Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Folio reroll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Well shoot.
Anthys, blinded temporarily, readies his shield.
Balcony is just 10' up? If so, he'll jump back down, even if doing so provokes. Blinded in single combat against a well-prepared opponent is a bad place to be.
Since it seems likely to matter, a search of Berato's posts for the word "Channel" suggests he has used 3 in this module. One on the skulks, two in the Robella fight. One post labeled as a channel had dice as a CLW. If the skulks were today, then he has 2 left.

![]() |

CLW one is indeed a CLW not a channel... so 2 left hey? ok cool...
Berato moves next to Vindler to form a Shield Wall and imposes Touch of Good upon the dwarf!
Vindler: +1 sacred bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws for 1 round.

Skulks were yesterday. Yep, 10 feet down, so with intentional jump no fall damage.
Slash!: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8
Anthys, blinded, rolls backward off the rail, pulling an attack from the other him, which scores a long line just under his armor.

I think there's an extra -2 penalty for being blind. Unless that's the +2 in the attack roll already?
Marcus places a hand on the rope and looks up, preparing to follow Anthys. Moments later, Marcus side steps as Anthys comes hurtling back down to the ground level. "Anthys! What happened?" Marcus positions his shield on his arm and draws a dagger, taking up a guard position next to Anthys to give him a chance to recover.

GM Fez |

Thanks for the well wishes guys. The mod is almost over, you basically short-circuited the adventure by catching Robella. Marcus has the right of it, blinded drops your AC an additional 2.
The men around the stairs all pull up shortbows except for one. That one rushes forward and throws a small packet at Vindlér's feet.

So he's got a different extra +2 in the attack roll. Okay.
Anthys should have the blindness wear off just before Borvius' turn, and is now adjacent to allies, so he is in a much better situation.

Vindlér smashes ribs and cracks a spine. His opponent begins looking at the doors a few feet away and tries sidling towards them, coughing once or twice.
'Anthys' up top sheathes one of his swords, stepping toward the window and drawing a dagger. He laughs as he throws it down toward the real Anthys.

So that does not confirm due to the Shield Wall from Marcus? Even so, Anthys has been taking a lot of damage lately. Time to upgrade to fullplate.
Anthys double moves to get closer to where Berato and Vindlér are. This splitting up was a bad idea.

Not even gonna bother with confirming that since he's down from the regular damage.
Satisfied with the sound of the thug hitting the ground with a groan, Vindlér raises grasps the gilded key at his neck and raises it up to show the remaining ruffians. "You see this, lads? This Key is the sign of Abadar, who judges all things justly. Now, I don't know the measure of your lives, but Abadar does, and if you're not worthy, there's a good chance you'll lose those lives tonight. BEWARE!" A pulse of golden light ripples out from the Key, enveloping the entire room, and casting a pall of fear over the rogues.

I'm also good with moving as a group. If we're all delayed to the same initiative count, we can each move up and ready an action to do something once the others get in range if we need to effectively split our move/standard action so we take them all together (Marcus will need to do this, at least, to Aid since he has to be adjacent to both the target and the person he's aiding).
We probably want to rotate our square here, I think? It sounds like one of them is next to the pillar, so I'm thinking Anthys on top of the C1, Vindler to his right, Marcus below Anthys, and Berato next to Marcus/below Vindler?
If that's good, Marcus will move diagonally up one and ready an action to aid Anthys if there is an enemy directly to the left of the C1 spot both of them can reach. Otherwise, Marcus will keep in formation wherever we go and take a total defense action.

Moved the block as per the plan. Anthys moves NE, NE, NW to avoid the AOO. If the enemy has readied attacks, order of movement would be Vindlér, as he said he was leading the advance, then Berato (so when Anthys moves up he gets Heart of the Streets), then Anthys, then Marcus.
Once more in the shield wall with his allies around him, Anthys attacks his impostor. His impostor who is a dual-wielding showboat who somehow has managed to hit him twice. Anthys is wary of this man.

This is what happens when you're kicking yourself for not getting things up in a timely manner.
Vindlér's attack pulls the bowman's arm out of line and nearly shatters the forearm. The bowman starts looking for escape as the last man did.
He rushes past his friends and allies when 'Anthys' takes a swing at him, a look of disgust on his face, "Don't flee you fool! We outnumber them two to one!"
Opportunity!: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
He tumbles behind the false Anthys who seems tired of staying in that form, allowing it to drop. He stretches his neck and shoulders, hands still firmly on his weapons, "Gods it was awful being in that skin. Much happier to be in mine." The bowmen fire off another two arrows at what appears to be the most lightly armored member of the party, Marcus.
Orange Fire!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Yellow Fire!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Slash!: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 = 14

Anthys' return attack cuts deeply into Borvius whose face shifts an entire spectrum of colors, finally ending on a ruby red, darker than the blood he continues to spill. "What have you done with my wife?" he growls between clenched teeth.

I think the map might be slightly out of date. The blue thug moved around us and got hit with the two AOOs+Berato's strike, so he's down, right? And Borvius is stepped back a square so not in Marcus' current reach? Also, Orange is currently shooting at us with a bow, not a melee weapon so probably isn't threatening squares? If I got this right, Marcus will do the following.
As Berato crushes the man who tumbled behind the shield line, Marcus pivots and steps forward to try and sweep the legs out from under the bowman while maintaining the shield wall with Berato.
