Just a note: they are many spiders in that room, but they aren't a swarm. It seems that the room is full of the little spiders.
Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.
Well for our convenience they better burn to death, if not mostly, before we set another foot in there.
"Alright, let's wait for a minute and check it again.
With that many webs, surely there should be some casualties, leaving us less spiders to clean up."

"The torch goes in first, and any oil if any gots some. I close the door and we lets it burn for a minute or two. If anything comes out from under the door, use the alchemist's fire. Of if we open the door and find a problem, use the alchemist's fire."
Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.
Katara chucked in a torch, and Walter's got an alchemist fire at the ready in case any came underneath the door.

I don't know. Are mages flammable?
Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.
(Frowns at the remark)
Only my temper, maybe....but robes in general, yes.
You send a burning torch flying inside the room.
Soon, some tiny spiders get under the door.
Then more spiders.
Then even more...
Spiders, spiders everywhere!
You got 1 round to act before the swarm forms and attacks
Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.
"Walter, ready that flask!"
Mary taps Walter for guidance, and takes distance from the door.

"Fall back! Everyone, fall back!" Meurasod slowly backtracked a few steps away from the door as the spiders began to pour out.
The spiders pour indeed...the writhing mass seems to sense your presence, and hunt you.

Cringing at the biting she would uncork the oil and pours it out where she is at before stepping out of the swarm swatting off the bugs. "Catch that damn oil on fire."
Back! Walter, I gave your HP back, and put the damage on Meurasold, who was the closest to the door.
The swarm is now fully formed, but diminished by the fire, nearly halved.
Meurasold starts to retreat, while Aralu takes a torch in her backpack.
Mary and Zurka waits, perhaps not sure about what to do next...

Good idea here Katara. Zurka will amend his actions to light Aralu's torch instead.

Walter is caught by surprise when Meurasod runs towards him for help and soon after the lobs his vial above the dwarf, he moves forward to help him get rid of the reminiscent spiders. "Hum... not that I'm complaining... but next time should be a nice idea to ask the ladies for help... when I need someone touching me a lot, I always try the ladies first..."
"Well..." Walter scratches his goatee, "... it could have gone better but it also could have gone faaar worse."

Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.
Zurka would have had more a chance with his previous picture. ^^
