Good point, I'd forgotten (and should have checked before posting). Is anyone stood next to Theo (as opposed to behind him) at the point he breaks the (double) door? Otherwise both attackers will converge on Theo. If nobody is next to Theo I'll assume you're all 5 feet back from the doors at the start of initiative.

OK, going to assume that Theo is the only one at the door. I've placed the wolves on the map, labelled A and B.

The two wolves, each wielding a large, ornate falchions, threatening with both their swords and their jaws, move towards Theopolis at the broken door.

Theopolis suffers a barrage of attacks from the two werewolves. Swords and bite tearing into his flesh, making the Paladin waver a bit under the force of the blow. Reacting almost instantly, Anna sends a bolt flying toward the wolves, but it flies off course and hits the far wall. Kimberly, making sure to exclude the wolves, send a wave of positive energy to heal Theopolis.

Summoning divine energy to protect his allies and himself, Theopolis tries to bring down one of the werewolves. Swinging his great sword at the creature, he manages to pass his enemy defense on the first attack. Probably due to his wound, the second attack lacks the strength to pierce the wolf's armor. He then moves back a bit in an attempt to have the creatures follow him. Tolven was waiting for an opening to let loose his arrow. He got it when Theopolis back away slightly. His arrow flies true and hit the creature in the arm.

Danica gets in melee with the wolves, using her Nunchaku to attack the wounded wolf. She doesn't get an opening to flank the creature, but it didn't matter since she manage to get pass its defense. The werewolf gets a good hit on its side that leave a bruise.

One of the wolf moves forward to press the attacks against Theopolis. He spins his sword in a flash and manage to slash it across the Paladin abdomen drawing some blood. As Theopolis bend slightly from the impact, the wolf then sinks his teeth in the man's shoulder inflicting another wound.

Seeing another target in range, the other wolf decides to go against Danica. The wolf time his attack perfectly, the sword hit in a vital part of Danica and the jaw closes down on her arm, the some divine protection seems to reduce those grievous wounds into minor ones. Frustrated, the wolf still manages to pull Danica to the ground. You are now proned

Quick question Theopolis. You have as current effect Oil of bless weapon, is that this spell? Bless Weapon If it is, then you don't need to roll any confirmation for crits. As per the spell description.

"No, no, NO!" Anna shrieks when she sees Theo take another bite and Danica get bit as well. With the paladin's massive counterstrike hopefully distracting the one between he and the monk, Anna makes a reckless move to get into flanking position. She dives past Danica and rolls between the snapping jaws of the two werewolves, tumbling to come up behind the one inside the door. Then she drives her mithral dagger's blade under its ribs.

Tolvan stesp back 5' and fires another silver arrow at the nearest were. These things are tougher than I though they would be.

Reckless, but not that reckless. Yeah, I'll stop short, unless I have a clear shot because of cyan dying?


Using the healing power that his Goddess provide him, Theopolis closes some of his wounds. Then he goes back on the offensive. The first strike of his sword rips through the skin of the werewolf, opening a wound that would have been fatal to most. His sword still going with the momentum, Theopolis circle it back in a downward motion to finish off the creature.

As it falls, Tolvan readjust his position and fire another arrow at the surviving one, but again, the arrow deflects on the armor and doesn't manage to injure the target. Kimberly moves in closer and, using magic try to destabilize the one still standing, but he proves more resistant than expected.

Anna, since Danica lying on the floor after being tripped and the werewolf is still standing, you can shoot at it from anywhere. In my opinion, Danica doesn't provide any cover at the moment.

Just Danica left, then it's back to the werewolf.

Yep, I already calculated it for the attacks on Danica. She only received 16 points of damage total instead of 33. Just need her to post and we can continue. If she doesn't post by tomorrow morning, I guess I'll have to bot her. :(


Anna moves in closer to the werewolf, hoping to make a difference and preventing anyone else getting bitten. She takes out her dagger as she moves and before the werewolf could deflect the blow. The dagger slide across the flesh and open another wound. Danica, seeing Anna next to her, swings her legs in the air as if she was attacking, but then her back arches at the same time, and in a fraction of a second she is back on her feet. In that same fluid movement, she spins her Nunchaku around herself and then, with a flick of the wrist, strike the werewolf.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Acrobatic: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
Nunchaku+Bane: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 + 2 = 28
Damage+bane: 1d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 2 + (3, 4) = 15

The wolf, seeing his companion fall, growls at the group. "You'll pay for that." He once again attack the monk, trying to bring down one of his assailants.

Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

But it seems that all those wounds he received are taking their toll as he is unable to connect any attacks. Seeing all the people starting to crowd around him, he takes a step back along the wall to prevent anyone from flanking him.

