How to use Defense Points:
Each of you has gained a pool of points equal to 1/2 the total Defense Points earned during preparations. At any time, you may choose to spend a number of these points as an immediate action. They can be added to any single attack or damage roll, ability or skill check, saving throw, or can be used to grant you a dodge bonus to your AC. Points used only apply to a single roll, and do not otherwise last until your next action. More than 1 point may be spent on a roll, with a maximum equal to your level. You must decide to use your Defense Points in this way when you announce your action and before you make the roll the bonus will apply to. Once spent, points from this pool cannot be replenished.

Seeign the levels you're all currently at, I expect we'll play all three scenario's at subtier 1-2.

think I'll stick with S'arkee.

The item wouldn't last too long on this character as it doesn't give too much of a bonus. I ddi update him on Herolab and printed new stuff and on my item tracking sheet, but don't think I've updated my profile on here yet.

At the start not everyone always asks questions... so I didn't really miss a post from you...

Combat was triggered by the 2nd person to post something, and over after the first attack... And I still didn't realize it, as it all went pretty fast...

And only just now did I wonder "Why is S'arkee not posting?" Well guess why... :S

Anyway, you're a member of this party and we've barely done anything. So dive right in when you're done updating, and I'll wait for you to post before updating the next bit!

Is handle animal a legal skill?

Since aside from Craft and Profession, bards can use their Perform.

You'll find in the guide that you can only use trained Craft, Profession and Performs checks as Day Jobs.

There are vanities that unlock other skill checks for Day Jobs, including one for Handle Animal, but you'll first have to spend the appropriate amount of PP to get those vanities.

Can i switch my rank of intimidate to profession Tracker/Hunter?

As a level 1 character you can still switch thing up, but not mid-scenario. When this scenario's over and you've received your chronicle sheet, then you may make adjustments to your character's stats.

Are we already at mid-scenario?

I can understand however, but if the GM is merciful and considering 22 posts only still beginning.... ;)

With mid-scenario I mean we're in the midst of it. Meaning, we're playing the scenario and you can't change your character's stats while playing in a scenario.

You'll have to wait till the scenario's concluded, which is after you've received a chronicle sheet for it.

I...am having flashbacks, to when i ran it. The paladin was soaking up much of the dmg in a specific room. StephNyan remembers it.

lol, well he'd be first level so I doupt he'd soak up much damage. Hmm...would love to play the Magus as he's quite hilarious.

That was my first one, actually.

@Negi: It's replayable for credit, as long as you play it with a 1st level character that hasn't yet played it.

Rolan and S'arkee have been placed on the list for Fallen Fortress. Along with Theron, who was already on there.

For those who aren't aware of it: PFS has Faction Journal Cards since the 13th of April. It's definitely worth checking out, 'cause you can get all kinds of cool boons for your characters! :)

I completely forgot it during last combat phase, but Negi and S'arkee you're still fatigued from altitude sickness. When you make Str or Dex based rolls, could you make this visible in your modifiers? Then I know you're keeping the condition in mind.

Here's an example of what I mean: Lance, -1 Fatigued: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 4 - 1 = 22 Damage, -1 Fatigued: 1d6 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 - 1 = 4
