Woot! I've always wanted to play Ptolus and have been itching to play this character. Win Win!

On a side note and this will possibly be introduced here soon, my original intent is that you are all be marked with a Rune(a la some of the lore in the campaign about Runebearers) that are invisible to most people. I am still trying to decide how I want to handle them but so far I am think it will be a spell you can cast 1/day and a skill bonus and essentially like a trait. Though more similar to the least dragonmarks from Eberron...which is the closest I could find to it. Baffles me that it is so very briefly mentioned in the setting even though its seems to be sorta important to several plot lines. Once I have hashed it out I will post the update here and let you guys pick your Rune.

Ok all fixed up , background, traits etc..
The only Ptolus background that made sense was Arena Fighter. Do you want me to make up the special contacts ?
EDIT: Oh, and thanks alot for choosing me. Loves me Ptolus, long time :)

I'm not sure if it matters, but it doesn't look like I made it to the 'characters' tab.
Otherwise, I'm happy to be here!

Once you post it adds you Vaelus.
Everyone I am going through and messaging you privately if your character has a special contact from your Ptolus background trait, it may take a day or two for me to get everyones done so just bare with me. Jesset already sent you yours.

hmm...Unforunately there isnt one that will perfectly fite I just looked over your traits..I need you to drop one of them and choose from the list in the player's guide there is two or three on there that are tied to 3.5 gather info skill (meaning its a bonus to diplomacy) and a couple of them work as someone who could work for either of those houses is fine.

Just FYI, Lord T, I'm going with Kelwyn being employed by Doraedian Mythlord. He's mentioned in the player's guide as being the Elven master of Iridithil’s Home, an elvish sanctuary, and quite influential in town. Kel will be his right hand, acting behind the scenes kind of guy. I don't have the Ptolus main (monster of a) book, so if there is any info in there that you want to share, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, and thanks, also, for running the game. I like the characters everyone has put together and it looks like we're off to a good start!

Hey Lord T
Feel free to roll our perception checks for us. Then, we don't have to wait for the results. In my games that I GM, I keep a block of the characters perceptions written out in Word with the [dice command. Then I copy and paste the block into a post behind a spoiler. I use the preview function of the board to review the rolls, then submit the post with who notices what. Like this:
Perception for Orsal Hort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Perception for Jesset: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Perception for Doran: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Perception for Vaelus: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Perception for Tony: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Just reply to this post and you should be able to copy the block of formatting.
Cheers!

Fortunately, it's the Paizo dice roller and not attributable to a person's luck.
If we were across a table, I would never let you roll for me. ;D
cheers

You rolling streamlines the game a lot more. When I'm running a game I roll for people when something will or will not happen depending on there roll but not otherwise. For example if someone is sneaking up on the PCs I'll make their perception checks so I can get on with the encounter but if someone needs to make a knowledge (local) check to see if they remember the name of some traveling minstrel then that's there job to roll.

Wow,Victoria LOL!! your comment on in the gameplay thread just now bout made me spit liquid out my nose....
Doran no worries, if life is getting in the way dont worry about it I picked a big group for a reason if you wind up with free time in the future and want to get back in just message me
| Billzabub |
Yeah, sorry to see Doran go. I was looking forward to hiding behind him. ; )
All kidding aside, I just want to say it seems like we're off to a great start. Things are interesting (I want to know what's in the damn chest!), the characters are great, and we're moving right along at a nice pace. Thanks, again, Lord T, form running the game.

Instead of collecting emails, you can just share it using the link. That's what I do. Then post the map as a link that we can follow. When I GM, I put my links in the Campaign Info tab, as well as round summaries, like this
