OOC discussions and questions will be held here to keep the gameplay thread as in-character as possible. Thanks!
GM Kim
I know Dagat and Gorn will be showing up, and Berosius will not be. I haven't heard from Noorzad on if they're continuing, but they were having internet problems a few days ago. Hopefully we'll hear soon, but if not, we can proceed with four.
Does Wednesday (tomorrow) work for everyone for an official start date?
EDIT - Oh! And no need to fill out the form again. Just let me know if you're making any ITS purchases beforehand via PM or e-mail. Thanks!
EDIT 2 - Unless you're rebuilding a level 1, then just let me know your starting gold!

*EDIT* Rasum frasum... characters page has my normal profile... not Gorn. Grumble. */EDIT*
I am here, and the only purchase I made was the one I emailed you. My starting gold (and other assorted funds) is current and in my profile.
All gear is current, and I think I've got everything down for Gorn's second level of experience.

I have to say, I'm discovering things about equipment in PFS I haven't before. Like how spring-loaded wrist sheaths aren't part of the core assumption. Nor are durable arrows.
Actually, this is kind of silly, but torches don't even seem to be in the core assumption. Because they're from Ultimate Equipment and that's not part of the core. And similarly, backpacks and grappling hooks are from UE too. I'm definitely missing something about equipment, but I can't figure out what it is.
Edit: Oh, duh, here it is!
All mundane (completely nonmagical) weapons, armor, equipment, and alchemical gear found in any other source that is legal for play are considered always available.
Well, that makes more sense! I guess I can purchase wrist sheaths and durable arrows under these rules. I think. Ugh, I'll just leave this alone for now. Might as well ask it along with my question if I need to own Ultimate Magic to play Magus or Ultimate Combat to play Samurai.

You do need to have the books to play the classes, but I'm not completely sure about equipment. I would err on the side of yes, you do, though.

A tonne of basic equipment is in the Core Rulebook (including torches, backpacks, etc.). They have been reprinted in UE, sure, but everything in Core is fine.
However, spring-loaded wrist sheaths are from Adventurer's Armory, so you have to own that if you want to use them.
PbP sorta functions with an honour system style of play, though. There isn't much of a way to prove you own this or that...
Will update Hyeon-ae momentarily. Don't have time to re-write her backstory that the changes necessitate, however... (Uni is killing me at the moment.)

I, ummm, still need Noorzad's current prestige before the last scenario.
GM Kim
@Noorzad - I still have no way to send you a PM or access your character sheet. I also have not received your previous prestige points from the last scenario. Until these issues are fixed, you will be unable to proceed with this scenario.

I'm aliiiive. Hyeon-ae is updated, 'cept for her history which is probably irrelevant to most of you anyway. :P
She's now an Inquisitor of Iomedae (tl;dr history: she is of the opinion that Iomedae and Shizuru are the same being, just with different names. Hey, she's not a Heretic for nothin'.) She has the Chivalry inquisition which means she still has her horse. Although I suspect he'll be staying belowdecks in a pen somewhere for this trip.

Okay, just noticed that Noorzad sent his prestige and day job in the old inactive thread. You should have your chronicle sheet now. We can use e-mail's over PM's, as well. Also, could you post your stat blocks in your profile?
Zephri, Dagat, Gorn, and Ryu all have excellent examples in each of their profiles that you could use. It just really helps me a lot in certain instances. Thanks!
Also, the new Hyeon-ae looks awesome. I like the confusion with the goddesses, too. I think she might be on to something! And yeah, Jin will likely be below decks for the majority of the scenario. He'll get a brief chance to come up a little later.

We're going to be hard-pressed to finish this scenario within the time restraints, I'm afraid. The last two encounters have taken considerably longer than expected, and there's still a couple down the pipes.
I plan on finishing this one regardless, but I need to know something. Is everyone still prepared to continue with the third one even if it's after PbP gameday? I will still GM it if I have enough people to continue, even if I have to open it to recruitment (which I'd rather not do). I will wait on making a decision until I've heard everyone's thoughts.
GM Kim
Are Hyeon-ae and Zephri still with us? I haven't heard from Zephri in over a week now.
Also, how does everyone feel about heavy botting (as opposed to delaying, which is what I've been doing unless someone's stated they were giving me permission to bot them) and quicker deadlines for rounds? We don't have much time to finish this scenario and we still have two (I think?) more encounters to get through. To be fair, this encounter has dragged out much, much longer than it should have.

Apologies to everyone in games I'm in.
I have exams at the moment, which is making me busier than normal, but I also had a mild family crisis (nothing serious thankfully!) that resulted in me needing to babysit my sister's kids while trying to juggle studying and exams and whatnot. Busy times.
I'll try my best to catch up tonight and tomorrow, but please do bot me in the instance that I am (almost certainly) holding things up.
After my exams are done next week things will be better. Sorry again!

Okay, I talked it over with Brandon (one of the online VO's), and he said that we can go ahead and roll for boons and report the game. If anything changes, it wouldn't be that hard to change the report (according to him, I have no idea). So if everyone wants to roll for their boons for this scenario, go ahead. I'm expecting four rolls, one from Gorn, Hyeon-ae, Dagat, and Noorzad.
Also, since everyone's still planning on going into the next scenario after we finish this one, I want to know if you guys are comfortable going in with four players, or if you want to recruit more. I'm more comfortable with four at tabletops, but PbP I have no idea on a good target number. Four seems to be moving along pretty quickly, but the scenario's don't take into account only four players (it's season 3, between season's where they were assuming four players at a table (seasons 0-2) and six players at a table with guidelines for four players (seasons 4-5)). So any thoughts on recruiting? I'm fine going in with what we have. It seems like a good makeup.
Dagat - Tien Archer
Gorn - Dwarven Fighter
Hyeon-ae - Tien Inquisitor (or cavalier, which would be a good one for the next scenario, actually, now that I think about it)
Noorzad - Human Bard

I'll need a reminder on what it means to roll for a boon (ie, tell me what to roll :) ).
Concur that four potentially moves faster, but the scenarios do have certain built-in assumptions. No preference, really. Long as we push forward at a pace commensurate with our ability and don't get ahead of ourselves.

Ditto on what Noorzad said. No particular preference, but I do like just us four continuing. I won't argue with adding more though, especially if it turns out we really do need those extra meat shields.
Also, it's a 1d20 with 1 and 20 being the lucky numbers.
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 18
No cigar!

I am a dunce. I went out of town over the weekend, and for some reason the game slipped my mind. I am so sorry. Anyways, the game's been reported, nobody got any boons for this scenario, but should've received their boons by now for the first one, I think. Let me know if you haven't and I'll bug Arthur or Jesse about it.
We'll continue with the scenario's last battle and wrap it up before moving on to the next one. Hopefully Hyeon-ae's still about, or else we're going into the next one with only three.
GM Kim
Last time I rolled for everyone at the same time because I thought it was more convenient. I got some complaints about that, so decided I'd let everyone roll their own this time. And half the people weren't around to roll for them before I reported, so I still had to roll for some player's boons. sigh
