Old man, sorry I missed Harold's note sent by PM the other night. I did get it now.
Guys, I am having trouble getting PMs. I was finally able to get Harold's note by opening it as a new webpage, but I have a couple more that won't even open that way. The link just returns me to my PM inbox.
Is anyone else having trouble?

If you have any questions about gameplay, please send me a PM, and I will answer your question for everyone in discussion, but I will keep the source of the question anonymous. I will also rephrase questions to differ from the asker's style.
Remember that Criminals are ironically the civilian role for this game, and the Undercover Cops are the enemy role.

Question: What order are the results resolved in?
Answer: The lynch is always first. The Nullifier's effect is resolved. The Enforcer protection is activated. The mafia vote and results occurs. The bloodhound scan results occurs at the same time as the Scout watch.
The scout's watch succeeds even on a dead target.

"After these events that have just transpired,
you claim that I'm nothing but a liar?
While that is usually true,
I've always been truthful to you,
and that's why my pants aren't on fire!"
Gotta admit, this made me lol.
Here's a handy resource so you can bump gums like an egg.

Question: How does the scout watching work?
Answer: The scout discovers the name of anyone who targeted their target in the same round.
If the scout targets A, the scout is told anyone who targeted A, whether it is a criminal or cop doing the target. Cop kill vote counts as a targeting ability. If a character is targeting A with two powers, the scout is notified only once.
The scout does not discover anything about their target. If A targets anyone else, the scout does not discover it. If A targets themselves, then the scout will receive A's name.

Question: Can information be passed on after death, via sealed note?
Answer: No. You cannot pass information after death. You could leave a spoilered post, but people could choose to peek.
The only exception is that you can PM me a death speech if you think you are likely to be lynched, which I will post during the end of round results, but that must still be sent to me before the results of the lynch.
You can also provide a note to the another player, and they may choose to reveal your note at will. You cannot prompt them to reveal it after death, as that would be considered cheating, since the dead cannot influence the results of the rounds.

Question: How does the scan resolve?
Answer: I roll 1d4. If it comes up 1, the scan is a failure, otherwise it is a success. If it is a failures, I check all surviving roles and one is chosen at random. That is the result returned to the person with the investigative role.
This list does include the investigator's own role, so the only situation where you'll know for certain your scan is failed is if you scan someone else as your own role.

I've realized that I might be out on Monday night, due to it being Halloween. I will extend this week's deadline to Tuesday at 6pm MST, since I won't be able to update the board at the proper time and I don't want to have to freeze things for hours at a time. I know there's enough anxiety in this game without it!

That brings Speakeasy to a close, with the cop side winning.
As usual, I kept a scoresheet. Feel free to discuss any post game thoughts!
If you have any ideas for how to improve the games in the future, please let me know, and I hope you enjoyed Meowselsworth's Speakeasy!
If you have thoughts for future themes, I'm interested in hearing them.

Sorry for the deceptions. There was nothing personal in the targeting, and we did get lucky. Round two we had Geoff in our sights, but when he accused Jimmy we had to switch and picked Mike at random. Harold was another lucky guess.
PMs were really useful for communication with Kitty. We were able to coordinate our efforts and share ideas.
I had been afraid that I'd be deluged with PMs and wouldn't be able to respond to them all. I was also terrified that there were sharks swimming in a whirlpool of PMs swirling around me in the eye.

Damn it, I was protecting him that round. :(
As for PM's, I did a load to everyone. I did get a sense it was Kitty (& Jimmy), but.... wasn't sure then the votes swung away.

Geoffrey's declaration looked like a bluff and a bid for protection. We figured the Enforcer would protect him after that and leave the coast clear for us to hit others. Harold was kind of a guess, but he got very quiet after roles were assigned, so thought he might be a special. Of course, sometimes people get quiet because they are busy, so counting on posting frequency is unreliable.
^^Using the royal "we" in that paragraph. ^^
Why did you suspect Kitty (& Jimmy), DSX?

Well I hoped the scanner would scan Geoffrey & find my role as I protected him - thus it was a clever plan from G/pin.
As for why I suspected you, you were very quite with giving any theories or plans... or even for whom to vote. Some of Jimmy's PM's were quite specific, and if I was cleverer (or more focused) I might got it together more efficiently.
My plan was to point at Rick & swap to Jimmy, but then Corbyn voted with me and left his vote in limbo. With Rick & Kitty voting to at least save Rick - there was no way I to turn it to someone who wasn't Corbyn
