if you must know I bought my retirement cabin on some land and had HORRIBLE real estate lawyers on both the sellers part and the buyers part screw up the paperwork which delayed the closing. Then I was given the wrong set of keys at the closing and had to wait for someone to find the right set of keys. The seller never mowed or pruned the property after I agreed to buy it a few months ago and the vegetation was running wild, so wild that after a recent storm a tree fell on the roof causing the chimney crown to crack and the county land inspector deemed the property unsuitable for habitation until it was fixed. So i had to take the seller to small claims court to get him to fix it since his actions caused the damage, and after winning I had to find a mason willing to do the job, which, unlike the medieval times, there aren't a lot of masons left plying their trade. So all that took a great deal of time and added stress and angst to my life. But the cabin is nice, once i put in hardwood flooring, and the property has trails to walk and 4-wheel.
That's awesome! a retirement cabin! too cool... I do understand what you're going through tho... I bought a house in 1994 right after the Northridge quake and went through hell with the contractors getting the repairs completed properly before escrow could close... sigh... Hope you enjoy your new place!

Apologies. Work has shifted a lot for me recently and I will be moving around Xmas time as I also drive up to fix the new home in-between now and then. I am doing what I can to close out my online PFS games and not start anymore until I get resettled after the new year. I do not want to end this game but I must admit I won't have the time for it until after the holidays if you all want to wait that long. I understand if you do not. Apologies once again.
