Kori's brow is set in a hard line. She does not know nor care for whoever the gnolls have captured, but cares even less for the filthy creatures themselves. "I don't care if we help, but we can move closer as he suffers under cover of his screams. We will likely have to save Lizard-friend from his foolish decision though, and if captured they might learn about us by torturing him." Kori ceases sneaking to move at a faster pace, but she is by no means rushing to help the prisoner as much as using the convenient distraction to cover more ground.

So there he goes again...
The Dwarf shakes his head at the headstrong humans actions but seeing that they are now risking to break cover Angmar joins Kori in a stealthy approach. This might get ugly quickly and Angmar didn't come here to die a hero but to save a long time friend and gettting cut up by 15 Gnolls would not help his purpose.

Apollo runs off recklessly, jumping off of the top of the gatehouse and running down the road and rounding the corner, running straight for one group of gnolls, who notice him and howl, slavering with hunger for flesh. The other group down the road notices the howl, and their eyes travel from the first gnoll group to Apollo, and then to the others.
After their warning howl, the gnolls begin to lope towards Apollo, and after just a few seconds they've grown pretty close to one another.
Combat begins! Because he's running, and I'm gonna say it's been a few rounds of movement, Apollo is about 60 feet ahead of the other PCs, and the first group of gnolls is about 40 feet away from him. The second group is 3 rounds away. The gnoll watchman is 4 rounds away.

Running further and further away from the group, it would appear that Apollo's rage was taking over, as his blood surged through his body, pumping harder and faster through all of his pent up anger he'd been carrying ever since the loss of his village and those he loved within.
As the Gnoll's notice the man, he screams wildly at them with a savagely deep pitch, with his only goals to terrify and batter the feral dogs that stood before him.
He's running towards the rear guard, out of reach of the others, aiming to pick one off at a time.

IT'S TIME TO PUT YOU ALL DOWN! he shouts as his enemies prepare themselves for action.
leinathan
Apollo, you can't really run at the rearguard, as you don't have enough movement to run towards the group and all the way around. I'll have you hitting the guy in front.
Apollo's screaming rage and charge into action sends the also-charging gnolls a beat backwards, but they're too empowered by blood lust to stop, and the group and Apollo clash, with Apollo swinging his hammer powerfully right into the head of the lead gnoll, taking out most of its bone structure and sending brains splattering.
The gnolls respond in kind, readying their shields and pulling out battleaxes with which to deal with the human who's just killed their leader. They close in on him and each chop in. Apollo comes out worse for the wear when two of them carve deeply into his flesh.
Apollo takes 17 damage from the two axe hits.

Lein, they drew and readied shields, and drew a weapon, and closed in on him, and attacked? Isn't that at best 2 moves a 5' step and a standard? Or is some of it just flavor that sounded like more actions?
Kori, true to her intentions, just moves up toward the fight at a casual pace. She is neither rushing nor taking her time.
Double-move to get 60' closer
EDIT: Okay, I figured I'd check. Hoping it could help avoid some of the damage, maybe avoid a suicide by Gnoll.

Some of it was flavor that sounded more like actions. They already had their weapons and shields drawn, it was more like taking a better grip on it and getting in the battle-mood. Plus, they didn't really need to move to attack, as Apollo's right in their face.

Koritylija
If we are waiting for Hatim, can I just go for her since she is not near a computer?
If so, she would move just within 40' of the lead of the next group. Since they are 1 round away, (meaning 60' with a double move or 30' with a single, I think?) she would either only move 20' or back 10'. If it's more than that, she would move and ready for when he was 40'. Then she would bomb the group.
Ranged Touch the lead one 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 6 - 2 = 14 (range increment penalty applied). Hatim, running past the closer group of gnolls, palms small stoppered vial. Pulling the stopper, he tosses it, and its viscous contents slosh around in-flight before their arrival on the lead gnoll's chest, whereupon it detonated in a violent, fiery explosion. The gnolls at his sides are too taken aback by the attack that they don't even think to dodge.
Dmitri charges forward, Tempest in hand, and cuts a long slice across the torso of the only remaining healthy gnoll.
Lying alone on the ground some ways away, the bleeding Apollo breathes a little easier. His blood clots just fast enough to ensure that he won't die right then.
Although their leader is staggering from the blast of Hatim's grenade, the second group of gnolls charges into battle. Approaching Kori, the only standing one to have killed one of their kin, two of them bring battleaxes to bear on her.
One joins his injured packmate in attacking Angmar, while the one Dmitri engaged fights back.
Their retaliation leaves wounds, as each of the combatants is injured by one battleaxe blow. Dmitri is taking 11 damage, Kori is also taking 11, and Angmar is taking 9.

