Nice find of the interesting Winged One Heroic Path.
I taken the Healer Heroic Path to boost the healing capability of her, seeing in nightflier's games and particular Midnight Setting, getting damage is a very sure thing besides a good chance of dying too.
For the Spells I have already taken these healing ones:
0 stabilize
0 purify food and drink (not really healing, but handy spell for having food that wont result in some form of harm)
0 create water (well good not to have to drink bad water)
1 cure light wounds
The goal is to grab all the healing type spells when available to choose them.
If nightflier thinks it is fine to have enough healing via spells without the Healer Heroic Path then if would be an option if nightflier allows the 3rd party Winged One Heroic Path.
Spell schools and Magecraft ability: I read the MM2 a few times to make sure I read correctly. To me it seems with Magecraft you can choose three 0-level an one 1-level spells regardless of any particular school. You only begin selecting a school when one gets Spellcasting ability, from this point one spells must be selected from the chosen schools (excluding the Magecraft choices). Is this correct? If I have to choose Conjuration (lesser), I don't have enough 0-level spells to fill the 3 0-level slots.

Oooh, I think I just found my heroic path. Beast. This is what I am looking for in making my character. Slow to trust, dark, brooding, and always seems to be deeply disturbed by something (although nobody can put a finger on what it is).
Nightflier, this path indicates that I would get the rage power at 7th level as per the barbarian class. Since this is Pathfinder I take it that the ability is in rounds per day?
Also, would he gain the improved versions of this as he levels?
One final question: listed in the Varyag document is the natural armor in hybrid form. Am I correct in interpreting this as starting at +1 at level 1 and a +5 at level 5?

@Nightflier - Point of clarification on Rogue Bonus Feats - Are the feat prerequisites in effect for these feats? In other words, can I select Deflect Arrows without having Improved Disarm first? Or Improved Steal without Combat Expertise? I'm assuming no, but thought I'd ask, since it's not explicitly stated either way.
Prerequisites must be met. Also, you will find right before the Traits section hit points for all the classes. If weapon proficiencies, skills etc. are not listed, than you use Pathfinder rules, with Midnight additions. Take not that Bluff and Intimidate are rolled into Persuasion.

A similar question to i.jason on feats; you mentioned at one point that you were using a variant version of the Power Attack feat, but Power Attack is not listed in your document.
Power Attack is one of the standard feats that scale with levels. It remains unchanged. My goal is to add more scaling feats, but not to break the game, so I'm adding them very slowly.

An update: I am nearly finished with Anwyn, and should have a profile posted for her by Monday. I am sure I will continue tweaking her some before the actual game starts.
Nightflier, I was thinking of possible mania for her and one idea I had was a fascination with her hair. She would be constantly combing it and playing it continuously, even using Prestidigitation to change it to various colors.
What do you think?
I think that can work. Also, giving her class and mixed racial background, I'd think that she has some unhealthy attitudes towards relationships, intimacy and sex - but it's up to you how far you want to push that.

That is correct. Also, take the Healer path. It is one of the most powerful in the setting.

You gain Rage at 7th, as Barbarian class from the core rules. At 17th you gain Extra Rage bonus feat. Rage rules are per PF standard rules.
Yes. You gain +1 natural armor each level, but your natural armor in human shape is limited to maximum +2. In your animal and hybrid shape it goes up to +5 at 5th level.

Someone could take the Inflict Light Wounds spell as well; not saying it's guaranteed, but were we to know an undead that needed healing...
Pity I not in your party to give you a super healthy dose of healing magic.
I think I almost done with the crunch, still got one 1st feat to add.
@nightflier, can you provide me with an elf sub type (no game mechanics, just visual appearance and cultural aspects of character) so I can create a name for character.
Also character will alignment of CG.
Character for background will have lived in the wilderness almost entire life, living off the land and helping those defending the land.

@All
The game begins on Tuesday, October 1st. Please finish your characters by then. The maximum number of players for one game is 9, the minimum is 4. If there is not enough players for two parties, but more than 9 players in total, I will choose 9 PCs for the Party 1 and the remaining players will be put on a bench until there is vacancy.

I decided to go with the Danisil (Jungle Elves) for character culture and background, as these elves suit the idea of character best. Is it fine to take the Danisil language list for additional language learnt?
Wow! I ignored the Arcane Bond as you requested we should not have familiars, animal companions or bonded magical objects for the start of the adventure. I see the Patron talent has a Healing spell group. So taking plenty healing spells, taking talent Patron: Healing, and Healer Heroic Path, one becomes healer megastar.
I noticed Patron has a prerequisite of Arcane Bond talent. Seeing channeler only gets a talent every odd level, it would mean the earliest one could get the Patron talent would be channeler level 3. Would this when the channeler eventually takes Patron talent, they gain all the bonus spells up to the appropriate channeler level? For the case of getting Patron at 3rd level, one would get both the 1st and 3rd bonus spells. If taken later at 7th level, one would get from 1st to 7th bonus spells.

