Initiative!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Xai is snapped to attention by the sudden whooshing of arrows and squeals in the dark. She snatches a javelin from her back and lets it fly in the direction of the approaching noise.
Javazon: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 LOL... amusingly, in one of my other PbP games I've hit like six nat 20s out of two very short battles. With a rogue.
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Miss Chance?: 1d100 ⇒ 33
Aura Woof-Woof

Aura, feeling the sudden surge of power tingling in her jaws, now smells blood. She looks in the direction that Eagle is pointing and charges the bushes that she heard the squeals come from.

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 19
I don't think that miss chance matters, but I'll roll it just in case.
Yngwie Pitborn
Disc Golf!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
nevermind: 1d803 ⇒ 272
Yngwie pulls out the shiny new blade he had acquired and hurled it at the thing. It became apparent that he had not used them before.
Wivvy
Aura's ferocity was enough to bring the beast down and silence its squealing. After a moment, Foxglove laughs. "Well there's our b-" before he could finish a sharp squeal came from behind him and his horse took off running. Aldern's head cracked against a low hanging limb and fell to the ground. He now lays there motionless. As soon as the horse ran off, three dark figures appear 30 ft. down the road.
Initiative time! Also ride checks (DC 5) as your horses rear up. And the three dark figures are boar shaped.
Yngwie Pitborn
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Yngwie lets his horse throw him, eager to get into a fighting position from which he breaks into a sprint and rushes the beasties!

Ride: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Xai's horse rears up, but she manages to hang on to the reins. Seeing that Foxglove has managed to get himself knocked out cold, she hops off and rushes to protect him from the dark shapes. "I knew this hunt was a silly idea," she mutters. "Male bonding rituals... these always get totally out of hand! Next thing you know, one of us is going to wake up with a tattoo and a wig..."
Going on the defensive in front of Foxy. No roll, so I can't mess that up, right?

Eagle jumps off of his horse, sliding down the beast's back landing nimbly and rolling up on a knee to take a shot.

Also, sorry about Eagle's weird rolls, I was in a hurry. But that first roll should just be +1 so the total on the crit should be 15.

With one hand on his ranseur, and another on the reigns, Julen is distracted managing his horse at first. (If possible, he tries for a better glance at his targets.)
Once she is under control, he whips the reigns and charges at the new opponents.

"Ho, Now This is interesting! Now we each get one of the things!"

1)Eagle, Yngwie, Xai
2)Boars
3)Julen, Aura.
Eagles and Yngwie's horse bolt in the other direction as they become unmounted, nut the stops 40ft. down the road, neighing an stomping restlessly.
Julen leaves a nasty gash on the side of the boar.
Round 1 has begun!

Two boars remaining, right?
Xai grabs her second javelin and mutters a prayer to the forces of karma for guidance. She delves deep into her memories for her training in ranged weaponry many lifetimes ago, and focuses on those images in order to empower her next throw. With any luck, her aim will be true...
Using Martial Maneuvers (move action) to gain Point Blank Shot for 1 minute. 3/4 uses of MM remaining for the day after this. Other action is to draw me javvy since it's still on my back at the moment. I'll give it a toss soon as the next round starts.

Geez you guys are hard to kill. So far the only thing that's done any damage was a level 5 skeleton champion and it still almost died! Looks like I'm going to have to step up my game. 600 xp a piece.
As the last boar dies, the sound of hooves echoes throughout the forest. A beautiful elven woman appears with her bow drawn. "Nice One!" she says smiling as she comes to a stop.
EDIT: To be clear, you only heard the sound of one horse.

The roaring pain in his gut was lost in the deep within Eagle's mind as it was engulfed in his new wondrous preoccupation. His eyes grew wide, and he lost his breath. He was mistified at the sight of her. He notches other arrow, and shoots it into the head of the dead boar in front of him.
"When I kill em, they're dead!" He subsequently smacks himself in the forehead.
Be cool,be chill, be cool, c'mon Eagle, you get women all the time right? MAN she's pretty!
He thinks of something smooth to say, but gets distracted by her eyes, and slightly below them, and shouts "EAGLE! Er... My name, is Eagle.
He does what he can to salvage the situation with a winning smile.

