Yeah, I suppose (Honestly, the post complaining about hot clothes surprised me, I kinda figured it was a kilt, woad, a claymore, and nothing else. Go ahead and set the scene at Wanda's.

Saleem is a perfectly fine name~

"Ah, er, actually Mom, today has been a long day. I've called work and they've given me the day off, so I'd like to rest," explains Amir.

Fishing in his pocket, Amir pulls out a bluetooth earpiece, syncing it with the phone before putting it in his ear. Now he could talk on the phone and text at the same time. And then, maybe after all this, he could finally put his phone away for a while. He was starting to feel glued to this thing.

The Kilt: where'd u end up? U anywhere near east park?
The Kilt: u readin me duster-buster? i need u to meet me at the bakery on 23rd. not urgent, but time-sensitive.
Me: Yeah I'll be there.

Amir rolls his eyes. These guys were starting to run him ragged.

--

The Doomed pulls up to the bakery on his sandwave. He's surprised to see Manifest here. And Amir is doubly surprised to see the absolutely destroyed alley. Little bit of an exaggeration, but still.

"Seriously guys?", calls Amir, in slack-jawed horror. "Was trashing one food place not enough for you?"

He allows the sandwave to collapse into a pile outside the alleyway, as he approaches to inspect it. They flipped a dumpster. Scorch marks and trash were all over the place. To their credit though, Manifest was at least repairing the fire escape.

AAAGH. Paizo keeps logging me out for some reason.

Manifest whips round and glares at Amir - and then, a little to his side. "Don't. Even. Think about it. Over here, now." He continues to stare harshly at the air. "Don't give me that. You and I both know what you were about to try, just as we did the last ump-teen thousand times. No. Come. Here." After a little more staring, his gaze slowly traces through the air until it rests on a space to his right. "Thank. You. Ariel? Keep an eye on him. Make sure he doesn't do anything f$&&ing stupid. AGAIN."

Finished talking to the air, Manifest goes back to giving Amir a death-glare. "Now, with that out of the way...really, Amir? You don't ask what happened, you don't ask if we're alright - that's the s+%& you come out with? You assume we did this right off that bat, and bloody talk to us like we get a kick out of trashing places? Do you really think that little of us that any damages you see us nearby have to be our fault, or what? Maybe you think one of us failed to keep the other in line. Please, explain it to me. Why f&&!ing assume something like that, right off the bat? If you an issue with either of us that we're valued so little, please, come out with it now, rather than later."

"Someone was attacked here, Amir. Yesterday. Hospitalised by an Electro without proper control of their powers. This is the aftermath." Manifest lets out a sharp exhale of breath. "Whoever it is, they're nearby. So, we're looking around the area for places without electricity, since whoever we're dealing with won't be able to help knocking out anything electrical nearby. Might want to take some precautions with your phone, by the way."

"Best we bloody find them sooner over later. Can't have them attacking someone else, can we?"

Normally it would be, but he didn't fully change for the race. He just donned the kilt and the sword for the race, and then all this happened. It's intentional because he's got a massive bruise on his back, so if he fully changed his injury would be super obvious. I added that clothes bit to establish that he was still in (at least some) concealing street clothes. (Y'know, for when it gets revealed in the middle of some important situation. *wink wink nudge nudge*)

Wanda's Wonderful World Cuisine (better know as just Wanda's) is a place almost everyone in Panurgic knows about, but very few people have actually been to, partially due to its location in one of Panurgic's poorer districts. The exterior of the building is remarkably unremarkable, a simple dinner car with red and grey coloring, but the interior is far more fascinating. Thousands of depleted alien weapons, half-melted power armor pieces, and shards of doomsday weapons cover the walls and ceilings of the establishment, a testament to the owner's past career as Ms. Wanda the Wonderful. Each neo-abled relic is a trophy from one of Wanda's former adventures, a collection spaning her career from the heyday of the Golden Age to the twilight of the Bronze Age.

