LOL, completely understandable, I shall do my best to learn from your example.

@BigBusMan Should I assume the Leadership Feat is banned? :]

Getting ahead of ourselves are we? lol

I've only ever seen leadership not be used to cheeseball effect in Kingmaker, where they just had the followers build a keep and man it while the PC did their adventuring.

LOL, well someone had to ask, right?

I would prefer not to have you take the leadership feat..=}

Message received loud and clear, captain! *Salutes*

now that the site seems to be acting better..maybe i can get some stuff posted..been running slooowwww..all day..

Seems that the site has mostly stabilized, hopefully this state of affairs will last.

yes, i have noticed..thank god..I have some stuff i need to take care of around the house, but before I go to bed i will start the combat off with the goblins

Wow talk about bad rolls, if we were a sports team our coach(BigBusMan) would have some choice words for us in the locker room, lol. Except for Sten he's the MVP of this round.

I'm laughing that I told everyone Bless would be coming out, and no one delayed to get the buff, even though it would have no impact on when you went in relation to the gobbos.

Well it makes sense if you take RP into consideration, these people have just met; everyone will be doing what they think is best not bothering with coordinated assaults or team work.

@BigBusMan Sorry for asking so many questions, but since we didn't level up yet can I change the favored class bonus I've made or is it too late?

That's true Zander... on one hand I didn't actually expect Loupe to do much with his little ray anyway, on the other I forgot.

Not exactly sure why I got Loupe tipsy for the first encounter, but that's just the way things went.

No worries, they are just goblins, lol.

Have you seen Loupe's AC and HP? These things are a real threat to him!
Warning: if Loupe does get attacked, don't be in the area!

I just noticed how low Loupe's AC is, well hopefully a drunk man won't look too threatening to the gobbos.

Karl, go ahead and change it, is fine with me, but once we level, everything is set.

Thanks coach! I'll try to do better in the next round lol!

Starts warming up for the next round, throwing his virtual dice and picking them up quickly a number of times

If you could I need you guys to start thinking about and discussing how you would like to handle loot..

long term I'd like to see a merc company with regular payouts... but given at the moment we're a bunch of drunk murder hobos who met up a couple of hours ago I suggest anything from this fight get sold and the proceeds split *unless* there's reason to form a company immediately after.

Why form a company with Loupe?
Loupe's advantages is he can (A) sell stuff for 60% instead of 50%, which is 120% more profit on non-coinage loot (B) can repair and craft items (including, eventually, magic items).
Also he blows stuff up, but I suspect that in this group that may make him more a liability than an asset ;P

I think it'll be more believable to form something akin to a merc company later on; the characters have just met and have little reason to trust each other, especially considering the differing personalities and backgrounds. Karl sees the benefits from being around Loupe, an overeager craftsman who does not have a lot of customers and who will gladly accept work and finish it promptly(no offense ;]), but he still sees no reason to team up with any of the others(the thought have not even crossed his mind yet), so yes I agree that from this fight taking everything and selling it would be more believable as far as rp goes.

After this event, our adventurers will most likely be stuck together, so it will be more believable for them to divvy up the loot in alternative ways.

Male Dwarf Monk(Mantis) 6 Brother of the seal 2 vmc(rogue) hp 82/82 Perception +12 AC , touch , flat-footed Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7 (+3 vs poisons, spells, and spell like abilities.)

Is it just me or did the whole map shift?

Yeah its shifted for me as well.

Zander you have an amazing virtual throwing arm! Now that's what I call a roll!!

Too bad I can't carry this luck into my other games, I went 1 for 6 in a fight on my Monk. Couldn't hit AC 15 for anything. One attack I even had a +11, and rolled a 2.

This is nothing compared to my friend who plays a barbarian, if I am not mistaken he rolled three 1s in a single fight.

I'm all good for position, thanks :)

Quote:
If you are able to take only a standard action on your turn, you can still charge, but you are only allowed to move up to your speed (instead of up to double your speed) and you cannot draw a weapon unless you possess the Quick Draw feat. You can't use this option unless you are restricted to taking only a standard action on your turn.

Ahh, I knew there was something about charging in the surprise round. Thanks. Good thing I had my glaive already out, lol.

excuse me while I go cry in the corner...

the dice on this board seem unusually harsh

Okay Red and Sten are up next and then its the gobbos and finally Zander...I am guessing some gobbos will survive till the next round, but after that it should be over.

I just realized something if Red's Attack of Opportunity took out the goblin before Karl charged...that means Karl was aiming to kill the dog?! Never knew it was possible to make my character even meaner than he was already.

hehe, I actually aimed for the Goblin dog on my first attack, so no worries there. Also, goblin dogs are actually more like big rat things, not fluffy puppies oozing love...

That's good to hear, Karl may be a scoundrel and bully, but he wouldn't axe a poor puppy! That's in the realm of chaotic evil, the GM would surely penalize me for acting against alignment without any legitimate reason.

Well here comes the gobbos turn...I just hope they don't get any natural 20s; it would be really embarrassing for a strong looking group of adventures to get routed by a bunch of goblins and a dog like rat.

Male 1/2 Orc Inquisitor of Lamashtu HP 11/11 AC 17/12 Touch/15 FF Fort: +4 Reflex: +2 Will: +6 Init: +6 CMB:+2 CMD:14

Looks like we survived the 1st round....

The virtual dice on this website are equally bad for everyone, no discrimination between adventurers and gobbos here.

Male Dwarf Monk(Mantis) 6 Brother of the seal 2 vmc(rogue) hp 82/82 Perception +12 AC , touch , flat-footed Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7 (+3 vs poisons, spells, and spell like abilities.)

True enough. Somehow feels like a real fight. A lot of flailing around till finally someone gets a solid hit and takes someone else out.

All this confusion is part of why I prefer lumped block format, PCs>Monsters>PCs>Monsters. With the number of reach party members, it may be easier for bigbusman to just run the AoO's for us, rather than splitting up his actions waiting for us to roll the virtual dice.

Male Dwarf Monk(Mantis) 6 Brother of the seal 2 vmc(rogue) hp 82/82 Perception +12 AC , touch , flat-footed Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +7 (+3 vs poisons, spells, and spell like abilities.)

I wouldn't have any problem with that.

That would be fine by me.

Male 1/2 Orc Inquisitor of Lamashtu HP 11/11 AC 17/12 Touch/15 FF Fort: +4 Reflex: +2 Will: +6 Init: +6 CMB:+2 CMD:14

fine by me too

OK I will Run The AoO attacks if that is cool, it will cut down waiting time if i do.

I do try and do block attacks, this fight was Gob Commando, players, goblins, zander.

Two goblins and one goblin dog left, still some actions left in our block so we could probably take them out.

Hey guys, I’ve realized I’m doing a lot of posts trying to correct things, and I’m sorry. I’m an experienced player/GM that usually runs with a lot of inexperienced players, so it’s second nature for me to point out buffs they missed or AoO’s that could have happened. However, I realized that could get quite annoying in a PbP setting were my tone and normal table chat is lost. If you guys want I’ll button it, and let BBM handle things under the GM prerogative rule, and stop cluttering the gameplay thread with OOC corrections.
