The cost of feed per pony is 1.5 GP each. They already have packs.
The total cost for everyone's rations is 90GP for the party. So this is not a deal breaker, but it is 7 days each way to RA. 21 days only leaves you 7 days to explore. Helgash, please see your PM. I am not sure you understand, the 7 of your are joining Thoron so he has 3 ponies and a small treasure from the old party.
Ok, so we already have ponies, and they already have saddle bags? Perfect!
90gp/8 = 11,25gold each. And we will all have 30 days of trail rations each. Is that it? Sounds good to me.| The Monkeyman |
Apologies, I have been slow in responding; this weekend got busy.
Seems I forgot about your daggers, that accounts for another 4 lbs to the 32 I had. As for a dueling dagger again I do not have adventurers armory 2. I do have Razor Coast
Cup-Hilt Dagger
...
Ok, I will take a cup-hilt dagger
... As for the masterwork straps, a handy haversack is already masterwork so I don't see how that works? Enlighten me please. It is a secret chest.
As to what I think the difference is, a pictures give the best explanation, Link. Secret chest effect or no, better strapping makes carrying the load easier... Still, MW backpack strapping deleted.
Explorer's outfit has no weight added.
Ok, GM’s call.
...What are you putting in the bandoliers? That adds weight. I figured 5.5 lbs for the alchemical items.
I’ll make that clear in my next equipment set up post. I will probably cut it to one bandolier, and only a couple (not all) of the alchemicals will be on it (so the monkey has some ammo available).
brvheart wrote:Halfling Trail Rations? s/b orc these would have no benefit to you and the orc ones would. Why would he buy halfling trail rations..?
Could it be because they weight half what a standard trail ration weighs? You sneaky you... :P
And Helgash takes the point. But if we are using ponies, the matter becomes moot, and I will simplify my personal carry to the wandermeal.

Hopefully, a finalised equipment set up

Acid flask X5 (50 gp, 5 lb)
-12 gp for 30 days trail rations on pony (and the pony food as well)
143.27 gp
This works out to
Carried: Magic Items (7 lbs) + Weapons (5 lbs) +Armor (16.3 lbs) + Explorers Outfit - lbs + Bandolier ( -lbs) + Ghast Retch Flask (1) 1 lb + Shard Gel (1) 1 lb+ Alchemist Firte (1) lb + Acid Flask (1), 1 lb = 32.3 lbs/33 >> Light load
In Handy Haversack: (Remaining Alchemy) 17.5 lb, Wandermeal 10 day (1sp, 5 lbs), chalk (1 cp – lbs ), flint and steel (1 gp, - lbs) , waterskin (1 gp, 4 lbs), bedroll (1sp, 5 lbs), blanket (5sp, 3 lbs), hammock (1sp, 3 lbs), 100 ft hemp rope (2gp, 20 lbs), mess kit (2 sp, 1 lb), Pomander (12 gp, 0.5 lbs), Ear trumpet (with worm screen) (10 gp, 2 lbs), MW Thieves Tools (100 gp, 2 lbs), Whetstone (2 cp, - lbs), = 63 lbs
I have put in 12 gp towards trail rations (30 days per person), and pony food. I think that covers my share...

The Monkeyman and his monkey can help with this (+6 an +5 to survival respectively).
