Gunder Undertable |

Gunder follows Elizabeth and Bria across the bridge.
"Really impressive, the statues and the portal. Looks like we are getting close to something important. Is everybody ready to go in? Liz, is the door safe to open?"
When everyone is ready, Gunder will first cast Guidance on the two people in front, then Virtue.

The wide brass doors swing open on silent hinges to reveal a vast crypt. The only light emanates from a torch mounted above the crypt, flickering with a pale golden fire. Tall pillars march across the chamber, ending at a dais on the far side, on which is set a large stone sarcophagus.
A two forms rests beside each side the coffin, that of a comely woman in tattered clothing and that of a dark skinned woman dressed in priestly robes. Both appear to be asleep or unconscious.

Gunder Undertable |

"We should rule out the possibility that they are undead before approaching them ... Liz, can you zap your wand on one of them? Command her to do something. If she complies, we know she is undead."
Gunder tries to discern, from afar, whether the two women are alive, dead, undead, or illusions.

Aldous Mor'esti |

"Or be waiting for suckers to step in so they can murder us in some fashion. But that's about par for the course down here. Let's proceed, shall we? Carefully, of course..."
Aldous scans the room as far as he can with his own detect magic after recasting it on Dragon as well. He stands ready with his bow, ready to shoot whatever jumps out from hiding.

With Gunder trailing behind, Garuneh and company reach the foot of the dais when a dry, mirthless laugh can be heard from the dark recesses of the tomb.
"So, Kassen’s heroes have come to fight me again. You will make fine minions in my army of the dead. Come and meet your fate!”
With that, a wicked-looking skeleton strides into view wearing polished mail and brandishing a cruel sword in both hands. A cold blue flame burns in its empty eye sockets. Behind him are a pair of skeletons.
Cracking and clanking from the east, as a moan can be heard from a bloated zombie shuffling into view, dressed in pieces of armor. Behind him are a pair of skeletons as well.

"Not good! Not good at all!"
Aldous seems close to panic, surrounded by the undead and wounded gravely.
He attempts to cast protection from evil on himself, defensively. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 vs. DC 17, failing.

Gunder Undertable |

"Thank you for your invitation ... I am sure we would all love to stay and be turned into undead ... but unfortunately, we already have other plans for tonight." says Gunder while slowly backing away.
5-foot step to M53
He stops behind Elizabeth, retrieves the wand that is dangling from her backpack (hopefully not out of his reach) and gives it to her.
"Sorry to rummage through your private things, Liz. But you might want to use this."

Liz, you can't 5' step then do an action that includes movement. The end result won't change here.
Liz drops her bow and is able to duck and dodge through nearly every undead the occupies Kassen's Tomb.
Gunder steps back away from the skeleton before him and is able to retrieve the wand out Liz's backpack. It appears to have been caught on some undergarments, which nearly snap back on the halfling's face. =v)

"We have to get away..." Aldous grunts as he tries to drag the downed dwarven warrior-ess away from the battle.
Might provoke from 1 skeleton, but trying to end my turn by Liz and behind Gunder.

Gunder Undertable |

If everyone gets extra actions, does this mean Aldous can drag Bria two times 5 feet?
When Aldous arrives with dying Bria, Gunder will make a 5-foot-step to not provoke AOOs (to N54, assuming that Bria is at M55 now) and then he will cast his las healing spell on Bria.
