The door to the left? That means climbing on the stage. No issues. With a double move she can almost make it to the door. Opening the door itself will be a move action. So I'm going to assume this round you finish the move to the door and then open it.
Naomi climbs over the stage and opens the side door. There is a small room beyond with a curtain hanging down the middle of it.
The floors are painted black and the walls are covered in dozens of painted handbills and posters of previous operas performed here. Dozens of costume racks and painted backdrops are set up here.
Meanwhile the cornered patrons continue to cringe.

GM Aerondor, you are aware that with shield of faith in effect, my current AC is 24 right?
Grimaldus, step back a little, so ill have room to safely cast without putting you in harms way.
Aarion steps back and administers the healing grace of Sarenrae to himself.

The blue zombie is down right? Asking 'cos it is still on the map. Assumming that it is gone. Also, Fung hasn't use the guidance that Grimaldus laid on him a few rounds ago.
Seeing the zombie has fallen, Fung steps forward and blast the woman with a bolt of electricity, hoping to still hit her despite the doorway being in the way.
Electric Blast, point blank, guidance: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 20 vs touch AC, likely with partial cover

Stepping away from Aarion for the time being it was time to bless one of the others with the guiding hand of the Dawnflower. Once more his hand rested lightly on the shoulders of his companions before asking Sarenrae to guide his hand in the upcoming fight. "Sarenrae, please guide Tirrem into striking true and delivering your punishment to these foul abominations!"

Indeed the blue zombie is down
Fung sends a bolt of electricity into the woman who shudders in shock and then... collapses to the ground.
Combat over
The main man looks you up and down and gestures to one of the people next to him.
"You are most honored to have been of assistance to the consul for the fourth district!"
He looks at the bloodied and disheveled pathfinders.
"Now if you would be so kind as to open these doors for us.."

Xuan Fung is beginning to get irritated by the bossy nobles. Nobles are all the same, whether in Avistan or in Tian. They think they can step all over us commoners.
Quite tactlessly, he states "Try all you want but we are trapped in here, and the only way to get out is to uncover the source of this foul undead infestation within this building."
Without waiting for a reply, Xuan Fung returned to what he had been doing below - looking for a passageway to lead underground to where the dig site might be. Pacing to the double doors to the SW behind the stage, he carefully listens through them and only if he's convinced that he hears nothing suspicious behind does he crack open the doors slightly to peep through.

He shakes his head. "Peasants.. sometimes they just don't know their place.". He follows Fung back into the theater.
Fung himself checks through the curtains and looks backstage. This room is also painted black. The walls are covered with old posters and there are racks and racks of clothes and props. A pile of dead actors lie here too, along with a couple more twice dead zombies...
Fung spies some doors and what looks to be a set of stairs.

Fung stares suspiciously at the pile of dead actors, and "dead" zombies, uncertain if they might rise / rise again. Turning to his team mates, he describes what he sees, but doesn't enter until the rest of the party gathers.

Falling in line with the noble he regarded the man for a moment. "Sir, do realize that these people just saved your live, Now for you, being noble born it might seem like a normal thing to happen, however, things could have gotten worse and uglier if they didn't step in. A bit of respect or courtesy could get you a long way, after all, they could leave you behind without protection..." A smile was given to the noble born before he continued. "Alas, where are my manners, I am Grimaldus. I do hope that my employees didn't offend you to much, they are doing their work, and they are good at it..."

