Kali kicks one of the Ratfolk back into the tunnel, "helping" it to escape. Then, she laughs, and begins returning the bodies to their people with a *splash*, *splash*, *splash* sound as the hit the shallow water below.
"Well, that was fun. Should we check with the other people around here and see how they fared?"
Aleda tries to get Kali to wait a moment so she can clean her sword on one of their shirts or cloaks, but isn't quite fast enough to get her to stop. She pouts for a moment before moving to use Kali's cloak to clean her sword off.

Shellin will tap Aleda on the shoulder to stop her for a moment, before casting Prestidigitaiton to 'disappear' the blood and gore from her sword.

Shellin ponders for a moment, before asking the group,
"Shellin wonders if there is an contract on the ratmen of the sewer. We should check Delver's Square. It could be an easy way to get paid for dealing with these rascals!"
Taking the bottles, Alder shows them to the rest of the party.
"These not so good for us. Make it hard to find vermin Ratfolk. I wonder who give potions to rats? They usually not so smart.", the halfling says in his oddly accented broken common.

"It isn't that unusual, a fair number of Ratfolk practice Alchemy." Jonas says, correcting Alder. Once he is sure the fight is over for the moment, he sheaths his greatsword and begins to look around. "I'm sure someone must have called the guard... we'll have to explain this mess I'm sure." Jonas thinks with a sigh.
When the blood and gore vanish, Aleda blinks and looks at her sword for a moment before running her fingers along the blade to make sure it was really clean.
"That's never happened before," she mutters before sheathing it and turning to the others.

From the Ptolus PG: "He has read that it is common for people to post job announcements and contracts seeking adventurers in Delver's Square. If there is already a job out on the ratfolk, we could make a little spending money by dealing with these pests." And provide me a convenient reason enlist our little company for exploration, he thinks to himself.
The young swordswoman nearly falls flat on her face as Kali starts walking, but her relief is tempered by the pace the warrior adopts. Rather than push the issue, Aleda keeps an eye out and hopes the guards do not stop them for questions.
Alder drifts into the shadows and keeps watch on the rest of the party from concealment. He will follow once they are away from the local guards.

Alder melds into the shadows quite easily as the watchmen approaches.

Aleda finds out that the watchmen are approaching quickly and on horses.
Aleda groans and hangs her head in resignation. She really didn't want to talk to the guards. They always started asking questions that were awkward to answer. She'd have to answer them to, there wasn't any way she could get out of this with them so close and on horses.

"We should probably speak to the Guard before heading to Delver's Square." Jonas says confidently. Noting the suspicious actions of several of his would-be comrades, he continues;
"Delver's repelling an incursion is actually a fairly common occurrence, and I'm sure the Guard has seen stranger groups than ours. So I doubt there will be any trouble."
Aleda keeps her mouth closed, her hood pulled low, and her eyes on the toes of someone's boots. She really wants someone else to handle this conversation.

"The townsfolk said they were pillaging their homes, so we slew the four ratfolk we encountered. Most likely there are more where those came from." Jonas says, pointing to the sewer grate from which he assumes the ratfolk emerged.
Seeing that guards weren't paying her any mind, Aleda quickly relaxed, then grew bored and began looking for Hallach Fancon as she wandered towards the Southern Market Square.

I wonder if the ratfolk are based under the South Market, or elsewhere? "Have you had any recent trouble with the ratfolk? If so, has it only been in this district, or have they been popping up elsewhere?"
