Despite it being engaged in combat with Duath, Hudor blasts the green uniformed zombie with some positive energy, catching its attention.
Shukara unleashes a flurry on the blue one, cutting it deeply, though it continues to shuffle forward, seeking to eat her.
Duath staggers back a step.
Duath, you cannot take a 5' and a move in the same turn. You can't withdraw, because it's a full-round action. Any standard action and you'd take 1 hp of dmg and collapse. so best-case scenario defensively is that you could take a 5' step back, and you still have a move-equivalent action available to you (pull out potion, or whatever). But you cannot 5' and move. I'll assume you did the 5', and feel free to retro-add a move action

Zeebo-bot cries, "Die, you filthy unnatural beast! and lashes out with his scimitar before taking a 5' step back toward his injured colleague.

The Green one moans threateningly then charges at the thing that hurt him: Hudor!
The other two also attack their tormentors who damaged them: The red one steps forward and attacks the gnome, while the blue one attempts to clobber the monk.

Hudor, while casting defensively means the spell itself doesn't provoke, making a range attack, whether by weapon or spell, does provoke an AoO. Feel free to take a different action if you prefer.

Duath restores himself to health while Skakura's second attack finishes off the blue zombie, clearing the way for your halfling compatriot to come aboard.

Uses 10' of movement for the first five feet of coming aboard, Morka.

While both Morka and Hudor manage to strike home with their attacks, they make the frustrating discovery that the zombie's doughy dead flesh absorbs much, if not all of the damage they inflict.

Flaith-bot climbs through the gunport and moves up to the zombie in the red uniform and attacks, cutting deeply from the shoulder to the opposite hip, sending the creature to its final rest.

The lone remaining Zombie attacks Hudor once again, nearly pounding the sorcerer into unconsciousness.

After the last zombie goes down, Hudor pulls out a potion from his pack and imbibes it.

When more undead join them, he frowns on what to do. He has a nice spell that could target all three but would mean he would have to get close to them. He decides to risk it and steps closer to the undead, spreading his right hand out, he suddenly sends out a wave of freezing water in a torrent at the undead.

Shukara deals a strong blow to the green zombie. The undead reel from the elemental assaults unleashed by the wizard and the druid. The Captain is none-too-thrilled with the frost in his beard, so he nods his thanks to Zeebo for melting it. The fire seems to have no effect on him. But both zombies are injured by both spells, and the green one succumbs to his wounds.

Morka shouts out, "Use bludgeoning or slashing weapons on the captain!"

Using the distraction of elemental miasma washing over your foes, Morka lays down a patch of grease under the two remaining enemies, both of whom find the assault just too much to withstand...and too much to remain standing. Both fall prone in the slippery grease.

Even with the captain being prone, Duath's arrow strikes home. Despite the arrow rattling around bit loosely as it sinks home, it wounds the captain severely. The paladin strides up and--using the undead captain's prone position to her advantage--Flaith finishes him off.

The one remaining zombie, not being the brightest creature, decides to stand up to get an easier attack at his foes food.

Flaith seizes upon the opportunity and strikes, cleaving the creature's head clean off. The threat of The Lioness and her crew is no more.

AoO v prone: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

SUCCESS! The party now has a choice to go face the demon hordes...or take on the Captain of the next higher tier. Understand that the latter would be extremely dangerous. I'd want the entire party to agree to taking that on, whereas rule of 2 if you want to face the demon hordes on the Cairnlands (which would be tier appropriate foes)

"Those arrows are quite effective. I believe it is time to deal with the other threat if our allies haven't already beat back the demon hordes." Duath says picking up his blade and knocking the dust off. When he is sure no one is looking he rubs his head where the other zombie nearly knocked him senseless.

You hop upon your hippocampus mounts and take advantage of your ability to breathe underwater and zip towards the shore past the remaining wrecks of the Graveyard. You startle Captain Sevana Kinhan of the Wave Riders as you burst up from under the surf practically at her feet. When you inform her of your defeat of Captain Saltbain and the undead crew of The Lioness, she congratulates you heartily, recommending you make haste for the Cairnlands, where the defenders of Absalom have need of your assistance.

As you approach the Petal district, a brass horn sounds a warning signal in the distance. A moment later, a Captain of the First Guard shouts for her force to ready for impact—a command that guards relay up and down the wall. A dark swarm of thousands of strangely misshapen creatures charges, throwing themselves against the stone walls and clambering over each other to reach the top. Despite many volleys of arrows raining down and boiling oil poured on them, the stubborn fiend-flesh creatures press on. In multiple places along the ramparts, soldiers of the First Guard have to draw their swords and engage the creatures in melee. Here and there, groups of nightmarish creatures spill through the line of defense. A nearby captain spies your party as it arrives. "You there, take out those creatures on the ramparts up there." He points at four strange looking humans that glow with an eerie unearthly light. they float above the ramparts, their feet hovering inches above the stone.

Two of them are able to charge the gnome druid and attack. Zeebo takes a hard blow and finds himself covered in a horrifying goo.

Sorry about the confusing post above; I missed the GM's instructions... basically Shukara mentioned the resistance to piercing and bludgeoning, and advises everyone to use slashing weapons.