Ms. Wanda very rarely visits the dinner directly in her old age however, preferring to leave it in the care of her former teammate, Adam-9 the Android. While friendly and personable, Adam was initially designed by a madman scientist, and his unsettling faceplate and heavily armored body reflects this. Add onto this the fact that he hired one of the surliest looking and acting chefs in Panurgic, and most sane folk give the place a very wide berth.

If one can get past the location and staff appearances however, they will find one of the most comprehensive menues of world cuisine to ever exist. Both Adam and his chef are capable of cooking anything from shawarma to haggis to fired squid. If you crave it, there's a good chance Wanda's has got it. Plus, if you tip well, Adam will even tell the stories behind some of the artifacts decorating the walls. Just...don't touch any of them...

@Elsine, you okay with that?

Kilt stares at the spot the tiger had just disappeared from. "Uh...guess that works...I was expecting a flying welding set or something, but the god-tiger of time works too..."

It takes him a few moments to even register Amir's arrival. Half a second later his phone vibrates with a reply text. 'Damn cell service...'

As Amir and Manifest exchange words, Kilt looks back and forth between them. 'What is up with these two? Manifest was way too hot when he left the park, but I thought he cooled a bit. Now Amir walks...rides in, and he's right back off his head again.' His gaze then lingers, then fixes on Amir. 'Wait...didn't Manifest take off after Amir walked out with him?'

Assault and battery:

Warning: former defense attorney talking.

"Assault" is actually defined as threatening or causing a person to fear an unwanted physical touching. "Battery" is the actual touching/contact of an unwanted or harmful nature. So swinging a baseball bat at someone but not actually hitting them would be an assault, while hitting them would be assault and battery. A sucker punch would be a battery without an assault (no fear created since the victim didn't see it coming).

In Siphon's suggested action of riding the bus and draining anyone who grabs her, it's going to be an interesting legal question. Pinching someone on a bus is clearly battery (and maybe assault), meaning Siphon would be the victim.

Her drain would probably not be a crime under the current laws, since she didn't go out and do anything proactive. However, if there's special laws in a world of super powers prohibiting anyone being harmed by an enhanced ability, then she'd be criminally liable (especially if she can control it, which she can unlike Rogue). But then, every hero who can wield an energy blast would also be subject to prosecution if anyone is harmed.

So, tl;dr: Siphon would not be guilty of assault, but may be in violation of a special law that applies to enhanced individuals and the use of their powers. If you want to get technical.

:)

Impatience getting the better of her, Siphon grabs the phone off the wall and snatches the business card from Moxie. She punches the buttons and makes the call to Kilt.

"Kilt! Dammit, don't let it go to voice mail! Don't-- Ugh. ... Hey, slowpoke! We're waiting for you at Wanda's. You get lost or something? Anyway, we're here, so either call us at this number or get here. Remember, you're buying. Oh, and Moxie's in charge. Bye."

Midterms successfully slayed. Now just the normal homework and essays for a while.

Siphon, you were a defense attorney?

It was hard sometimes to set everything in motion. She had her audience primed, the date for the training session was ready, and she had even nabbed a twitch stream with the ever fun-to-make-mad Kilt. Excuse me. THE Kilt.

But as her drones went offline and flew back to their charging stations, Twitch found herself....alone.

Huh. The silence was odd to her.

But this was easily remedied.

"Alright, what did Kilt need me to do...go find some kid?" She finds the text and, weaving together a light suit, starts sliding away towards the hospital, trying to track this Conner kid.

At Wanda's

Missy would definitely recognize Wanda. She wouldn't retire for 10 years after Missy was drawn into the present. And Adam was on his 5th iteration for the majority of Missie's life. His design has changed some, his dermal covering has become much more realistic, and his cyberpunk phase is over, but Missy would still recognize him.

Welcome to Wanda's Adam says. Inside, a number of people already sitting in the cramped restaurant. the scent of dozens of dishes, curry and borscht and hamburgers all feature in the olfactory tapastry.

a young man, who Siphon would know to be the unmasked identity of Rook, a villainous Psychometrist, sits at a booth alone. Hey, Val, over here! he calls out, indicating the abundant seating near him..

