As Eskis lies unconscious on the stone cold floor. Braoin uses Prestidigitation to put on a display.

Upon seeing it Celeena is silently impressed.

Diminian and Kazbaz both run forward.

Dresden moves forward and steps to the side to catch a glimpse of Celeena it's enough of a view to unleashes another electrical energy in the foes direction.

ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Unfortunately, her line of sight wasn't as good as she hope and the ray misses.

Seeing most of her allies move to the left, Carerris darts to the left, in an attempt to close in on Celeena from all sides.

Celeena hears footsteps from all over the room, not wanting to be cornered she darts to the south. Stopping at end of the row, a coruscating ray springs from her hand in the direction of Carerris.

Ray of Enfeeblement ranged touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Strength damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Carerris Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

The ray hits the gnome, but Carerris is able to shake off some of the effect. 2 strength damage

Diminian runs toward to stupid lady and draws his club and attacks her.

Kazbaz double moves again cornering the wizard.
HA! Gotcha now!

Braoin moves up behind Diminian. (My move didn't save last time, so I moved myself back up and then moved again from there.)

Braoin crosses his fingers and casts Color Spray.

Will Save v. DC16 Color Spray: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

No a VERY good idea!

Broain darts around the corner and gives Mistress Deckland a taste of he own medicine, as the vivid colored lights burst forth for his hands. She is mesmerized by the display.

Blinded and Stunned: 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds then Stunned for 1 more round.

Kazbaz and Diminian quickly surround her. And although 3 rounds isn't very long, it's long enough to subdue this deadly foe.

Ceelena has been captured. A few rounds later Eskis comes around and with a little effort the fallen guard dog is brought back to consciousness and will be okay.

With Celeena stopped and the documents secured, Absalom is once again safe from invasion!

Over the next few days the archives are cleared out by various members of the Society who catalog the unique items therein. The Society brings in a cleric to consecrate the remains of the Deckland family interred in the crypts, and properly restore the crypts to a manageable status.

As to Ceelena Deckland, feel free to post how you deal with her. You can kill her (but Good aligned characters would likely have a problem with that), you can turn her over to the Absalom authorities, or I guess you could let her go. I'll let you decide.

Finally! This took like 5 months!

life does get in the way, but i loved it. hope we can do it again

Play by Post is meant to move slowly over a period of time. My experience is that normally a scenario like this one should take about 2 months give or take to finish. With everyone posting closer to once a day, at least 4-5 days a week. But really it is what you make it.

I enjoyed running it as well, it was a bit challenging for brand new level ones with those Lemure's having damage reduction. I was really wondering if Celeena would end up causing a TPK, as she had the ability to be formidable.I was very glad she failed her Will save.

I'm totally willing to run another one, if there is interest.

yes please, maybe karen will play her own character this time. and we plan on getting a laptop in the near future, which increases her ability to play

We had a lot of fun on this end too. Sorry about the slow posts lately - I got a new job and have been very busy. I'd certainly be down for another run, but if we wait until later in the summer (or early fall) I'd be far more responsive. I'll be pretty busy for the next couple months. I might rejigger my character a bit before then, as some stuff didn't work out like I thought it would and his serious personality isn't as much fun to roleplay as I expected. Thanks for running this Dave!

Yes -- Very good! I suggest we wait till post GENCON, which would be August. Feel free to rework the characters, as at first level you are aloud to rebuild as often as you want (between adventures), even completely changing stuff like class, race, etc. I will get the chronicle sheets posted soon.
