As for Ash... He can deal with traps and complicated mechanisms, but he's more likely to shout people out of his way than to sneak around. Just a heads up. He has a CLW wand, but can't activate it. Or not overly often, at least. So getting a hand with that aspect would be nice. And some flanking for sneak attack damage. Other than that, we're golden. Thanks for having me.

Vornsk acheived level 3 on Monday. I have her mostly leveled up, and will update her profile in the next couple of days.
I am going to purchase some offensive scrolls (or a wand) and a magic weapon (debating which one). Any one willing to offer an opinion on a weapon? I am debating a wounding gauntlet versus a keen sword. It will be a while before I have the actual enchantment but have to decide on the weapon now.
Eventually will have Spring Attack.
Spiked gauntlet is her implement (I almost went tekko-kagi but wanted more of tiger claw than blades).
Vornsk will often strike from stealth (vs flatfooted) which means I especially want the first attack to count. I am not concerned about dealing a lot of damage (not a combat heavy character). If I go with wounding, the initial attack stands the chance of contributing (however slight) to the ongoing battle. If I go keen it stands the chance of doing more damage. There might be other things to consider, which is why I am asking for your brainstorming.
A week to go, and I'd like for everyone to check in and confirm their character (and level) as Vornsk has done. That'll give me some time to look them over a bit and give your fellow players a chance to know who they're gaming with.
I will probably post the 'pre-start' of the game next Saturday, a couple days before the official beginning of PbP Gameday just to give everyone a chance to post their intro in the Gameplay thread and do some RP before the adventure begins on the 13th.
I've sent an IM to Zzorn, asking him to dot into the gameplay thread to confirm his spot. If I've not heard from him by Monday at the end of the day I'll see about recruiting another player - or I might just stick with five. At the moment, it looks as though we're low tier. If anyone's level has changed, please update your character sheet and let me know, but here's the math I'm coming up with:
2+2+2+3+3+2 = 14/6 =2.33...
Chance - Level 2
Roscoe - Level 2
Kroone - Level 2
Kridash - Level 3
Vornsk - Level 3
Zzorn - Level 2
Even without Zzorn, we'd still be looking at 2.4

The game has begun! Once you have all made your character intros and asked questions, I'll be locking in your characters and determining the tier for certain, though it looks to be low unless there are some big changes.
I also regret to inform you all that I'll be on a brief vacation over the next week and a half, beginning tomorrow. I am going to try and access the site with my smartphone and make brief posts during that time (probably answering questions during the briefing), but if you don't hear from me before next Tuesday or thereabouts you'll know why.
Sorry again for this necessary delay, but know that we'll be at full steam ahead thereafter.
So this last couple of weeks have been aggravating for GMs and players alike. Still, having played on another pbp gaming board that had a LOT more outages than Paizo, I'm only mildly irritated at the delay we've had.
Still, it's proven problematic in getting our game started, and figuring out who is really with us. At the moment, I know we have four players who have been very active of late, and two more players who were active prior to the board issues (though they haven't posted lately, and I think even Kroone should be back to normal according to his post above).
I will PM Kroone and Zzorn to make sure they are still with us, but I do think we'll be hearing from them so I won't be making any plans to recruit another player for this one - not at the moment anyway.
Also, I believe that I need Chronicle Sheet information from all of you, though my apologies if I overlooked it somewhere that you might have posted it. Please give me the following information in a post below.

I've also put some stuff in the Campaign Information tab, including a link to the only handout you've received thus far. Once I get a map going (after you deal with Julian), I'll have a link to the Player Map there as well - though I'll also put those in each of my posts for your convenience. I also have combat notes, character information, initiative modifiers and perception modifiers (for when I need to make those secret rolls!) I'm also keeping your player information (Chronicle Sheet info) there for easy reference so I don't have to slog through the other tabs when the game is over. Let me know if you spot any mistakes and I'll adjust as needed.

I agree, the outages are getting a tad irritating. I am running a few tables for gameday, and I wrote up several long posts just to have them consumed by the forum goblins in the recent weeks. It's sort of disheartening.

Because we only have a month to finish this adventure, I plan to step up the posting rate as much as I can. Please try to post actions (especially in a combat situation) within 24 hours of my post if possible. If that span passes without a post, I'll probably go ahead and bot the player(s) who haven't posted as best I can.

Sounds good! if you provide some quick feedback (no need for the entire initiative reprint) on whether Zzorn or Kridash's attacks had an effect or not, (i.e. take 5 dmg off or 10 dmg off or no effect or full effect) then the two warriors can adjust tactics to use what works and post a few rounds' worth of attacks.
Thanks Ash. Nobody has posted since Zzorn did yesterday and I'd rather not bot everyone. I'll wait until late tonight or tomorrow and see if I can get some player's actions.
Hopefully we get Vornsk and Ash back for Round 2.