Siphon hangs up the phone and saunters over to sit across from Rook. "Hey, babe! Read any good trinkets lately?" She gives him a soft smile, but stays wary because she's still unsure if the word has gotten out to every one of her former acquaintances.

"I know, mom," starts Amir. "And I will. I'll see you all sometime soon; I'll let you know when I'm off. Have a good night... Love you too." He hangs up.

The 'prioritizing family' comment came out of nowhere, but she was right. Amir had been a little too focused on work as of late. That, and well, the whole superheroing thing. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to sit down with them and have a bit of family time.

Amir is taken aback by Manifest's hostility. The guy was sensitive and emotional. It didn't take much to push his buttons. And this time, Amir wasn't even trying.

"Dude, whoa. Just chill out, man. I was trying to be sarcastic." This was true, Amir hadn't meant anything negative against his friends with what he said earlier. "I'm sorry if it came out the wrong way."

I'll choose to 'air your grievances'.

"But honestly, if you're asking..." Amir crosses his arms. "I don't have anything against Kilt here. And I don't think him, or me, or any of the girls are even capable of doing something like this." He gestures towards the alley. "But you? Man, I believe you; I know you didn't do this; I'm in for whatever kind of investigation you guys are planning. But with your powers and these kind of outburts? I tend to get pretty freakin' worried."

His upper body tenses up, uneasy around an angry, shouty Manifest. Wisps of sand begin to low-key whip around Amir's feet. It all corresponded with Amir's mounting courage. There were things that needed to be said, or at least, things he wanted to say.

"You're going to hurt someone. Bad. No 'ifs', just a matter of 'when'. And since Siphon is living at your place, I'm actually scared for her. Like alot. I mean it." Amir shakes his head. "Like, I don't get it, dude. I wish you'd just go cool off or something. You're all jumpy, you start yelling for no reason, and you get angry at the drop of a hat."

Aaaah, I'm hating this. Wish Manifest and Amir could get along better. Sadly I don't think that's going to happen any time soon D:

@The Kilt: Amir is genuine about his concerns, but most of all he wants Manifest away from Siphon, which is what this is really all about. You're sure Amir likes her.

For the record, Manifest doesn't frequently shout. Harsh tone, maybe raise his voice a bit, but most times he's not outright yelling until I break the caps out. Usually it's more rant-y than anything with an occasional sarcastic edge. At least, that's how I imagine it.

As Amir speaks, Manifest is less blatantly hostile, but the tension in his body only increases.
"...tell me something I don't know, Amir, because I'm sick of hearing everything I do. I'm sure this is very personal to you, but honestly? Your concerns are not unique, they're not special, and they're certainly not anything I've never heard."

Something clicks, and Manifest meets Amir's gaze, cold fury in his eyes. "But this isn't all, is it? I mean, come on Amir, I'm not completely oblivious. We barely bloody know each other. We met not that long ago, and we've barely interacted since then. You're saying...what again? I yell for no reason? I'm prone to outbursts? I'm quick to anger, and I'm jumpy? I can give you the last one, but your basis for the others is basically just today. And what else can I point out?"

"...oh, yeah!" With a little rummaging about, Manifest pulls out the water bottle. It's still full. "Remember when I was leaving? I don't appreciate being manhandled, you know. Most people don't. I think you know that. Still, you rushed me out of the door and shoved water I can't drink in my hand, before prodding me about my problems. When I was already stressed, too. I don't know whether it'd be worse if you had or hadn't noticed that." He tosses it in the air, before a massive hand shoots out of the air and pulls it into the ether. "Doesn't matter either way. It was a s&~&ty thing to do, and I'm pretty sure you knew that. I hope so, at least."

Manifest breaks gaze and makes sure his mask is securely in place before tugging on his hood to hide his eyes, leaving only the metal in view. "You were being selfish, Amir. Not a lot wrong with that. It's when you let that cross into being a dick that you f#&*ed up. I don't know if that's common for you - I don't know you, you only did it once, and I'm not about to make assumptions. But I really, really hope it's not something you make a habit of when nobody's looking."

I feel like there's a label shift in there somewhere, since I have influence. I just don't know what it is.

