Aten is too excited over the prospect of the talking sword to pay Ghiv's irritation much mind. He nearly skips toward Vothe and begins to examine the blade while it is still in Vothe's hand.

Ghiv gives Vothe the meanest eyes he can muster before saying Are we ready to leave NOW? After I was proven right, yet again.

Vothe the blade is willed to life, so you merely have to stow the hilt. Congrats you have a lightsaber.
Insidde the tomb you find an invisible chest filled with treasure that Brysis took with her to the afterlife. Containing 4000 sp, 1200 gp, eleven zircons (50 gp each), a necklace, a philter and a potion.
Ril Trausch
Maybe we can bury Bryn down here? Seems a better place to put him.
He looks over the loot with a skeptical eye.
Thats a lot to carry but at least we have something to trade when we need to get new equipment, or better yet, buy information of a route back to the surface... lets just take the gold and gems. I don't want to be carrying all that silver. Oh, anything we should know about the necklace or the potion?
Lenthus Dilwam
"We should divide it up among all of us. It will give everyone the money they need to get back on their feet once we are to civilization."
We have 7 NPCs who I believe would want money (I don't think Stool would want any), plus 5 living PCs. After we sell it, it could be divided 14 ways, which is 153 gp. and 57 sp. per person. If we then spend much of the money on gems, that would be an efficient way of carrying them.

Athletics Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Vothe will also shout encouraging words to Aten. I will use inspiration on you to add 1d6 to a check within the next 10 minutes. I would recommend you use it on your athletics check.

Ghiv simply turns into a cave lizard and scampers up the wall.

Having a day to heal up you come across the ominous Silken Paths. A network of spiderwebs crisscrossing a 500 foot deep, 2000 foot wide chasm that stretches for nearly five miles. The major strands of the webs are traversable but, due to fact that old webs disintegrate over time and giant spiers inhabiting the chasm are constantly spinning new ones, the Silken Pathes are ever changing.
At the foot of the Silken Paths are a pair of goblins, noticing as you approach the stand up and brush themselves off, You pay Yuk Yuk and Spiderbait, we take you cross the paths, safe and sound.
Lenthus Dilwam
"You know what? I don't even care anymore! We're thirty thousand feet underground, Axthres has a body, Kingsley and Bryn are dead, and we're about to cross a network of spider webs with someone name Spiderbait! Lead on, you two! You get a share of whatever we find! Here's some money up front!" Lenthus yells as he marches off towards the silken paths, tossing the goblins his purse, money, and two bars of soap.
"Come along everyone! We must make it to the underground city so we can sell our jewellery and warn them of a demon attack!"
Paying them 10 gp. and a bar of soap each total. If they need more, the others can pay them, that's all I have
Ril Trausch
Ril seems surprised by Lenthus' outbreak but then reflects that maybe its just a matter of time before something inside him also snaps... Maybe its the soldier in him that allows him to push on with the job at hand without time for existential doubts or worries.
Everyone picked up 153 gp. and 57 sp. per person so you should be ok for cash
Ril keeps silent, wondering if the 10 gold and the cleaning products will be sufficient or if he needs to pay from his own purse.

Looking at the purse just handed to him, he shakes it up and down , as if to aid in weighing a decision, This will do. Each. And first pick on the loot we discover.
He tosses a gourd to Lenthus, that is filled with a slick, black , grease. The goblins pull out a similiar one and start greasing their feet.
As soon as you pay, the will insist on passing the gourd to the next person.
Ghiv Masdara
Ghiv greases himself as well, he sniffs at the concoction...

"Not spiders again..."
Axthres fades from view, flying down towards Ril, so he is beside the spiders Ril can now sneak attack, as Lenthus speaks his word of power and sends a bolt of energy at the closest spider to his friend.

Ghiv says Humpf. Silly old spiders, go away. and he summons a Flaming Sphere Can Ghiv set the webs afire between the party and the Spiders, thus creating a barrier?
Ril Trausch
Oh dear... I can't help but wonder if this is going to have unforeseen consequences- I get the impression it has to run along a solid surface Quote- "When you move the sphere, you can direct it over barriers up to 5 feet tall and jump it across pits up to 10 feet wide. The sphere ignites flammable objects not being worn or carried, and it sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet."

Ghive sends the flaming sphere towards the spiders, burning away strands of webbing that you are standing on along th eway.
I am delaying the combat so someone can cut your new companion out of the web. But if no post by tomorrow we are going to start with thecombat so go ahead and give me initiaitive.

Mmmph mmph! the webbing cut free of his body Varis turns to Ril, Thanks, stranger. Thought I was a goner!
Seeing burning webs and the spider closing in, Varis is caught completely off guard.
Lenthus Dilwam
So they've reached Ril and Varis by now?
"Drevab!" Lenthus says, sending a bolt down at the spiders.