Working on the background for my character now. In summary part of a breeding program put in place by minions of the dark one. When he was born he had a conjoined twin sister, sharing one lower arm, hand. Since female children are rare in this particular experiment, she was the one who ended up with the hand, when they were chopped apart...albeit a hand with two thumbs and four fingers... Still working on their relationship, and his upbringing, but it's coming together now.

DarkOne, since you and I now have nearly identical builds, I'm hoping we wind up with two parties, but here's how you get Patron at 1st level. There is an Extra Talent feat. Take Arcane Bond for your Channeler Talent and Extra Talent: Patron for your feat. I'm taking it a step further and planning to write the detailed background for the bonus feat so I can also have a hex at 1st level. (Edit: That assumes an open-ended bonus feat, otherwise no hexes till 3rd level)

Nightflier, two more questions.
1. Is the Magecraft feat the same as in the Midnight core rules?
2. Are you planning to model Patron's Boon after those in the Chronicles of the Righteous (or for those with a darker bent after the ones in Princes of Darkness, Lords of Chaos, and Horsemen of the Apocalypse) or are you planning on custom crafting them based on Patrons? Its something I might begin to work into my story (with appropriate modifications for Midnight of course)
DarkOne the Drow
michaelane, rather true what you said. When I saw what roles were being taken I decided to make a healer for the party. When nightflier the requests for membership exceeded the party size he decided to make 2 parties, placing me into the 2nd group, thus asking you to have a healer character for the 1st group. No surprise we ending up with very similar characters.
I decided on Healer Heoric Path and then I searched for a race that would be suitable for healer role, and with nightflier's suggestions I ended up with aasimar, eventually onto plumekith. Only after seeing the wings description of plumekith, I decided to deviate from original idea of druid type healer as in core rules to something more interesting, having a strong focus on healing, and greater mobility to be able to move between party members to heal. I planning to take up more healing abilities, with focus on defensive abilities for movement and casting.
Even though I not taking the witch type abilities in the beginning, I will be adding them later. Grabbing some survival improvement abilities.
I also working on writing a detailed background for the bonus feat, which I hope to get.
I busy writing up my background hoping to have it finished by tomorrow. Basically, Therudrim begins life in Aruun jungle near Arunoth Mountains. At some point the grove gets destroy while she is away, killing all her family, then travelling around the jungle to survive and grow stronger to take revenge on the demons that killed her family.
Going to be interesting adding to the background afters how she left her home region to end up as a prisoner somewhere.

1. Yes.
2. Boon's will be modeled after those you've mentioned, but they will be tailored to individual patrons. For instance, it is possible to have different supernatural patrons dedicated to healing and quite probable that they should give different boons.

Building profile page: Therudrim Maernfireplith
Only the beginnings of the background, the birth part almost done. To be followed by some childhood, family death, surviving afterwards. Once adventure starts I add the missing part to get to the prison situation. Just a snippet of what is still coming.

I have completed my profile of Anwyn Elghreah. The only thing left to do is pick her first level feat and finish up her BG.

@Nightflier - Since you've clarified that the Rogue bonus feat prerequisites still apply, I wonder why Sixth Sense is on that list. Sixth Sense requires "Perception 1 rank as a class skill."
Perception is not a class skill for Rogues as you've built them.
Which makes me question why a Feat that requires ranks in a skill, AS a class skill, would be a Bonus Feat/Class Feature for a class that doesn't include that skill.
Or am I missing something?

It's after Linguistics and before Perform. This is copied from the rules document pdf:
The rogue's class skills are Acrobatics (Dex), Appraise (Int), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Disable Device (Dex), Disguise
(Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (local) (Int), Linguistics (Int), Perception (Wis), Perform (Cha),
Persuasion (Cha), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Sleight of Hand (Dex), Stealth (Dex), Swim (Str), and Use Magic Device (Cha).
Skill Ranks per Level: 8 + Int modifier.

Question: I can't seem to find if natural armor stacks with different types of armor. Say, chainmail for instance. Do they both stack or not?
Also, I am finding a trait of body that is inconsistent with other similar traits.
Why is the Strong trait so penalized when Dexterous and Tough are not the same? I can take Dexterous or Tough twice and buy off the penalty but not Strong. I would like strong but not at that cost.
I am finding that the Varyag are not proficient with any weapons. Why is that?
Under the Beast Heroic Path I find this:
At 1st and 16th level, the beast may choose either low-light vision or scent as a special quality. If the beast already has low-light vision and chooses that option, he becomes able to see three times as far as a human in poor lighting.
Would you rule that I can improve his scent ability rather than just the low-light vision?
Also on the beast heroic path is the claws. Does the damage increase apply to the hybrid form as well? Or would it replace them?