Manifest shakes his head. "This is not what I should be wasting time on. Any of us, even. I'm going to go look for the electro before this gets out of hand." Tugging at his hood again to ensure Amir only sees his mask, Manifest walks off to start searching.

Apparently that gets more looks these days than not having a home. Lucky they're a bit cheaper. Twitch is going to hook me up with a brand deal so I can get a good one for free. I guess so I don't get any crank calls on it? I dunno. I'm tempted to get a flop-phone, so I know how to use it, but the phone-eye things look rad. I've seen a satphone, and I get that it's, like, sending microwaves or whatever like a TV, but I saw someone watching movies on one. In color! I'm telling you, Adam-9, you'll be able to get replacement parts from your local Radio Shack soon..."

Now that you say, I definitely think it's a Saviour hit. After that...actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Danger would be a solid fit, come to think.
The main sentiment is basically about being callous. About knowing that what you're doing is hurtful, that it's insulting and degrading, that it's damaging to other people, and just not caring enough to not do it. That for all he talked about how I'm going to hurt someone badly, he's already proven himself capable of doing that too - and more importantly, has proven himself far more willing to hurt people like that. So following that logic, +Danger/-Saviour, maybe?

Also - Moxie and Manifest? Amir's the obvious one to make up with, but I'm wondering what the role of Moxie's friendship is as far as preventing catastrophe goes.

In Masks, the default is that the Team has been together for some time, as in months or a year. Are we doing differently, and I somehow missed it? Have our characters literally just met today? If so I'd say a retcon is in order, because I've been operating under the assumption that Manifest and Amir have known each other for a while.

Male Nova | Danger 1 | Freak 3 | Saviour 1 | Superior 0 | Mundane -2 | Angry, Afraid, Guilty, Insecure | Burn: 0 | Two Worlds: 0 | ○●Potential●○ --- ●●●●○ | 1 Advancement

I'd kinda assumed, based on the opening. I mean, the report on our fight first aired today, and unless there's a blind spot for me here, I really wouldn't expect that the report would happen too long after the actual fight. Our fight wasn't that big, this stuff happens all the time, and we really just aren't that relevant anyway.
I'd give it a maybe a day or two, but I really wouldn't say more than that. Even if I was being generous, I wouldn't think more than a week.

Yeah, I think we're doing it a bit different. I don't think that precludes Amir and Manifest having known each other, though. Our "coming together" event involved Siphon's big heel-face turn and the rest of the team meeting up. But it totally makes sense that you two could have had a couple team-ups in the past, or even worked with each other on a regular basis.

Just did some reading through the gameplay and the discussion to figure this out. The 'first fight' corresponds directly to the 'when our team first came together' questions, so you guys are right, we are doing differently and not following the Masks norm of the team having been together for a while. Sorry for missing this D:

So a retcon is definitely in order... Because, like I said, from the beginning I've been operating under the assumption that Amir has known the team for quite a while.

Hey, no worries. It's fine.
Still, how much retconning is going to happen here? Does there even need to be much? The motivations and some of the other surrounding details might change, but most of what you've done will probably still make sense.

I don't think we need to much. From what we've done so far the team dynamic will most likely not change too much. There needs to be enough that we want to stay a team (whatever the reason) but there's enough minutia to have different levels of investment between relationships.

Siphon's dark eyes narrow at Rook when he asks about it feeling better on the other side. She hadn't heard that people say it was better, but that might have just been her parent's influence. "I don't know. I'll tell you once I've saved my first bystander. Why? You a little curious yourself?"

His attention returns to the call. "Okay look Brat, just make it quick. Me and the Stupendous Sand Boner here still have to find-" He's interrupted by an alert that he has received a new voicemail. "...G%$ d$#n CELL RECPETION!"

@Elsine, glad to see Wanda's is working out for you! Thanks for letting me do that! :D

I was working off the impression that we had formed up for the first time the previous night, as the news had had enough time to gather info and arrange an interview with Dante.

