Merisiel furrows her brow, looking over the fight.
"I've got an idea," she says as she begins to move backward into the hallway, ducking to avoid the daemon's attack. "If we lure it into the hallways, it'll have to stop flying. It's simply too big." She directs her words to the daemon, adopting a childish taunt, "Aren't you, you little bugger. You should've laid off the all-you-can-eat soul buffet a little."
With a glance at Amiri, Merisiel mutters under her breath, "Dear gods, whoever'll watch us, please let Amiri see past her anger."

If it doesn't follow us we can at least undo the work the cultists have done and perform the ritual to Erastl" Sajan winks at Merisiel as he mentions the ritual while moving into the hall towards the altar room.
hopefully the fiend knows as little about the ritual as I do, or it might just decide to wait it out and ambush us when we leave. Our best hope is to lure it into the halls where we can engage it and negate it's movement advantage

Padrig strikes the entangled daemon with his tail. It hisses it's fury back at the protean.
Merisiel, Sajan, and Padrig all move into the hallway.
Balazar moves to the edge of the courtyard (you couldn't see the daemon from where you were because it was flying 30 ft. up.) and fires magical bolts of force at the creature, damaging it.
Seeing its quarry run back into the hallway, the ceustodaemon teleports back into the inner sanctum. (It is on the ground.)

Balazar knows that these daemons only speak Abyssal and Infernal. You can talk freely in Common without it understanding you. I only had it return to the Inner Sanctum because it is smart enough (Int 11) to see that was the direction you are all running. This also gives you guys another chance to engage it in melee.

Merisiel pants at the end of the battle, taking a moment to recover. In the past minute or two, she had run laps nearly, while also jumping and striking. Her muscles ached, but she maintained a wary eye on the daemon's body. I've seen these things come back to life one too many times. Better make sure it's really dead.
"Hey, Muscles" she said after a moment, "and Fists, good work. Thanks for, you know, not letting me die. You too, Eyebrows. You and your chicken dinner helped out. You really did. I'm happy to have been forged in battle with you."

She throws her sword into a wall, the smack of the massive metal weight against the stone reverberating throughout the hall.
She then leans against a pillar, using it to help slide her down into a seated position.
"'Magnificent killer?' You're damn right."
She holds up a fist, placing her other hand on the bicep.
"Don't know what you guys woulda done without me. I guess...you didn't do so bad yourselves."

I apologize for the delay. The last two days were spent doing a lot of traveling, and so I could only post from my phone. Thank you for being patient.
With great might, Amiri delivers the killing blow to the creature, but it took teamwork to bring it down.
Once you have defeated the ceustodaemon and the fiendish rams, the forest grows quiet, and the statue of Anogetz crumbles.
Destroying the daemon permanently weakens the temple’s connection to Anogetz; when several other priests of Erastil arrive a day later to investigate, they are able to banish the daemonic presence entirely rather than just seal it away. Without needing the spear of the huntmaster to anchor the ritual wards, the Erastilians give it to the Pathfinder Society in thanks for your heroism.
THE END
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
I have enjoyed running this game a great deal. I hope you all had fun. :)
Below are details for the chronicle and the items therein. PM me if you have any questions.
Please PM me with you character number once you decide who to apply it to so that I may report it to the GameDay organizers.
Legacy Weapons
The two legacy items that are available on this chronicle grow in power with you. The trade-off is that you need to pay a portion of your wealth after each future scenario to gain that power. You only need to pay this if you buy the weapon. I have looked into how much gold is involved, and it is just about right for a magic item of its power level at each level. It is simply a different approach to magic items that shows up in Pathfinder Unchained.
The Quest
Here is the quest. You can download it for free. I will leave my maps up and available for you for a little while. If you want to run this quest, you may use anything that I put onto the map page. You can PM me if you have any other questions.
