"I expect the double doors south of this pool to be the same we saw earlier. I suggest we go back there, because there were two more doors to explore. Lets not leave any unexplored area behind us."
If nothing happens and there's nothing else Ilya notices about the water:
Ilya makes through the double doors, and up to the door of the unexplored room in the eastern wall. She puts hear ear against the door and listens.

She then shares anything there is to share, once her allies have caught up. After which Ilya opens the door, her temple sword raised.

The defeated man carried three flasks of acid, three flask of venom, a short sword and a hemp rope. The animals in the room screech restlessly, though not for love of their master, as some creatures have been badly mutilated.

![]() |

"Is anyone able to calm these critters?" Ilya asks with a concerned voice.
Ilya shakes her head in disgust. "What they've done to these animals is horrible. We should take them with us when we leave the dungeon today. Though I'm not entirely sure how..."
While inside the room she also takes a quick look around for useful items, placing the items found on the dead man on the table in the middle of the room. "Take what you want."
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
"Did you notice the floor's made of stone in this room, just like everywhere else in this dungeon?"

DM Kludde |

Ilya mentions something about the floor in the animal-filled chamber, but it seems the party's attention is already focused on the next room. This room is choked with tables stacked with stills and alembics, flasks, bubbling vats, and crockery. The eastern wall is fitted with stout wine racks filled with bottles of various sizes and shapes.
The contents of the rack include 11 bottles of wine, five bottles of brandy, eight bottles of vinegar, 14 vials of synesthetic agent; eight vials of antidote for synesthetic agent, three vials of acid, two vials of bull's strength, four vials of Small centipede venom, and three potions of cure light wounds, all neatly labelled.

After the inspection of the other room Ilya moves over to the excavated area. Ilya walks over to the nearest single door, and opens it as soon as the others have joined her there.

DM Kludde |

Ilya opens the door and finds a bedroom. A finely woven rug with a subtle tan and moorit pattern covers the floor of the bedroom. A garderobe enclosed by a wall is in the northeast corner, and to the west of it stands a large wardrobe.
There's a black human hair affixed to the door and the frame, marker to detect intrusion
The wardrobe is locked with an excellent combination lock.

DM Kludde |

Redke tries to disable the lock from afar. He concentrates, and breaks a sweat while he manipulates the combination. A satisfying 'click' can be heard, and the reaction of the kinetics is one of relief, but only until he finds out he was unsuccessful. Ilya, not being so patient, then just proceeds to bash the door from the wardrobe door. It yields easily: she damages the handle of the door, but also opens it up to a chest containing 450 gp, 1,250 sp, a pouch of six onyx pieces worth 50 gp each, and a Spire transport token.

![]() |

While the others are picking and smashing Vayu enjoys some brandy from one of the two bottles he took from the earlier room.
As the antics in the other room subside and others collect around he listens to the double doors near them and barring reason not to, opens the doors.

Vayu moves off and peeks at what is behind the double doors. Rows of pews and a stone altar on a low dais show that this room is a shrine. A large statue of a mysterious, hooded figure stands solemn vigil at the east end. Paintings on the walls depict a gray- hooded man in a variety of exploits and triumphs, culminating in his ascension to godhood, when he begins aiding lesser thieves.

After collecting all the loot from the wardrobe, Ilya moves after Vayu and Kellan. She takes a good look around when inside the shrine.
"Never heard of him," Ilya replies to Vayu. ""Or if I did, he didn't leave much of an impression on me.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

DM Kludde |

Vayu indeed recognises this as a shrine to Norgorber. Ilya has a look round and finds a hidden cavity in the altar, which holds four ceremonial black candles, and a masterwork silver dagger.

![]() |

"Anyone wants the dagger?" Ilya asks as she pockets the black candles.
After either giving the dagger someone else or pocketing this item as well, Ilya moves out of the shrine and up to the last unopened door.
Ilya waits for everyone else to join her at the door, which is when she'll open it.
I wonder where the cavern north of this door leads to... Probably deeper into the ground.

DM Kludde |

An ancient stone door opens into a dusty old crypt. Five stone sepulchers sit in the chamber’s northern and center portions. Each is carved with an effigy of a masked man or woman. To the south, one large sepulcher lies, its lid secured with iron bands.

![]() |

"Hmmm ... iron bands ... must be something good in there!"
Presuming everyone has caught up and is "near", Vayu scans the room with detect magic and looks for obvious trouble, Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Barring obvious threats he moves in ...

![]() |

Ilya also moves into the room. "The sepulcher with iron bands practically screams danger. I bet something very evil is locked within."
"Though I do expect that evil to have some good items..."
Before opening any sepulcher, Ilya takes a look around the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Ilya then carefully lifts the lid of the nearest sepulcher. "Let's make sure everything inside is a hundred percent dead, and can't rise to fight us, before we open the one with iron bands. After meeting those walking skeletons on the other floor I don't trust the dead to stay dead."
