Sorry, guys, I seem to have done something to one of my pinky fingers. I'm going to try to give it a little rest (which is tough considering my job) so may not post for a couple days. Hopefully it heals up quickly. Stupid how much it hurts for such a little thing (and how much I use it when I type).

Apologies. Life stepped in to distract this past week, and we'll have two weekends in October which will see me separated from electronic devices for the extended days- this weekend 4,5,6, and the weekend of the 17, 18, 19, 20, 21...

I'm heading out to visit my parents Wednesday through Saturday. Not sure what my posting opportunities will be there, but I think I likely won't get a chance to post again until Sunday or Monday. Sorry!
If I may be so bold, maybe use this time to figure out what you want to sell and buy and then we'll finish this AP off! Rarified air, especially if you consider we've all stuck around for the entire time. Let's see if we can beat the 7-year mark.

I’m still confused as to why Mal didn’t roll an arcana check two days ago.
If there was a call for an arcana check, I missed it. If your hope was for a snide comment to encourage me to post differently or better, then I regret to say it has the opposite effect. If I’m not playing this game well enough for you, after all these literal years, you’re welcome to run Mal instead.
I’d much prefer to be shown some grace, but maybe you’re right and none’s deserved.

Nah, it’s just a comment on my wishes and how sometimes the game goes slower than we’d like. We’ve been together for so long that I hope you don’t take my comments too seriously. Nothing was intended.

Sorry, some of the slowness is probably my fault. I'm in the midst of a project that's due in very short order, and had to pick up a good chunk of work when another writer flaked out. I've been slammed doing that.
On the bright side, I've just agreed to a new job at work that will send me back to second shift. I found I had FAR more time (or energy, to be more accurate) to post with those hours, so I hope that'll make me more consistent in all my games...

As mentioned, I've just changed back to a second shift at my job; if anything, I think it means I'll likely be a little bit more consistent in posting, though my time of posts will probably switch to most often in the late mornings/early afternoons.
Think we've probably got another month or so to go (depending on our posting rate over the end of December/the holidays).

I will be on vacation Sunday through Thursday. I will try to keep in touch, but if I am slowing you down, NPC me. I plan to try to ice tomb the slimy buggers and Evil Eye big bad Queen if they're gone, focusing on saves.
Would one of you fine folks care to PCPC Pems over the next week (when his turn comes up; he's already acted for this round)? I've already got five guys to deal with, and feel like it's better to have one of you make decisions than the GM in the final fight.

If you will pardon an interloper - I've been stalking this thread for quite some time: it's been one of my favorite reads. You are quite as cast of very well-played characters. Looks like you're winding down, now, and I just wanted to say thanks for the the great reads, and well done, GM and players both!
Everyone deserves a few kudos for actually finishing an AP...
And Tsin, that boon request - epic. Just epic.
Sorry for intruding, and thanks!

Well, gentlemen, it's Feb. 11, 2020. Just about 7 years ago -- Feb. 17, 2013 -- I wrote the first post that set us out on this journey.
I think it's pretty awesome that we're now in the rare group that have finished an AP. I wonder how many long-term APs have made it to the end (as opposed to those who somehow do them in a matter of months). And done it with all their original participants. I suspect that's probably a little rare even in face-to-face gaming.
It's been a great group of characters and players, and I think we've had some killer moments on the way. I hope you've all enjoyed it as much as I have, and I'll miss this game.
I'll still do one last wrap-up post before we end, but I think I'd like to close the campaign on Monday. I like that symmetry.

You are, and were, an officer and a gentleman, sir GM. I salute you and the rest of the our merry band of miscreants. It's been a very fun journey from locksmith to lord of winter, and I've enjoyed the path. And the finding.

Indeed, this game has well and truly been a delight. I've played a lot of D&D and Pathfinder over the years, but this game will always be special. Thanks to each of you for making it what it was! And an extra tip of the hat to you, Mott. You ran a joy of a game here, my friend.

I can’t argue or top any of this. You all have been amazing from start to finish. This has been a good AP, made even better that it was the same crew all the way through. That’s pretty rare.
Mal, usually, I would never suggest that people who have active animal companions or familiars in games: it just takes too much time and energy to manage and post two personalities. But you and Zeno did a great job all the way through.
+1 to Tsin for the dip into Inquisitor. I know it seems silly to praise a mechanical choice, but I feel it changed her as a character for the better, and that jump really impacted her character and set a new tone. Way to be bold with a butcher.
Quinn, I owe you more than ever before. I hope we get to hang at a PaizoCon again.
Pems, f%~+ing witches, man. If Hektir ever really realized you were a witch, we may never have finished...and Flash would be soup. But nah, you had fun with it all.
Motte, you already know what I think. Thank you again. I remember our start in all this, your start in all this. It’s been a good ride and we’re not done yet, are we?
