(should be able to get position just may take a beating getting there) Moving to the flank of the troll facing Silvash he infuses his blade with a bane for the beast and cuts at it.

That is true if you are only going through a threat zone, but if you try and go through a creature's square and fail, you fail to move and get an AOO. You do, however manage to put that troll down with Elathras.

Smiling at Thoron, Elathras points to one of the several troll claw marks on his shoulder. "I can really use some healing, but can you make sure this one leaves a scar? I think it looks cool."