Let me know when enough time has past to off set the duration of the shield of faith spell.
Observing Fung looking like he is about to open a new set of doors, Aarion moves over to the Kineticist and prepares for what is on the other side.
"I am ready when you are."
Tirrem Kart
|
Tirrem has little regard for the nobles' thanks or rebukes. Helping ungrateful people is common for a ranger, after all. Instead, he is more concerned in helping Fung find the way underground. He enters the backstage and readies himself should one of the zombies or actors rise from their rigor mortis. Standing next to the bulkiest actor, battleaxe in both hands, he asks: Fung, how long do you think we should wait before declaring them dead?
GM Aerondor
|
"Oh a dwarf! How Quaint! My good dwarf, so pleasant to meet one of you folk. I've heard so much about your ability with metal. Why my own blacksmith once told me he was as good as a dwarf. The man is a terrible liar. I had him whipped...Oh I say, the others are getting ahead of us."
He probably thinks he is being polite. Unless you are really sprinting your shield of faith is probably used up. There will be checking wounds and cleaning weapons and such, not to mention dealing with throngs of people and irritated nobles. If you push it, we could say there is a maybe a minute left.
None of the zombies move as Tirrem walks around them. Nor does the first actor he checks.
Xuan Fung

Grimaldus is a half elf. :-)
"Tirem, I'm afraid I really can't tell. I haven't had much experience with the walking dead," he replies with a faint smile on his face. "I'm afraid all this is quite new for me. But I guess we must proceed below regardless to hunt for the missing pathfinder. "
Should we herd all the civilians to a more defensible room, eg 7, before we go underground?
GM Aerondor
|
Yes.. but he 'looks' like a dwarf. It could be the nobleman has _very_ blue blood. Or the GM needs glasses. I'll opt for the former. Maybe GMs and noblemen have similar levels of vanity.
Brother Grimaldus
|
This I didn't see coming! :P
He nearly faltered in his foodsteps as he was described as a dwarf. Guessing the man must have been never out of town and hiding up his own little house he pondered how to react to it. Shaking his head briefly "I am surely you are mistaken, my heritage isn't related to the dwarves. my father was a human and my mother an elf..." He then dismissed the noble as he waited for what Fung and Tirrem would say in regards of the zombies and dead people

I'm OK with not pushing to conserve time on the spell. So we will move forward with the spells duration being complete. I am making the assumption that the rooms that are reveled have their doors open and we know that there is a stairway in room 2.
Aarion moves through the southwest double doors and begins inspecting the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
"Before proceeding up or down to another level, we should clear this level first. This will help to insure the safety of these people. Once we know there are no more threats on this level, I am OK with proceeding down."
Xuan Fung

Fung sighs on hearing Aarion's words. "You're right, noble Aarion. I should not have let my irritation with one man jeopardize the safety of the innocents."
With that sad, he gestures silently to the door northwest of Aarion while he moves to the door to the north that leads to the same room. He listens through the door before quietly opening it a crack to peep in.

Tirrem walks up to the stage after acknowledging Fung's comment.
All is clear in the backstage, it seems. Feel free to clear up the rest while we continue to clear back here!, he says oblivious to the fact that he looks like an announcer of a play that is about to start.
Following that, he walks backstage again to check everything more carefully and tries to reconstitute from the corpses positions where the zombies came from in that area. Would that be track or perception?
GM Aerondor

The nobleman takes this in his stride and admonishes the lacky next to him. "That's the last time I listen to your wisdom! Call yourself an adviser?"
Aarion hears sound coming from the doorway to the north, suddenly three figures burst through it! They are dressed for battle, and do not look like theater fans.
But alas, miss out on a surprise round
"What is that sound?" says the lacky, fear on his face.

Ah! The curtain's in the way. Anyway, I think Tirrem is in the same room as Aarion from his posts - he was examining the corpses - but he didn't manage to move his token.
Hearing the shouts in the next room but his vision blocked by the curtains, Fung dashes back to double doors to see the 3 newcomers. Uncertain of their intent, he gathers up his power, ready to blast them should they show signs of aggression.
I would assume so, but just in case. Ready action to electric blast the first person who is aggressive towards his teammates.

Shadowstrike is melee touch. Naomi will have to move into combat to use that. I'm not too sure there are many options of spaces for her to occupy. If I count it right, she could double move and get to the square north of the Red person without attracting an AOO, but not get an attack in this round. If she didn't mind going through the middle of the melee she could do it and get in an attack, but open herself up to an AOO from the movement.
