay thread with the name of your character using the "bigger" and "ooc" tags.

They really do need to add some Starfinder avatars. Hopefully soon.

I think that there are Androids but nothing else.