*snap* Julen clicks his fingers together to get Eagle's attention as he dismounts.
"It is the cause, it is the cause, my soul! Stop your writhing lest out quick your blood flow, still too freely from your eager open veins and bring upon the rest of us some pains!"
He tosses aside his weapon and tries to take a look at Eagle's wounds.

Yeah, from experience, Carrion Crown is INSANELY fun partially because half the encounters are designed to kill at least one of you if the dice so deign. Albeit with those rolls, Xai would likely be a smear on the walls of Harrowstone :/
Is she my type? (>5): 1d10 ⇒ 2 lolnope
Yngwie wrenches his claymore from the boar, holding it between himself and the woman until she puts away the bow. "Easy Lass, slipping up on a man after a fight like that could have ill effects on yer health."
Moonlight y/n: 1d2 ⇒ 2
The Skald takes care that he doesn't inadvertently step into the moonlight and reveal his less than human nature.

Eagle hisses rather loudly, "Yngwie! You're upsetting our guest!" He says, knowing good and well his party did not own the forest, and was more likely her guest instead.
"Ah, relax! No need to worry, I'd be happy for you to slip up on me! Er- I mean, the party... that is. And not like that! Hm, that came out better in my head." Eagle scratches his head, he DESPERATELY needs alcohol.
Hehe, much obliged Xai. Let's hope this isn't any indication of what I'm actually like with women. :P

The puts her hand overheard mouth and giggles. "Nice to meet you Eagle, I'm Shalelu by the way." Then she raises her eyebrow at Yngwie jokingly and says "It looks to me like the only possible detriment to my health here is that boar. And that's just if I eat too much of him. "

"Hello, then, friend Shalelu! And what were you doing out here? We were hunting boars, obviously." A thought comes to her then, and she adds: "You wouldn't happen to have bumped into a shady character with a penchant for summoning skeletons, would you? Because said fellow gave us quite the scare earlier."

Whilst treating his horse to a sugar cube, he says "I should think that if she did know the cad, would I share mine own knowledge to be had. A familiar face, but a stranger. A figure unknown to me, sadly."
Xai Bailong
"Yes. It was rather... traumatizing?" She glances around to gauge the reactions of her fellows and quietly mumbles: "Traumatizing...? Maybe... poor word choice..."
Xai looks Shalelu over appraisingly, distracting herself from her lingering combat-related issues by wondering if she could beat the elf in an arm wrestling contest. It's an old habit from some previous lifetime.

survival: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5

Eagle is starting to regain his wits. He feels his mind slipping back into its usual savvy self.
Greatly relieved to have survived his momentary lapse of all reason, he says to the elf, "Ah, what makes you think you get any, love? By my count, there are four boars, and four hungry hunters! Doesn't look like we have enough to go around!" He winks, "We did run into a nasty bunch of bones earlier, and we did see a particular fellow in their midst. Strange company for any man, I'm sure you'd know him if you saw him. Trouble seems to follow." He acknowledge the surprise boars and the wounds of the party.

There was a stallion once. It made me look quite the dunce. You wouldn't like to see any of the old stunts, too painful, really."

Shalelu laughs, "Fine, you can have all the boar you want, but my friend at the Rusty Dragon will pay you well for those boars. On that note, did I hear you fellas say you were going to Sandpoint? Because I need to be headed that way anyway. Are you headed that way now?"
When Foxglove wakes up, he shoots straight up. "Don't worry lads I've got this!" he shouts at the trees. Then he falls back down and moans, "Uhhhhhhn waiter can I get a cup of coffee to go?"

Seeing that Foxglove seems to have come to, Xai pats him on the head. "Well done, friend Foxglove. Let's get you home and tuck you into bed before you hurt yourself again, shall we?"
Home with us, then?
