Lessah here! Realized it *might* improve my chances if I posted the rough draft I have of my character. Maybe. So I'm doing that now :P

Alright, pretty sure I put in all the necessary numbers and equipment on Vallen, and may or may not have done the math right. I'm not good at math, so I'm probably wrong somewhere. If someone can double-check me, I'd appreciate it.

Just giving it a quick glance, I don't see anything all that expensive - you're probably close enough.

alright guys I'll be looking over submissions this weekend and sending a few PM's. Might take a bit as I've been battling some night shift insomnia lately, but We'll get moving. No new subs from this point, but anyone that needs to make last minute tweaks can probably get away with it. I'll be in touch.

Best of luck to everyone.

Sorry about this. I'd actually had most of Belinda's story written out for a while now, but I kept wanting to make last minute changes or putting it off. I was hoping to have more written, but this should hopefully be enough!

Backstory:

Before the coming of the mysterious yordle hero and her absurdly large hammer, the outskirts of Demacia were regularly plagued by bands of brigands and other awful threats. One such group terrorizing the peasantry were the Manticores; not any sort of monsters, but a gang of ruffians in leather coats riding two-wheeled hextech devices called “hexcycles”. Time after time, they rode into town, took anything they wanted, and fled faster than anyone could give chase. Of course, we all know what happened to them by now. It was the same thing that happened to every bandit gang in the land. Most of them lived in the end, but some were left crippled, and nearly all of them would never ride their filth-spewing mechanical steeds ever again.

If any of them were to ride again, though, it would be Belinda. A yordle woman, just like the hero had been, and perhaps that had something to do with the mercy she showed her. The truth, though, is simple. The Keeper saw compassion in her eyes, and considered, perhaps, that this one could be redeemed. And in time, she was. She took everything she had left, and left for the city to learn an honest trade as a healer.

She spent the next few years learning the basics of alchemy, first aid, and the inner workings of human and yordle bodies from a master healer who had once served the royal family. In time, she became a fully certified healer, and served her community in a meaningful way, finding so much more fulfillment than she had ever had in her days as an outlaw.

There would come a day, though, that she would dig out her old hexcycle and fix it up. In the old days, she had made a custom job of it, with a head like a mechanical wolf, and named it Rover. Rover had been damaged quite a bit, and Belinda was uncertain if he would ever run again. But over the years, she spent much of her free time repairing him, and one day, at long last, she heard her old friend’s engine hum once more. The two of them had plenty of adventures ahead of them, it seemed...

** spoiler omitted **...

I would love for Coco to have a hexcycle as well. If we both get in that would a great project for our characters.

The Hexcycle is actually a class feature from one of Belinda's archetypes, but since hers is meant to be a custom job, you could probably negotiate a price for a generic one as a magic item.

Bummer and cool at the same time

Btw what archetype is that?

Construct Rider. Mechanically, Rover is an animal companion with the construct type, but the fluff is altered.

thanks, I don't think that is PFS approved, but in any event, I love the concept and considering the tech variance in league of legends I don't see why sometime in the future Coco couldn't get something similar.

Still working on it guys, the holiday weekend has made getting replies a little slow, but I'll have the group picked soon. You have only yourselves to blame for making such great submissions!

Its ok, take your time.

Best of luck everyone~

Scarab Sages

Indeed. Good luck all!

Good luck to those brave souls competing for Yordle spots.

I'm proud of Dellan, and feel really good about her being picked Even if she doesn't, Hopkins will be just as fun.

I did not submit a Yordle but where are the race stats for them?

I think they were posted in the Interest Check thread.

If I think a draft was proposed but I don't remember seeing a final draft

Contributor

I believe this post was the last one posted, unless I missed one that followed.

Oh yeah sorry about that. I'm certain none of them will be too far off once they see the final draft. I also recently read that Yordles are indeed Fey. Interesting... anyway, I'm almost ready to post the list, I just got distracted in my mad dash to get my taxes done today... orz

I'm excited to see the list! Good luck to all!

Yeah, I did just about the same thing. Getting ready to mail them out, heading out the door, only to see the mail truck driving off. At least there's a public mailbox for pickup near my house, so that wasn't the worst thing to happen.

Yeah tax is serious business. Though Yordles > taxes :P

ARGH THIS IS DIFFICULT. I hate taking a party of six but I'm tempted.

You should totally take more people! More people in the party means more lives that I can save! More chances for good deeds is more chances for fun!

Well league is ten people playing so clearly that's the correct number right?^^

But then ... hexakill was sorta cool too ... :P

On the one hand, most of the time you lose 1-2 players due to attrition in the first month. On the other hand, if by some 10-20% chance you don't, you're stuck with too large a group.

The applications were amazing to say the least, and it was difficult to the extreme to choose. However I have decided to go with these. I hope none of the rest of you bear any ill feelings and I hope to see you in my next recruitment.

Coco Liqueur - Edward Sobel
Twang - Choon
Rei - Ginganinja
Belinda - Newbonomicon
AND...
Ayva - Michelle A. J.

See you five in the discussion thread.
The rest of you, if we have dropouts I'll pm you first! The subs were too good to forget!

Have fun you guys! Good luck.

Dammit, I was REALLY hoping I could get in! Man, this sucks...like, really about to ruin my day kind of suck.

Oh, well, have fun to the five that did get in.

Cool! We've got an interesting mix of characters here.

My condolences to those who weren't chosen!

Congratulations and have fun. Remember to hold the yordle banner high! :)
