Clandelve lands a solid blow with his warhammer the first time, but his other attacks go wide of the mark.

Herrick drops three arrows into the flame throwers, the first two destroy the red one, the last hits the yellow one.

Caduceus tries to heal Clandelve, but the dwarves wounds resist the healing effects of the energy.
check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

If you want to heal Clandelve, you must make a caster level check to see if you succeed... this is nasty

Silias slashes at the crystal giant, and scores a light wound. However it seems resistant to the damage.

Aeris takes a step away from the flame-throwing turret, having had quite enough of its flames. Grateful for the healing provided by Caduceus, Aeris is able to focus his attention on the crystal giant. He recognizes his last hit was not as effective as it might have been, and he draws and nocks a series of arrows with adamantine-coated tips, loosing one after another at the giant! Sadly, he can't help but keep one eye out for the turret's flames, and his first couple of shots are poor ones indeed.

5-foot step, full attack vs giant using arrows treated with adamantine weapon blanch (4/20 arrows used).

Aeris's shots mostly go awry, although the last one strikes home. It doesn't seem to do as much damage as he hoped though.

Favian recognizes the turrets as animated objects. They are hard to damage, (have hardness) but that can be overcome by adamantine weapons. In general they are pretty vulnerable to magic, though as constructs they are immune to mine affecting spells. As for the crystal giant, he has no idea.

Quick question on the Life Link. I believe it is a Supernatural ability, does that work, or does it get a second roll as it is from a different class with a higher caster level?

Got it, I think. So I took 5 more hard to heal (HtH). I believe this will put Clandelve (I dig that name btw) down to 25 HtH hp, giving him an effective maximum of 60 hp for the rest of the game. My total HtH rises to 23, giving me 49 effective hp. So, I can still LL, it will just be far more exciting...ho boy. Yay Season 0???

The oracle draws still more of the cursed wounds out of Clandelve, his own body paying a terrible price for the healing he delivers.

To be fair, this is a standard PF monster, not an artefact of season 0.

The only healing I have is my wand and that's not going to do any good. It's a good thing my friend here helped me narrowly avoid that oversized rock. What is that you tossed at him?

Favian bends down and wipes the smear of dark brown, chunky fluid from the golem's face and takes a whiff. His face contorts into a grimace of disgust.

That smells like that pear you picked in the Kaava Jungle! But that was month's ago! I thought I told you to clean your satchel out after we returned to the lodge! Don't you realize that it would be an absolute disaster if you accidentally got rotten fruit over the clothing of a very well-dressed person of noble demeanor, like me for instance!

The monkey just sort of gives a shrug and a look of innocence on his face.

Well, if there is no other healing we can do we should get on with our search of the ship.

After seeing to the wound on Caduceus, Herrick looks after the Harbor Guards that had been assaulted prior to his team's arrival. "Harbor Guards! Are you safe? Can we offer you healing of any sort?" After tending to the guards safety, he searches the wreckage of the turrets for his durable arrows and gets a greater inspection of the crystal giant.

While not overtly showing his amusement at the monkey and man exchange, Herrick notices it just the same. Not taking his eyes away from his search, he says to the side, "Agreed Favian. We must indeed explore while we can. I will just perform a quick search here for anything that might be of value to the society." He takes out a leather journal and notes the size, shape and approximate material composition of the crystal giant and details of the cursed wounds it caused as well as the details of the turrets they faced. He looks to see if any pieces of constructs can be salvaged for later study.

@Favian -> That was great for a chuckle! Thanks for that!

You spend a few minutes searching the decks, which have a large variety of crevasses, nooks and crannies. However none of them lead into the ship. Well, almost none. There is one that leads downwards into an inner compartment.

The compartment appears empty and sterile except for the crumpled bodies of the two Harbor Guardsmen that lie on the floor—smashed by the crystalline automaton that attacked them so suddenly. The opposite end of the compartment has a single door in the bulkhead, seemingly constructed of a single piece of crystal. Lying beside it is an ornate heavy axe with a head of a lustrous silvery metal.

Sorry to be so absent, things are still in crisis mode.

Aeris, as a servant of Milani, is used to paths of subterfuge to achieve his goddess' goal of overthrowing tyranny and oppression. In spite of this background, he's unable to suppress a smile as Favian berates his monkey for an unfortunate fruit storage choice. His smile fades as he sees how difficult it is to heal the wounds suffered by Clandelve and Caduceus, and he wonders whether he might be able to help them.

I'm not sure I caught all the details in the healing discussion, but am I correct in understanding that Aeris would be able to channel to heal the hard to heal damage by making a DC 26 caster level check and using his CL of 8?

Lantern Lodge

Silent tide map

Yes, that is correct

Aeris brings Clandelve and Cadeceus in close, laying a hand on each of their shoulders, and giving Silas a nod to come closer, before saying, "I don't know if I can do this, but Milani achieves her aims in many ways. Perhaps she will choose to heal you today in furtherance of her goals." He focuses intently a moment, then calls on his goddess to heal the damage caused by the crystal giant.

Sorry, missed the updates over Easter. I'm going to say no to the taking extra hp before the channels, as you are doing that with the knowledge they will be successful. Or alternatively take as many as you want and then we'll get the level checks rerolled, but I don't recommend that.

I assume this was either missed or I found nothing in the area. Just bring it up again in case it was missed. Not sure where the door is on the map, so if I am wrong, just move me near it.

Herrick approaches the door for a closer look. He hands the silvery axe to one of the others, "Looks like this belonged to one of those men, but maybe it will be good for one of you."

He then turns back to the door. What other way do we have in?

I must have missed due to the OOC colour

When Herrick goes close to the door it changes from solid to being a kind of ripply appearance, like a pond with a stone thrown into the middle of it. But vertical. And not wet.

He seems to think to himself for a moment, stepping back from the door and toward the group once again before saying, "Mind if I hand one of you one end of a rope before I try this?" He steps up towards the door and lays a hand on Herrick's shoulder, saying, "Milani guide you," before stepping back and taking a firm grip on the rope.

The paladin pulls a scroll from his pack. After a brief scan of the text, "Please, gather close as the range is limited." With that, he reads off a line of divine text and a soft glow briefly eminates from the half elf.The team has felt channeled healing energy before, and this is a similar experience. Yet, instead of a rapid blast, it feel like a warm bath that settles in around the Pathfinders.

Veil of Heaven (10 minutes/level)~ You surround yourself with a veil of positive energy, making it harder for evil outsiders to harm you. For the duration of this spell, you gain a +2 sacred bonus to AC and on saves. Both of these bonuses apply only against attacks or effects created by outsiders with the evil subtype. You can dismiss this spell as a swift action to deal 1d8 points of damage + 1 point per paladin level to all such outsiders within 5 feet. A Will save halves this damage.

Lantern Lodge

Caduceus reads a scroll.

The spell only affects you. The 5' range is only for if you cancel it and want to damage evil outsiders near you.

Can you update your stat bar to note an extra +2 AC vs outsiders
