Getting ahead of ourselves are we? lol
I've only ever seen leadership not be used to cheeseball effect in Kingmaker, where they just had the followers build a keep and man it while the PC did their adventuring.

I'm laughing that I told everyone Bless would be coming out, and no one delayed to get the buff, even though it would have no impact on when you went in relation to the gobbos.

long term I'd like to see a merc company with regular payouts... but given at the moment we're a bunch of drunk murder hobos who met up a couple of hours ago I suggest anything from this fight get sold and the proceeds split *unless* there's reason to form a company immediately after.
Why form a company with Loupe?
Loupe's advantages is he can (A) sell stuff for 60% instead of 50%, which is 120% more profit on non-coinage loot (B) can repair and craft items (including, eventually, magic items).
Also he blows stuff up, but I suspect that in this group that may make him more a liability than an asset ;P

I think it'll be more believable to form something akin to a merc company later on; the characters have just met and have little reason to trust each other, especially considering the differing personalities and backgrounds. Karl sees the benefits from being around Loupe, an overeager craftsman who does not have a lot of customers and who will gladly accept work and finish it promptly(no offense ;]), but he still sees no reason to team up with any of the others(the thought have not even crossed his mind yet), so yes I agree that from this fight taking everything and selling it would be more believable as far as rp goes.
After this event, our adventurers will most likely be stuck together, so it will be more believable for them to divvy up the loot in alternative ways.

Too bad I can't carry this luck into my other games, I went 1 for 6 in a fight on my Monk. Couldn't hit AC 15 for anything. One attack I even had a +11, and rolled a 2.

If you are able to take only a standard action on your turn, you can still charge, but you are only allowed to move up to your speed (instead of up to double your speed) and you cannot draw a weapon unless you possess the Quick Draw feat. You can't use this option unless you are restricted to taking only a standard action on your turn.

Ahh, I knew there was something about charging in the surprise round. Thanks. Good thing I had my glaive already out, lol.

Okay Red and Sten are up next and then its the gobbos and finally Zander...I am guessing some gobbos will survive till the next round, but after that it should be over.
I just realized something if Red's Attack of Opportunity took out the goblin before Karl charged...that means Karl was aiming to kill the dog?! Never knew it was possible to make my character even meaner than he was already.

hehe, I actually aimed for the Goblin dog on my first attack, so no worries there. Also, goblin dogs are actually more like big rat things, not fluffy puppies oozing love...

True enough. Somehow feels like a real fight. A lot of flailing around till finally someone gets a solid hit and takes someone else out.

All this confusion is part of why I prefer lumped block format, PCs>Monsters>PCs>Monsters. With the number of reach party members, it may be easier for bigbusman to just run the AoO's for us, rather than splitting up his actions waiting for us to roll the virtual dice.

Hey guys, I’ve realized I’m doing a lot of posts trying to correct things, and I’m sorry. I’m an experienced player/GM that usually runs with a lot of inexperienced players, so it’s second nature for me to point out buffs they missed or AoO’s that could have happened. However, I realized that could get quite annoying in a PbP setting were my tone and normal table chat is lost. If you guys want I’ll button it, and let BBM handle things under the GM prerogative rule, and stop cluttering the gameplay thread with OOC corrections.
