On this quiet summer morning many people are out and about in the town of Allenstead.
DM Kludde
Hakon's asks around about the statue, and despite his awkward attempts, the citizens remain extremely open to talk to him. A strong farmhand takes some time to talk to Hakon and answers Folloch has entrusted us with a sacred task. We must erect a magnificent monument worthy of Razmir’s greatness.
Cartmanbeck's Pregen Alias
Crowe, trying to hide his feelings, still can't help but roll his eyes. "Who has charged you with this sacred task, my friend? We would be interested in speaking to this person, and learning about Razmir's accomplishments."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
DM Kludde
Folloch, priest of the great Razmir. He arrived in our town one day, and he has given our lives meaning and shown us the joys of servitude and obedience. I do not know where he is now, but he will be here at noon, as he always is. Folloch never misses his daily sermon.
DM Kludde
As noon approaches, the townspeople stop their various activities and form a crowd at the base of the stage. Folloch - there is no doubt it is him, in his red robes and wearing an iron mask - exits from a house and makes his way to the stage. He starts the his sermon by praising the deeds of Razmir, until he stops and spots the adventurers in the crowd.
Ah! My dearest children, it appears some stray lambs have wandered into our flock! Surely Razmir can uncloud the minds of these wayward souls.
With a flourish, Folloch extends the rod he is holding, grins malevolently, and utters an arcane word.
Nothing happens.
Nothing at all.
As cold realisation washes over the priest, he shouts Unbelievers! Followers of Razmir! Restrain these men! the priest shouts as he leaves the stage in a hurry.
Use your skills to escape the fanatic crowd. Any skill is allowed, as long as you can explain why your action would work in escaping a crowd of fanatics trying to restrain you. Each adventurer can make three rolls, but they must be for different skills. The total number of successes determines how quickly you are able to escape the crowd.
Cartmanbeck's Pregen Alias
Quinn studies those around him, looking for those who don't mean to try to capture him, and moves quickly past them.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Unfortunately, he's not very good at judging the intent of those nearby.
Harsk, the Dwarven Ranger
Harsk rolls his eyes at Folloch's direction. Harsk believes in the rules of nature first and foremost, and he's more confident that Folloch corrupted the minds of the weak than actually convinced them of some kind of truth.
So when Folloch points a shiny rod, mumbles some gibberish, and is surprised nothing happens, Harsk breaks into laughter. He can't help it. "Wait, am I supposed to get on my knees now?"
Suddenly the crowd turns hostile. "Now I've done it. I said I would keep my mouth shut, too."
Alright, maybe I can distract everyone and then hide.
Bluff: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (9) - 1 = 8
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
"What's that? Those infidels over there must have ruined Folloch's sermon!" Hey, it was worth a shot. I'm causing a distraction so I can hide, which is technically 2 skills for one action.
Plan B. I'll try to weave my way through the crowd. Escape Artist: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
"Back off if you know what's good for ya! Touch me and you'll be cursed by evil!" Intimidate: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9 Bah, this is much easier when you're hiding among trees.
McS Pregen
Reiko sensing the mood of the crowd turning against her and her companions decides it is best to no longer be in the square. Dipping her hand into a belt pouch, she retrieves a small ball, which she hurls agains the ground, obscuring herself in smoke. Spinning on her heals, she darts for an alleyway just behind her, disappearing amongst the buildings.
She will be beating a hasty retreat, urban running/Parkour/Assassins creed style.
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 The smoke pellet gives concealment, so I don't know if it is needed.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
DM Kludde
@Harsk: That's the way to do it. Great post, too. One success...

Missed the "three skills" part LOL
Quinn will then attempt to just see a place to squeeze through the crowd.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
The crowd unfortunately presses in on him even MORE somehow.
Finally, he'll just try pleading with people in the crowd. "Excuse me! Pardon me! Let me through, please!"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Quinn is able to politely make his way through a portion of the crowd.

Seoni quickly scans the crowd, trying to discern where the most gullible of the villagers are.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
She moves closer and says
"I think your God just removed his priest from his grace. Turns out he is the wayward lamb!"
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
She looks around for an opening to move through.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
"Look there, it is a sign from Razmir that I speak the truth!
She casts flare above her, trying to hide her spellcasting and uses the diversion to scamper away.
Bluff: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
DM Kludde
Quinn is unable to see a quick way out, so he instead tries to talk his way through. Seen makes a nice combo of finding the intellectual weakest spot, bluffing her way through and finally finding an opening to escape through.

You're completely right, I missed that post.

With the swift thinking of the adventurers, the party manages to clear the horde of mesmerised followers. The Razmiran priest seems to have fled toward the stables.
Pregen - PatheticWretch
"Let us find this priest," Hayato says, already in pursuit. "I do not like that he would sacrifice us to a mob for his own twisted purpose."
Kyra, PreGen Cleric of Sarenrae
Sorry, been unusually busy the last few days.
Now wait, wait just a minute! This is not how the work of Razmir is actually put to use! Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
In fact, some of you seem to be working in servitude a bit too hard! You really need to rest and have a good, wholesome meal. I'm sure Razmir would prefer you to be ready for the next sermon rather than worry about us. Heal, looking at their condition and general readiness for pursuit of a Pathfinder: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
And, you do understand that to hold us against our will is a crime, don't you. Please, reconsider your actions! Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

The guards charge up to Reiko and Quinn. Reiko manages to evade the blow, but Quinn unfortunately takes a bad chop.