@nightflier - One more (hopefully last) clarification question:
"Weapon Familiarity: Gnomes treat all crossbows as
martial weapons and they gain Rapid Reload as bonus
feat at 1st level. Those of them who already have that
level of proficiency with those weapons because of a
class feature are considered having Weapon Focus
bonus feat with those weapons."
Does this mean that a character has to have BOTH weapon proficiency AND Rapid Reload before the Gnome bonuses count as Weapon Focus?
Specifically, as a Rogue, I have proficiency with hand crossbows. As a Gnome, assuming no other feats taken, do I have Rapid Reload AND Weapon Focus with hand crossbows, or just Rapid Reload?

Question: I can't seem to find if natural armor stacks with different types of armor. Say, chainmail for instance. Do they both stack or not?
Bonus (Armor)
An armor bonus applies to Armor Class and is granted by armor or by a spell or magical effect that mimics armor. Armor bonuses stack with all other bonuses to Armor Class (even with natural armor bonuses) except other armor bonuses. An armor bonus doesn't apply against touch attacks, except for armor bonuses granted by force effects (such as the mage armor spell) which apply against incorporeal touch attacks, such as that of a shadow.
Natural Armor bonuses do stack with worn armor. This is good for me as well, though I doubt I'll ever wear anything heavier than Studded Leather.
Grand Moff Vixen
Does anyone have more info on these shadowlands? I have poured over any info I can find and I am not finding much. Since my character is from there I am trying to build his background but am coming up empty.

Ok, a few more questions on traits for you Nightflier.
Superior Intellect trait
1. Does it force you into Int for those skills or can you choose?
2. Where do I find the Canny Fighting feat chain? (not that I can probably afford to take it)
Weapon Bond
How does this affect ranged weapons? I assume you get the attack benefit, but do you get the damage benefit? If so is it automatic or do you have to have an unusual version of a composite weapon to benefit?

Well, some of the traits are stolen from the Monte Cook, including those you mentioned. I guess he considered Strong to be possibly gamebreaking, so he decided to limit its usefulness.
Varyag are proficient with broadsword and bearded axe. Broad sword uses same stats as falcata, and bearded axe uses same stats as dwarven war axe. Trouble is - both weapons are not made outside the Shadowlands.
You can choose to improve one or the other.
Beast gains basic damage of d4 in the human form. When you gain hybrid for at 2nd level, you can also use claws. When you normally gain claws attack, at 3rd level, you improve your claw damage to d6.

Nightflier, wanted to double check the caster stats for the various channelers. I'm sure its in your doc, but I think I'm suffering from the same blindness as i.jason. Is it:

- Naturalist (Wis)
- Spiritualist (Wis)
Yes. Although there is a talent which allows you to change that.

1. You can choose.
2. I haven't added those feats yet, since they have 6th level as prereq in most cases. I will add them later on.3. Depends. With crossbows you'd get both attack and damage bonus. With bows, I think only attack bonus and I don't really know if I'd allow that trait to be usable with composite bows.
DarkOne the Drow
Here I sit with a massive headache, struggling to focus on writing the background.
I thinking at the moment in my confused state of mind, maybe not take Wise trait twice but only once taking charisma penalty (which can go well with the character appearance anyway), and use the trait slot for another trait. Two possible traits are: Lithe (for improved acrobats and tumbling) or racial trait Toxophilite (+2 on attack rolls to confirm critical hits with bows). Only snag with racial trait, currently character is not proficient with bows to make it handy, and wondering how to get the extra proficiency of bows to make racial trait useful.
Anyone, what are your recommendations? Which trait to use.
nightflier any idea about obtaining bow proficiency? No hassle if not, then I keep character purely non-combatant including range attacks as is currently.
I noticed under the Aasimar, there is no mention of weapon and armour proficiencies as with other races. Though being outsiders, I noticed Creature Types and Subtypes, there are Outsider traits that include weapon and armour proficiencies. Do I use these traits of outsiders with native for the aasimar, well it would solve the bow question above.
Therudrim Maernfireplith
Stats done as for taking Trait Wise twice, though is up for change on anyone's recommendations, see previous post of mine. Please check if there are silly errors, give suggestions. PS: anyone is welcome to check. I tossing currently between Lithe and Toxophilite traits to make character more interesting. I think I can afford to take the Charisma penalty, due to her scary looking appearance.
Background is incomplete currently, though I decided to have her around when her family is killed, to introduce specifically targeted hated foe(s) for possible future story hooks.
I will only add a bonus feat if background story is approved for it. I suffering major headache today, struggling to continue writing background.
Edit:
Additional language list. Is it fine to use the Danisil language list?
