Now on part three of a three part campaign for 1st-Level characters (who are now at 6th-Level)
Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
Fine, but when Grob's mom wonders WHY She has to use a regular chamberpot instead of a gold plated one, I'm going to point fingers...
measly 1666.7 gold.
;)
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
Denying an old lady a golden chamberpot? That's gotta be worth an alignment check on Grum. Next thing ya know, he's gonna start kicking puppies. ;P
Half Orc Ranger 4
Plainly for the folks coming in and the party potential. That's just my first reaction and am happy to be persuaded otherwise. :)
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
Grumadon "Grum" wrote: Plainly for the folks coming in and the party potential. That's just my first reaction and am happy to be persuaded otherwise. :) Nah! That's fine. Like you said, we could rationalize it as a way to convince 'new blood' to join us and be more effective.
DM- If it can be bought in town, Grob will purchase some Banded Mail and sell his Chainmail as he upgrades. He will spend 600 gold on his mother's new house to be built. He might also put in a spare hundred to help her keep up with expenses but he wouldn't advertise it yet.
Unless his half brother tries to outdo him by getting an even better house for HIS mother, in which case Grob gets competitive to a degree that's just silly :)
Half Orc Ranger 4
Now you're just egging me on! ;)
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
Grumadon "Grum" wrote: Plainly for the folks coming in and the party potential... FWIW, I was just joking and really have no issue with how you divvy out your loot.

Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
So does he sell the chainmail for a full value trade, or does he only get half for it? It DID once belong to a 'hero of the everflame celebration'...why that could increase its value to a collector ;)
Just making sure
I assumed that you get full price for the swap (or get a discount on the purchase - whichever you prefer).
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
Thanks!
I'd say over all, and not counting the loss of friends, Grob is probably very pleased with the benefits of the adventure. One of his big goals has been to provide for his human mother, and that is now well on the way. He seems to have gotten more respect in the town for his part (also a big goal of his). All that's left is finding a girl who he'll like who likes him back (Preferably without the help of gold)
Half Orc Ranger 4
Grum's leveled up btw. Ranger (Guide) 3 and 'ret ta go! :)
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
Leveled up as well. Gold for house and some upkeep (700 total) taken off. Bag of holding in inventory, new armor on and ready to go :)
Half Orc Ranger 4
Oh I haven't shopped... but I imagine there'll be a little time for that yet. I'll get those wheels turning asap.
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
I'd reveal the evidence, but I figured I'd give a bit more time for Rommund to chip in
Half Orc Ranger 4
Yeah, by evidence you're referring to the loot right?
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
The mask and the tavern name actually
Half Orc Ranger 4
oh, right, that makes sense.
HP: 47/47 - AC: 17 (21 w shield)|13|15 - For:+6 | Ref:+5 | Wil:+6 - Per:+10 Init:+2
I have some unexpected guests today and tomorrow, so I probably won't be able to post much, if at all. Please bot Rythan if it becomes necessary.
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
It looks like we've lost our rogue?
HP: 47/47 - AC: 17 (21 w shield)|13|15 - For:+6 | Ref:+5 | Wil:+6 - Per:+10 Init:+2
Sunday I'll be at a friend's birthday, so if we're still in the middle of the encounter at that time, please bot Rythan.
I'll check in with Romund - but if he's unable to continue, do you want another rogue in the party?
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
I don't know anything about these modules so I guess my question is - how much do we need the roguish skill-set? If break-in skills are key then, yeah, I'd be in favor of having a rogue on staff.
Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]
I think roguish skills are always welcome - most people shy away from rogues these days, for plenty of reasons ]though this is not the place to discuss that :D] - but Disable Device and a dedicated ability to deal with traps I think are a good addition to any group.
At least until the wizard is able to do all that :D
Half Orc Ranger 4
On the one hand I prefer smaller-ish groups, but I also like having the rogue skillset on hand, so I vote yes to adding a rogue. 2cp.
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
I'm good either way.
And sorry for my delay. I fell behind
HP: 47/47 - AC: 17 (21 w shield)|13|15 - For:+6 | Ref:+5 | Wil:+6 - Per:+10 Init:+2
I vote for a rogue as well.
Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
test... having problems posting in the gameplay thread
Whacky - my perception roll won't post. I'll keep trying.
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
Rolling here since the gameplay thread won't let me do more than preview... interesting enough, the die roll is the same.
Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Half Orc Ranger 4
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
I think it fixed itself. I cleared my cache and even switched browsers and it was just hating my post. :)
Half Orc Ranger 4
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
Perhaps Rumha's prayers got answered. :p
Half Orc Ranger 4
I don't know if I've said this already... or if it just feels that way cause I've thought it so many times, but I'd be in favor of you rolling our init for us. Just as much randomness, imo, and generally save quite a bit of time. My 2cp
How'd all of you feel about that?
HP: 39/39 - AC: 16|12|14 - For:+5 | Rex:+4 | Wil:+10 - Per:+12 Init:+2
I can go either way. It doesn't matter much to me.
Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]
HP: 47/47 - AC: 17 (21 w shield)|13|15 - For:+6 | Ref:+5 | Wil:+6 - Per:+10 Init:+2
It doesn't matter to me, either. That would be fine.
Right - unless someone objects, I'll roll initiatives from now on.
Just to say that I'm going to post for a roguish-type later today on the boards.
And later this week I'm going to post to start a Rise of the Runelords campaign. It's an itch I have to scratch and I won't let it get in the way of this game - I promise.
Male Half Orc Druid 5 (HP: 38/38; AC 19, (t11, ff17); F+5,R+2,W+7; init +1/Per +13)
Ooo Rise of the Runelords eh?
Half Orc Ranger 4
I have played in that game twice before GM leaving killed it. I hope it goes well for you!
I've been getting a hankering for another game. We'll see.
Peri-Blooded Aasimar (Emberkin) Male Angel-Blooded Aasimar (Angelkin) Oracle 4/Paladin (Hospitaler) 2[HP: 58/58 - AC: 19|12|17 - For:+11 | Ref:+8 | Wil:+10 - Per:-2 Init:+2]
Dang, I keep telling myself I don't have time for any more games but... Rise of the Runelords... :D
HP: 47/47 - AC: 17 (21 w shield)|13|15 - For:+6 | Ref:+5 | Wil:+6 - Per:+10 Init:+2
I'd love to put up my barbarian Shoanti for a Runelords game... so I will when it gets announced. ;P All together now: NEVER ENOUGH GAMES!

Hey folks,
Just to let you know, I will be heading out on vacation tomorrow afternoon (26th) through October 12th. I'll be globe-trotting and won't be dragging my computer along. While I may be able to check in periodically, I probably won't have a chance to post so please bot my character as needed. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

While we're taking vaca's this weekend (27th - 29th) I'll be at a mountain cabin and likely unable to post. Please bot as needed.
Thanks for letting us know. Let's see how far we can get in the next 24 hours.
