Hey Kysh! Didn't realize that was you. Looks like we'll have two warpriests - this is my first time playing one, should be interesting.

Yup, I am stepping out from behind the GM screen more. This is my first warpriest as well, he's a high functioning alcoholic that fights with two kukris.

Someone in one of my other games came up with the idea of doing character introduction to kill time, and to get to know each other's characters a bit. I quite like that idea :) There's nothing to post about my character though. So I'll just post a bit about myself:

My name's Stephan, and I'm from The Netherlands. I've been playing Pathfinder for over a year now, mostly PbP. I started GMing PbP games about half a year ago.

The games I currently run are Curse of the Crimson Throne, and the PFS games Shadow's Last Stand part 2 and Tide of Twilight.

The Glass River Rescue was the first PFS game I ever played, and first Pathfinder game I ever finished. It's fun to look back at the progress of the character I started out with 1 year ago, and now run the game that was her first adventure :)

I'll need to finish my rebuild of Aeris before I can do a proper intro - but as for me: my name's Chris, I live across the bay from San Francisco. I started playing D&D in 1980 or so, with some quiet spells here and there since then. Have been playing PF for about 3 years - and I'm looking forward to your sense of humor (as displayed by Miyako) playing out as you GM this scenario!

My name is Patrick, and I also have a long history of playing, starting with AD&D in 1980. Have actually been out of gaming for probably 10 years or so, and stumbled across PFS about 2 months ago, so I am new to Pathfinder rules. Jumped in, did one late night online game session, and been joining PbP since. Real life keeps me too busy to play for 4-6 hours at a time, but the PbP seems to be working just fine, and I like the PFS format since it keeps things more in bite-sized chunks of adventure!

I am also playing in Stephen's Tide of Twilight game, which has been a blast. I have found the other players to be both entertaining and helpful. I still only have 1st level characters, but I rather enjoy the pace.

I have not done a good job of documenting my characters backgrounds, although I do have their stories in my mind. Many of my characters are related to each other. Inira, for instance, is the half-elf half-sister to Conlaoch (my first level fighter), who is a few years older. Their father traveled to far away lands (Tien), as a missionary and explorer. As such, his children have learned skills and weapons and language from that culture, even though their heritage is much different. So Inira is basically an Irish lass trained as a Monk from exotic lands, and specializes as an archer. She also worked as a healer in the temple she spent many of her formative years.

Being caught between two cultures, she is shy and awkward in social situations, but loyal to her friends and genuinely enjoys helping those less fortunate than herself.

Since I am new, feel free to point out any mistakes I make in rule interpretation or if you see something I could be doing better. I am still learning!

@Aeris: In some scenarios it gets a bit hard to act out NPC characters, because they contain only villains who pop up and are then beaten, but this scenario should give me plenty of opportunities to act out some of the characters ;)

@Inira: That's a cool background! I really like it when people tie their characters together. It creates a much bigger and richer story^^

I was thinking of making a family tree for some of my characters, but most of them are still quite young and busy with their own adventures. So it makes no sense yet to make them settle. Some of the surnames I use for characters, I also use in other games. So I figure I could tie those characters together.

Nice to read you think Tide of Twilight is a blast! And I've seen even people who've been playing Pathfinder from the start learn new things, so don't worry about that ;)

Hi I'm Alex and I'm a game-aholic, it's been about a week since my last game sessionsure if you ignore pbp :cough: I'm British, from Yorkshire and still live there.
This is my 3rd PFS character, though I've not been playing long (despite the low membership number - I joined aaaages ago and never did anything with it).
Been playing RPGs since some time in the early 90s, starting with 1e/2e and moving to 3E, though I currently have a RL group who mostly play 2e again.

Moumoko is Andoran by birth, though her parents are Minkaian, she is white-haired in human form and white furred in fox form. She is irrepressible, impatient and mysterious, spending as much time communing with the intangible as she does with people of flesh and blood. Still she's of good sort, and hates to see people oppressed or monsters rampaging, so she stays mostly on the right track.

Strategy-wise she's fairly fragile, so I'm hoping to stay at the back and work support, though since we seem to have to 2 warpriests, a cleric and an oracle I think I'm probably not going to end up primary healer...

My name is Scott, I live in the SF bay area like Chris (We've met at a few local cons). Except for a few random games over the years I never really got into table top RPGs until 2011. Most of that has been funneled into PFS in the local area. I started PbP about a year ago and have both played and GM'd (Currently in I think 5 games with Stephan and 1 with Chris). I am currently on the the door step for my 5th GM star.

Mads is a bit of a drifter going from one town to the next. Always down for a drink or helping out those in need. He is reckless and fool hardy and a bit rough around the edges, but he'll fight bravely at your side when needed.

I'll be on camp Wednesday - Friday, and the internet connection is rumored to be awful where I'm staying. I'm taking my laptop with me, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to respond to anything you may ask/say while gone.

Okay, Aeris is rebuilt as a warpriest of Milani, quite different from Mads, so we should complement each other just fine. In my weekly FLGS game I played him in a module, so he's actually 2nd level now.

Looking forward to diving into the Glass River (though that sounds like it could be painful...).

The game's up! We'll start the mission itself when everyone's present :)

I'd like everyone, who doesn't yet have it, to post an info bar like this in the 'Race' section of their profiles:
F Tiefling Gunslinger (Musket Master)/2 (HP 18/18 | AC:20 | T:14 | FF:16 | CMB:4 | CMD:17 | Fort:+4 | Ref:+6 | Will:+3 | Init:+3 | Perc:+7 | Speed 30)

It'll give me easy access to your important stats.

FYI - I'll be at a local con starting tonight through the weekend, so my posting will be minimal to nonexistent for that time.

Thanks for letting me know!

Sorry, had a bit of an accident last week, been shaken up and flaked out for the last few days.

No need to apologize when that happens. You okay now?

Yes thank you, no injuries, just shook me up quite a bit plus I think the cold got to me while waiting in the cold for the police to arrive.

Good to know you're at least uninjured! :)

Beginning on Saturday, I'll be on a two-week work trip. I will still be able to post most days, but my schedule, internet access and time zone will all be very different, so posting may be a bit erratic.

If anyone makes the Knowledge check (I don't have it) can you let me know if "Magic Weapon" would be of any benefit to anyone.

Kaddok and Capt. Morgan, I have all your info except the Day Jobs. However, I see in Kaddok's profile that he cannot make a Day Job.

Capt. Morgan, I hope you're okay with me making your Day Job roll? (To round things up faster.)

Day Job Capt. Morgan, Profession (Sailor): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 --> 50gp

Chronicle sheets have been send out.

This thread will stay open for one more day.
