I've added a timeline of important events for Quiahar in his character profile. (I still need to update his background, as some changes have been made based on a need for higher understanding. :P) However, the character's ideals, philosophies, and mental realities are very much in place (thanks to a group of inquisitive co-inspirers).

It's a cheerful morning in the Bazaar of Sails. A crisp port breeze, the hustle and bustle of the colorful people that are frequenting the merchants, all of these things bring a brief smile to the warrior's face as he briefly muses on simpler times and how much more he would have enjoyed a visit here if he weren't on a greater mission. But, as port life in the Expanse had taught him, life was never, ever fair. Ooh hoo hoo! But what was fair was that sweets vendor. Sweet cakes and tepache were the pitfalls he could never avoid, and well he shouldn't if he were to maintain his health and love for simple things. After a small indulgence in both (and a little bit extra for the industrious vendor), as well as the cleansing of sticky fingers, he headed down the way, on a search for knowledge, adventure, or whatever else might strike his fancy on such a nice day.
"Blessings of the spirits," Tabansi muttered under his breath as he found the Assorted Academicals. These shops were so much harder to find than the arrangement of merchants of Senghor. Stepping through the doors of the shop, he grins. Socializing was not his best skill, but books...now those were something that had begun to make great sense. They were somewhat common at home, but oh was this shop a treasure trove of spirit knowledge and all sorts of esoterica.
And what to his wandering eyes should appear but a strange, short, boisterous sort and an individual who even a blind man in the Eye could see was visibly touched by the spirits. That was the sort that was much more interesting than a book or a scroll. Those things would be available today, tomorrow, and probably a century from now, but a living being...well those passed in the wind like a slaver ship through port.
Shifting the shark-toothed blade on his back slightly to one side, he takes measured, even steps towards the small grouping, making equally sure not to surprise them with his more...savage appearance nor damage any of the "academicals."

Not an easy task, you all did a fantastic job with your characters and I appreciate the effort. I hope you find interesting adventure in other threads very soon.
For now we're going to see what happens with the following three characters joining the team:
Zora Julija Narcisa
Mariah
Sawib Tabansi
Again, thanks all.