The Doomed

Condition(s): None

Folding his arms, Amir resigns himself to merely listening. Doing and saying nothing as Manifest and The Kilt blast him. Their words hurt. They hurt a lot.

Take A Powerful Blow: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
Miss. Marking Potential. 0/5 -> 1/5

He hadn't done anything wrong or anything bad. Those two were jerks, and they said things that Amir felt was very unfair. Screw them. Amir again and again dropped everything to help these guys, even now he had rushed over here.

Shaking his head in disgust, Amir turns and goes the opposite direction from Manifest, away from The Kilt and the scene. He literally storms off, as his pile of sand whips around and speeds him away in an roiling cloud of sand.

Not rejecting my influence, Amir?
Also..."again and again dropped everything"? Assuming that you're not still assuming a significant history here, that does kinda confuse me.

The Doomed

Elsine did not confirm a label shift in their last update, so there's unfortunately nothing for me to reject :( In the interim I've decided to have Amir take a powerful blow to show that the words had some effect, just to keep things running smoothly and quick.

Manifest is calling Amir a bad person, which would seem to trigger an Influence label shift because he's telling Amir WHO HE IS. However, Manifest's point seems to be more on the lines of telling Amir that it isn't alright to say these things to someone you've just met, and that Amir's actions are negative, which might also be seen as triggering an Influence label shift because he's telling Amir HOW THE WORLD WORKS. So which labels would be shifted? Not to mention, if Manifest is saying this all to hurt Amir, then Take Advantage of Influence would be triggered instead.

Ah, and yes, apologies. I've messed up again. I am very used to The Team in any Masks game having been together for some time. Still not sure what to do for retconnage. Maybe Amir is insane? Or from the future, like a reverse Miss Moxie? Haha.

I thought I confirmed the +superior, -savior shift. musta forgotten

as for retcon.... instead of something convoluted, maybe just pretend the inconsistencies didn't happen, and move forward as if our current understanding is as it has always been

It's easy to argue interpretations. But one thing that we can be fairly sure of no matter what is that this is one hell of a mess.

I have to admit, I did not expect something like this right out of the door. This promises to be interesting.
Assuming Paizo gets its act together...I swear, the shenanigans with the site right now are seriously getting on my nerves.

Went back and reread Amir's posts, and I see that what was probably intended on being some blunt interactions based on a relaxed familiarity, ended up sounding rather obnoxious. But I don't think it's that huge of a mess as long as we get a few things worked out.
I still suggest the idea that Kilt, Amir and Manifest teamed up a few times. That would help ease what's currently sounding rather caustic at the moment.
Then I'd suggest that Amir and Siphon fought at one point -- nothing serious, and she never drained him, though they engaged in some playful banter -- but that could have laid the groundwork for his current infatuation with her. Thoughts?

You've hit the nail on the head, Siphon :) I couldn't put it better myself, "blunt interactions based on a relaxed familiarity" is exactly what I was going for. I might not have even chosen Manifest as one of Amir's Influences if I had realized that we were going to start with the Team having got together only a day or so ago. It sucks that my mistake have ended up with Amir being considered obnoxious and creating a caustic relationship between Amir and Kilt and Manifest D: Which is why I'd like some sort of retcon and why I don't want to gloss over this as Elsine suggested.

I wouldn't mind the three of them having teamed up in the past, but that would require acceptance between all three of us and lots of backstory writing. So here's what I'm going to go with...

RETCON: False Connection
Amir doesn't just watch Twitch's streams for the latest superhero happenings, he also keeps an eye on the news and various other media outlets. And although the chat on Twitch's streams is where he's most active, Amir does participate in superhero discussions on other sites, whether they be the comments on an article, blog post, video, or on a forum. Mainly these are Panurgic-based and on Panurgic heroes. After all, in Panurgic, everyone has an opinion on every super, and 'super' news and gossip is constantly flying around, making these sorts of chats and discussions very active.

One particular hero that often gets talked about is the "Local Supermage", Manifest. Some call him a spirit or outsider, others a boy, and there are even those who say that he's actually a cleverly-disguised girl. Whatever Manifest is though, there's loads of criticism and rumors ('facts') surrounding him and his powers. You could easily pull up a book's worth of stuff on this guy.

