Pro Tip: I recommend sleeping in shifts. My wife and I had a deal. We went to bed at 10pm. If it was before 2am and the baby was crying, I got up. If it was after 2am, she got up. Worked out rather well instead of it always being the same person. Plus, you're guaranteed to get to sleep at least half the night.

It varies :-)
Some people have babies that sleep through after a couple of weeks.
If you are like me, you'll grow to be more than a little envious of those parents.
We were keen on breast feeding, so mum got to do most of the wake ups, though when very tired, dad would do the fetch, deliver and put back to cot.
To be fair, we had each of our babies in a cot in our room for the first few months to make things like that much easier.
Nothing quite like having a baby for huge amounts of unsolicitated advice.

I had four daughters, all grown now, that luckily sleep through most nights as a baby. As GM Aerondor I also played fetch the baby for mama in the night if needed.
You never know what kinda sleeping habits they will take but we found it best to try to keep them awake a little during the day so they slept more at night. It is a guessing game because as babies they sleep alot anyway.

Yeah. Routine too. It is King.
That and instructions. Make them for yourself, because you will be tired.
Baby won't sleep?
Burp?
Nappy?
Bundle? (babies love to be bundled up)
Feed?
Dance around and sing :-) (seriously though, this works almost as well as putting them into a stroller and taking them for a walk).

Or is this not the spell (which I note in passing is a evocation and also not available to wizards, so I may have it wrong)?

Chronicle questions
@Avarus - are you buying the wand of CLW on this chroncile? So I should substract 2pp? Or was that the 2PP that you had reduced on the revised post above? Or was the wand already purchased before the start of this game? As the starting cash difference is only about 700, I assume the cloak is purchase on this chronicle?
@Velinov, presumably this is chronicle #3 for you, not #1? I also need to know your starting fame.
@Kaz/Llathander - in the event folk make awsome dip checks, I'll upload a new sheet for each of you with the envoy of peace enabled. But you guys have not had a lot of diplomacy success. (if you think you have, and I missed it, point it out to me I've been running three tables of this, and (being human) miss things sometimes.
