"To the death? What's the fun in that? Whatever you want! First blood, to the pain, until one of us drops. I am good with all that! You choose, I will abide!" shouts Wee Willie Winkie, as he flits around.

After a quick discussion, Lander and Wee Willie agree that they will fight to knock out or yield.
Lander: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Wee Willie: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Wee Willie leads off by turning invisible. "Hey!" yells Lander, "That's cheating!"
"No it isn't..." says a disembodied voice, "We didn't agree to no special abilities!" The atomie laughs at his joke.
Lander moves to where the atomie is laughing, and swings to the best of his ability. While Lander figures out where the fey creature is, he misses badly.

"Oh! I'd better shut up, then, shouldn't I!?" quips the atomie.
A sparkle of magic showers over Lander, as the fey creature becomes visible. Lander suddenly shrinks to half his size!

"Not so big after all, are you, little man?"
Lander yells out in rage, but cannot reach the atomie who has flown up too high for the noble lad to attack. Lander pulls a dagger, and throws it at Wee Willie.

"OW! That hurt!" shrieks Wee Willie, who proceeds to turn invisible again.
"Damnit!" yells Lander, who takes on a readied position with his sword. Lander then fails to notice where the atomie has gone... a situation that is quickly rectified, as the creature flits above the Lander's blade suddenly.

As Lander strikes one last blow as Wee Willie Winkie charges in, the fey shrieks. He then flits back, withdrawing. "You cannot beat me! I will not let you!!! Ha ha ha ha!"
Lander looks heartbroken that he cannot finish the fight, but the atomie has flown off faster than he can follow. He quietly goes around and picks up his daggers, and looks at his now very small, cloth sword, and wonders what he is going to do about it. "Anya, undo this foul magic!" he orders.

The group quickly gathers up the gemstones and heads back to town, a line of captives in tow. They make it to Silverhall without any more incidents, much to the relief of the Pathfinders.
The bandits are turned over to the constables, with evidence for their trial. The Pathfinders and Lander then head to his home, and are greeted by a very appreciative Dame Sarrona Lebeda. "Oh, Lander! I am so happy to see you home safely! Thank you, Pathfinders, for a job well done!"