Which is why Amir, a long time participant in Manifest-related discussions, feels like he's known Manifest for a long time. He's very pro-Manifest and is quick to jump into anti-Manifest flame threads to defend the hero. This is also why, upon meeting Manifest, instead of being starstruck, he thrusts forward the usual criticisms, in an attempt to 'fix' Manifest in a sense and make Panurgic see him as a beloved hero like he deserves. Of course, while Amir sees himself as an old friend of Manifest's, he's obviously only just met the guy. This obviously makes Manifest not so appreciative of Amir's efforts, as to him he's just some nobody jerk who thinks he knows him.

And Manifest isn't the only one. Amir is also a frequent online defender of Twitch, The Kilt, Miss Moxie, Siphon, and many other young heroes. He might never admit this to anyone though, as he does this all under his internet username NeverEndingLove, which he also uses to talk about many personal details (his doom, for instance) that he doesn't want anyone to connect to him (because it'd bring his doom closer). Amir has, however, admitted that he's NeverEndingLove to Twitch, which was kind of an impulse decision. Time will tell whether that will come back to haunt him.

@Siphon The above retcon might suffice as a reason for why Amir is totally head-over-heels for Siphon, but I'm still totally up for them having met in the past. Up to you :)

@Elsine +Superior and -Saviour then, got it. I'll accept the Label change (Superior: -1 > +0 ; Savior: +1 > +0).

Male Nova | Danger 1 | Freak 3 | Saviour 1 | Superior 0 | Mundane -2 | Angry, Afraid, Guilty, Insecure | Burn: 0 | Two Worlds: 0 | ○●Potential●○ --- ●●●●○ | 1 Advancement

Oh my god, Amir is a fanboy. And from the looks of it, a pretty hardcore one.
This is hilarious, and I completely approve.

On things happening in the past:
As far as having past events set up relationships and in this instance, ease tension, there'd really need to be some significant social interaction, the sort that's hard to get to happen when everything is on fire, the same kid nearly got killed three times and the fourth attempt's coming in fast, and everything's striving to ensure you're getting the crap beaten out of you.
And as I intend to show more as time goes on, social tends to be a special kind of hell for Siegfried. As such, I wouldn't see that happening.
As it stands, Kilt's the only one on the team that I imagine would have interacted much with Siegfried, even if that is basically because he bludgeoned his way into his life. Everyone else might have worked with him before, but he wouldn't have been much for conversation, and he probably bailed after whatever they were teaming up for was done.

I'm open to team-ups or whatever past event with whoever wants to establish one, but expect Siegfried to be seriously awkward when the focus isn't on the job.
Things that happened when you met him while he had the mask off might be fun too. He can't just angel-poof away from those, after all - it'd give away who he is.

"Listen, kilt boy, I tracked down the guy you're after, you want to talk to him or not? Otherwise, I'm going to meet up with the others."

Twitch is starting to get peeved with Kilt's 'yell first' mentality.

Amir, I'm not sure but I feel there's you're going to have a mental conflict with who Twitch plays and who she 'truly' is. Should be fun.

Loving this thing with Kilt, Amir and manifest, I'm not ignoring it, just letting it play out

Moxy

a few people give you the stinkeye whne The mime comes up A lock that would thwart the Mime would be an exceptional lock indeed. mY first suggestion would be to accept housing with Justice force... but I understand you don't want that. My other idea would be to contact the cape-shelter on Federal street. it is staffed by former heroes, and specializes in assisting people who have reason to believe that they may be attacked by supers. he prints of a informational pamphlet. now, what would you like to eat?

TWitch/Kilt

Who are you? why are you in my room? the boy asks, loud enough to be heard on the other end ofthe phone. what do you do?

Siphon

Ah, yeah. never really had much famiy support, myself, but at least that my cash is mine. Rook says. Can I buy you a milkshake or something? he says, flashing a wad of bills, almost certainly pickpocketed, or drained from someones account

Sounds good. A lot of people just can't wait to talk about it after their first time. he smirksI bet Moxie would love this guy

Keep playing along with Rooks word-games and volley back with double entendre , and you will have influence.