Tolvan, you can now do your magic missiles, but I am going to need a caster check to beat a spell resistance.

Delaying to see if the missiles did their work and if the creature is still up.


Kimberly and Tolvan hits the creature with their magic. While the spell seems to pass the werewolf resistance, it manages to stay standing. The magic missiles, however do their job and hits it directly in the chest. Visibly hurt, the werewolf tries to prepare for another frontal assault, but instead a bag of glue goes flying its way. Mixing in with the fur, the werewolf growl in the challenge. Theopolis moves in and finish it off with a another well placed hit with his sword. The werewolf is dead, but still stand has he is glued to the wall.

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Combat is over. The SR is new to those specific werewolves.

Tolvan casts a quick Detect Magic, and surveys the room. I must say these beasts are more formidable that I first thought. he says quietly. I guess the only place to go, after we heal up, is up.

Anna eyes the open hatch in the ceiling warily, though her face was still lined with concern over Danica and Theopolis. Danica's words cause her to recall her own crawling fear over being infected. "I don't know. Next full moon, I guess? We might still have some belladonna." Her own stomach roils at the thought of more of that concoction.

Ultimately realizing she couldn't help them by fretting over it, she busies herself with the hatch. First, she cranes her neck and listens for sounds coming from the upper floor.

Then she grabs a rake or broom and sticks one of the sacks of flour on its end. Then dabbing a bit of mud to form a crude face on the sack, she thrusts it up through the hatch to see if it gets a reaction.

I have two doses of the herb.Tolvan notes.But we do have some time. No good giving a dose now and then getting bit again later in the day.

Seeing what Anna is up to he takes her arm and asks quietly Give me a moment. I can haste us before we go up. And I've a new ability I can Dimensional Step that can lets me move us up all at once.

As there are 5 of us, if its 10' up it would cost him (2X5) 10 of his 48 5' teleports he get per day. If 15' it cost (3X5) 15 and if (4X5) 20' up it will cost 20. So he has plenty of teleport power.

Assuming the group is willing, once everyone is ready he will cast an extended Haste and then Domensionally Step the group up one floor in a defensible position with Kimberly and Tolvan in the back near a wall - Ideally one he can see from below.

Tolvan's words does little to soothe her concerns. Her head snaps back to reality and then she realizes that she can continue to get bit without any concerns, in fact, she is already infected. Both Danica and Anna moves closer to the hatch and concentrate for a second. Trying to hear any sound coming from the second floor. They are about to call the all clear when they noticed it. The small cracking in the floors has someone shift its weight. The breathing of people anticipating some action. To establish if they are friend or foe, Anna creates a makeshift decoy and move it up the hatch. This time it's unmistakable. As the bag passes the threshold, They hears someone moving as if he was about to jump out, but then someone else hissed to stop him.

Anna puts on a hard expression, nodding to everyone and holding up two fingers. Staying silent, she drops the dummy, draws her dagger, and digs into her satchel again. This time, she produces a hard stone-like object.

She points to everyone to stand next to Tolvan, nodding to him once they're in position. Then she chucks the stone hard into the opening. The echoing crash of the stone is deafening for those upstairs. Anna races to stand next to Tolvan to join his dimensional step, ready for action.

Danica offers a slight smirk towards Anna and then her friends. She nods as she looks at everyone, silently, indicating that she and Anna have heard something of concern. The inquisitor monk moves silently with Anna towards Tolvan and getting into a ready defensive stance with her silver nunchaku in her hands.

As Anna is pulling the thunderstone Tolvan casts Haste on the group. extending the magic with a quick touch of the amulet he wears about his neck. 16 rounds of Haste!

After the blast of noise Tolvan reaches out to his friends and concentrates his mastery of teleportation, moving everyone up 10' and over 5' in a defensible formation. Something like where I have everyone grouped.


Anna throws the stone through the hatch and on the second floor. The loud bang can be felt through the wooden floor. At the same moment, Tolven use his magic to first accelerate the group physical movement and then to shift them to the second floor.

The rough-cut floorboards of this open attic rest on exposed timbers. In several locations, the roof's wooden shingles have fallen away, leaving gaping holes. Beneath these holes, the gray, weathered floor planks appear rotten, Half a dozen piles of broken equipment and tools, unused for decades, lie under a carpet of dust, while tramples pathways reveal recent tracks of both humans and wolves.

The group appears right next to a trio of werewolves that was obliviously waiting on people coming up the ladder. One is bigger than the other two, he turns to you. "I don't know who you are, but your trespassing end here. There is no way you are walking out of here alive unless you drop your weapons and join our cause as brothers and sisters." The one closest to you seem to be slower in his reaction, as if he couldn't hear at the moment.
