Aramil Cleric of Ollandra
|
Just a fore warning, I will be taking some vacation time and will not have internet access from Tuesday evening until Sunday. Feel free to bot me as necessary. I will try to get on when I can though unlikely.
Vajra
I've been here the whole time, but have seen nothing that would require me to alter my bot command of "walks in front with Kirren". We've just been walking and exploring and those two seem to be enjoying it, so I've been waiting for combat or roleplaying to come up as exploring isn't really my favorite part by any means.
As for climbing, using my temp HP maneuver, I can try as many times as I like and I'll never take damage, so, unless there's a time constraint or taking 20 wouldn't pass, I didn't feel it was important.

Alright, I'm still coming up with something for background, but Ralph Skull Carver, Goliath Barbarian, is reporting for duty. I do have a question, though. Aramil, are you using the standard Aasimar, or some LA +0 variant? It doesn't matter too terribly much to me, I'm just curious. I'm LA +1, myself, so I'm starting at level 1, unless DM Darkwalker would like me to do something otherwise.

I don't know the DM has not addressed that subject. I have the stats of a normal 3.5 Aasimar, though being a cleric in the mournland I am pretty useless. So I have +1 LA.
Ralph Skull Carver
Ah, alrighty. I was just curious, seeing the Elf, Kalashtar, and Changeling alongside you.
A cleric in the Mournland is still far from useless, by the way. So you can't use Conjuration[Healing] Spells. That still leaves the majority of the spell list open for use, which is both considerable, and pretty strong.

True, but I am a 2nd level cleric and really don't have much to play with but command right now. Yes I could boost my fellow members. Just waiting for the DM to pick up the pace, three posts a week is killing me.
Ralph Skull Carver
Ah, I feel you there. I've got an Archivist in another game, level 2, and I've got a few spells, but nothing terribly fun to play with. Not to mention the exorbitant cost for inscribing spells to spellbooks. But that's another issue. Right now, I'm sticking mostly to buffing others.

Ralph You search for magical and non magical items and sell them in the Black Pits black-market. While seeking goods in the cave, you notice the two warforged and the goblins rush in with a bound elf girl. You hide not to be seen, behind a stalgtite. Shortly afterwards you see a group following the warforged. You follow and enter a cavern with 20ft. out cropping in height. your level is fine your a half step under the rest.

Apparently I posted in the wrong spot. Hmm..

That should be the important stuff to start with.

Oh, neat. Good to be working with you, David.
I see that you've still got a Pathfinder character sheet, though, and your ability scores aren't according to the original recruitment thread. The scores allotted were 18,16,16,15,14,13, and there are a few key differences between 3.5, including, but not limited to, HP totals and Skills.

Apologies on that mistake, I just leveled him without realizing the stat differences, seems I'll be getting an upgrade :)
I got permission to use Soulknife from PF, so unless he rules otherwise I'll stay with that sheet. Give me oh 5 minutes (Maybe) for my update.
Ralph Skull Carver
The difference between Soulknife from 3.5 and PF doesn't really show up on a Character sheet. You're typing in the information, in any case, so it doesn't matter whether the class has this hit die or that. It's not too big a deal, other than the consolidation of the Perception skills into Perception, the stealth/trapmonkey skills into Stealth and Disable Device, and the lack of CMB/CMD in 3.5.
Ralph Skull Carver
We apparently work together, selling both mundane and magical items to a black market of sorts.
Edit: And the only issue I had, really, was the skills. Nothing else would change, apart from not using the CMB/CMD values. But regarding skills, as far as I know the rest of the party is build using 3.5 skills, though I may be wrong.
Ralph Skull Carver
DM Darkwalker, if we're going to be using Pathfinder skills, then I believe I, and a few others, might have some revisions to make, myself regarding Acrobatics specifically, while others may or may not have points to spend from multiple perception skills.
Also, Laine Tamesis, if you are still in-game, Kalashtar give an extra power point per HD, not just an extra power point.

PF characters don't get skillsX4 at first level so spending skill points to compensate don't quite work the same. I don't mean to open a can of worms here. :(
PF Makes skill point buying more efficient, but you get less points to spend, you get Class Skill bonuses for any ranks you buy into a class skill (+3), Cross-class are handled differently, beyond that I don't know.