He's gonna keep doing what he's doing, using his power to drain accounts and philander his way through the female population of Panurgic... he's not a supervillain, just a criminal.

Umm...I went off to find the electro, Amir just stormed off in the opposite direction, seemingly without any other plans than getting away from us when he did so, and Kilt's been left behind in the alleyway with a call from Twitch. The conflict isn't done, but I'd say the scene is.
Issue of if Kilt is going to keep the call up and talk with Jake aside, we could do with an update.

Siphon smiles and bats her dark eyelashes. "I would love a milkshake, thank you."

She crosses her legs in her seat and hangs one arm over the back while they wait for her drink to be brought out. "Make sure I have your number and I'll tell you all about the first time I rescue a kitty from a tree. It might inspire you to save a pussy cat of your own."

When her milkshake arrives, she picks it up and sensuously plays with the straw, delighting in how it's making Rook stare.

Siphon takes a moment to glance around the diner and notice that none of her other teammates have arrived yet. Not letting any annoyance -- or concern -- show on her face, she leans in to Rook. "Do me a favor? Can you call up Twitch's feed real quick on your device?"

Moxie takes the printout ('Wow! In color too!') "Oh, shoot, gotta jet. Looks like my friend needs help. Later 'gator." Folding the printout around the Polaroids, and tucking it all back into the waistband of her tights, Moxie hops over to the end of Rook's and Siphon's table.

"What's taking the Kilt so long? Adam's gonna blow a gasket asking for my order. -who's the cutie? Someone I should know?" She didn't really care, but it looked like Siphon was working him over, and Moxie figured an extra tuchus on the table couldn't hurt.

Siphon scoots over to let Moxie sit on her side of the table. She passes the completely full milkshake to her for a sip while putting an arm around her.

"Moxie, this is Rook. Rook, this is Miss Moxie. The real blast from the past." She runs a finger up and down Moxie's cheek and gives Rook a sultry stare.

"Rook's got a way to read the past of objects. Uses it to get rich. Isn't that right, hon?"

The Doomed

What do I want to happen? :D Well, I was waiting for a post from Kilt, for any reaction to Amir booking it *rubs hands together* But I suppose the plot must move on. I'd like for Amir to be on the same page as the rest of the Team, and get involved.

Amir is currently the least informed of the whole group. He still has no idea why everyone spontaneously went on a race, where they went, or what's going on now. What he does know was told to him by Manifest in-between their squabbling, which wasn't very much. There's someone with electric powers running around who doesn't have the best control of them, and they're maybe a bad guy.

Male Nova | Danger 1 | Freak 3 | Saviour 1 | Superior 0 | Mundane -2 | Angry, Afraid, Guilty, Insecure | Burn: 0 | Two Worlds: 0 | ○●Potential●○ --- ●●●●○ | 1 Advancement

Manifest isn't entirely focused as he enters the vicinity. "...I mean, the hell, Amir. I'm dealing with as it is without...hmm?" Manifest looks to his side, drawn out from his muttering. "What is it...oh. You're right. Thanks, Uramidt. Would've missed that."

With a sigh, Manifest tries to shut down the ever-expanding analysis of Amir's actions that's running rampant in his mind and looks over the transformer, before looking over to the seemingly still powered building. "Kilt said to look for unpowered buildings, but...s@*@, Kilt. I just left him there with Amir. Bloody hell, now he's got to deal with..." He pauses. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Can't focus on that now."

A yellow glow comes from Manifest's sleeves as he repeats the same set of motions several times, tracing repetitive shapes in the air while trying not to wince too hard. Each sigil was to call up a pixie, to scout the area and tell him where the electro was if they were here.
Unleash: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 3) + 1 = 9
Unstable or Temporary.
In his distracted state, though, he botched the calling sigils. Even if he did get pixies, he was sure to have problems with them.
Not that he actually noticed his mistake in his current state.
"Come on...I need to someone found, and I need it done fast. Can you do that for me? Please?"
