Whoops. Well, Ai'sha might be embellishing the facts a little.
Ai'sha shrugs, drawing her scimitar with one hand and making a delicate gesture with the other, conjuring a puddle of grease under the creatures.

Sorry crap day at work
Aliva looks a bit confused, "You mean for us to attack servants of your Goddess, what if something happens and one of us dies? You will kill us to prove your right so that you feel better about sending us in?" Aliva says unslinging her Cold Iron Morning star.

Hehe had the same thing happen to me with work.
Nak't rushes forward while the others are still trying to talk things through attacking the closest bear-gator creature. He injures the creature some but its natural protection softens some of the blow. Khufu follows behind casting a spell as a wave of flames washes over the clustered foes.

Only one of the gator-bear creatures manages to avoid the worst of the flames while the other two psychomps take the full force of the fire.
Irakelesh moves and takes a shot at the already injured one, that was badly burnt by Khufu's spell and drops the creature to the ground. Ai'sha casts a spell as grease forms under the two remaining creatures.

Both manage to stay on their feet though. Aliva questions the wisdom in all of this but doesn't wish to leave her companions alone in the fight so she joins in, but ends up missing with her swing.
The bear-gator steps forward to attack Khufu after feeling the flames he unleashed.

The thing ravages Khufu with its bite and claws but luckily can't keep a hold of him with his mouth.
The other creature unfurls its black feathered wings and lifts off from the ground the sight is somewhat horrifying. It reaches its hand out and out of nowhere a brutal looking scythe appears as he grasps it in his palm.
Everyone needs a DC17 Will save to avoid being shaken for as long as you are within 30 feet of the flying pyschopomp. It is a fear effect so Nak't is immune and everyone except Irakelesh gets a +4 bonus to your save
He circles around to get to Nak't without opening himself up from attack, flying just off the ground as he attacks.

He steps back away from the bear creature, one hand clutching at his wounds while the other raises to gesture at the bear-thing and unleashes another gout of flame to burn it.

Khufu blasts the one enemy that tore into him, but already knowing his tricks it avoids the worst of the flames. Aliva turns toward the creature that flew beside her and attacked Nak't and strikes out, but as she takes in the thing up close it shakes her up a bit causing her to miss.
Irakelesh is just as shaken but tries taking a shot at the horrible thing, but ends up missing as well. Ai'sha manages to stave off the fear that the creature seems to be imparting to the others but as she steps up to attack the thing bats away her swing with its scythe.
Nak't steps back so he can strike out at the flying creature who tried to attack him, but just barely misses the creature with a powerful blow.
The gator-bear, undeterred in its pursuit of its prey steps up to Khufu and attacks again.

"Well, this has gone on long enough." Irakelesh nods at Nak'T and addresses him in Ancient Osiriani. "Please, dispatch of this crocodile thing. We'll have to keep an eye on Khufu to make sure he doesn't bleed out. I'm going to finish off that abomination over there first."
Irakelesh pauses for a couple seconds to study the flying creature then he drops his bow and pulls a small vial from his belt. With his thumb, he pops the cork stopper off the top of the bottle then downs the blue colored liquid it contains. Irakelesh's body becomes blurry and difficult to look at. He moves towards the flying creature and draws his morningstar en route.

While Ai'sha fights against the flying creature she lands a solid blow, but it barely leaves a scratch as the things skin seems to be resistant to the blow. As Khufu falls, but is stabilized by Sebti the flying creature whistles and says something in a strange language
The bear-gator creature turns its attention away from Khufu on the ground. It does so just in time to avoid Nak't's attack, but Aliva manages to strike it. While the blow is still effective she can see it doesn't do quite as much damage as she would have expected.
Irakelesh drinks a potion then prepares to join the fight in melee.
The pretty badly injured bear-gator lashes out at Aliva since she had actually injured it.

It essentially 5-ft stepped but it was with flight instead of on foot, since it has a fly speed. Also, to note, unlike the bear-gator's that disappeared from the earlier fight, when the one you were fighting just now was brought down it did not disappear like the others.

As Ai'sha withdraws, badly injured, Irakelesh steps up and bashes the thing with his mace. It is a solid blow the the mace just bounces right off leaving no damage as the winged creature gives him a wicked grin.
Nak't and Aliva work together to put an end to the gator-bear creature that dropped Khufu and Sebti casts a spell to stabilize the creature from bleeding out.

"Oh," Irakelesh interjects, "I forgot to tell you all. It works best to attack this thing with adamantine weapons. Everything else just bounces off -- unless you hit it really hard. And same with spells. Especially ones that do cold and electricity damage." Irakelesh cautiously backs away from the creature then pulls a potion from his belt. He downs it quickly.

Ai'sha, staying back from the fight, heals her wounds. While Nak't rushes forward swinging at the vanth, but missing. Aliva blasts the group with a cone of healing energy that heals everyone a bit, but more importantly wakes Khufu up, though he is still pretty badly injured (disabled).
Ai'sha heals more of her wounds repairing most of the damage she had previously received while Nak't continues his flying fight with the Vanth, but is unable to connect. Irakelesh moves up and takes a swing at the vanth but misses as well.
Seeing how easily his scythe sliced into Nak't the vanth decides to try and knock one more out of the fight so it can turn its attention on one of the others.

Nak't swings and misses again these sever injuries from the vanth's scythe obviously throwing off his form. He reaches down to heal some of his wounds but it doesn't do much. Luckily Ai'sha follows it up with more healing.
Irakelesh steps up and swings, but the vanth easily dodges the blow. Aliva tries circling around and while she gets into a flanking position the Vanth takes a swing at her.