As Dmitri sliced through the air and cleaved a piece of flesh from the gnoll, he couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of it. But what was this? Time slowed down a bit as he turned to see the Axe, it was somewhat well-made. It certainly felt well-made as well, as it would be the first thing so far to have pierced him, but there was something off about it.
Oh wait, that's right, it was sinking into the side of his neck. With that realization, Dmitri ducked away, feeling the cool crimson slither down his back and side, staining a section of his hair. These gnolls, they were effective at what they did. Whether they were just getting lucky or not remained to be seen...
Regardless of any of this, Dmitri could feel his bloid boil as it left his body. An overbearing sense of happiness washed over him as he surged dark energies within his hand and made an attempt to end the beast in front of him's pitiful life accompanied with a triumphant roar.
The Tendrils that came from his fist this time coagulated with the blood from his neck in a glorious frenzy of sadism and joy as it plunged forward toward the weakened gnoll's chest.

Update time!
Still enraged with Apollo for dragging them into this battle, Kori desperately strikes at the gnolls around her. Distracted by the dwarf fighting behind him, the gnoll drops its guard enough to be struck by her longsword, while her kick to the other one drops it to its knees, so strong was the kick.
Angmar strikes again at the one he's just struck, hitting it solidly in the chest and sending it sprawling to the ground, blood leaking from its mouth.
Hatim cocks his arm back and throws another bomb at the second group's leader, resulting in another loud explosion. After the smoke clears and the fire's calmed down, bits and pieces of gnoll rain from the sky.
Grim thoughts on his mind and a sadistic grin on his face, Dmitri closes in on the gnoll he's just been fighting, dark energies cloaking his hand. The gnoll scoffs at him - what could a bare (well, gauntleted) hand do to a warrior like him, after all? Dmitri touches him and he falls to the ground.
Slowly realizing they're out of their element, are somewhat reluctant with their blows as they continue combat, and they are just short of their opponents. Looking between each other, the savage creatures realize how injured (and now outnumbered) they are, and back up a few steps, shields and axes still held to the ready.

Ripping his hand out of the gnoll in front of him, the blood trail follows his hand as he grasps his scythe. Glee-struck, he turns on his heel, and dances towards Koritylija, swirling the scythe in an uncouth bliss, slicing astutely at one of the gnolls near her.
He prattles, spinning the blade around his neck needlessly as he loses himself in the enjoyment of the sudden carnage he'd not expected; loosing it from the dance, he savagely plunges his weapon into the beast, felling it.
As he drives the weapon deep in the dog's chest, his grin has turned into a wide smile, and a look of pure joy graces his face. As the blood sputters onto his face, and the red succor drips from his right hand, he throws his hair back with a strong flick of it. "This, this I can get used to! Come! Come in droves you lemmings!"
Plunging the weapon deeper into the creature's chest before yanking it forcefully out, he cackles as the arc of red floods over him, staining his hair once again.
It was a blissful moment, though he was ashamed to have lost himself in such debauchery, somewhat. In the twilight of his mind, he fancied a bath, but at the forefront? Wicked amounts of sadism to be done...

Oh, you meant for this next round, yes, that's doable.
Hatim cocks a hand back, and taking a moment to calculate the relative positions of his allies, throws a bomb. The bomb explodes, but only in three directions, whisking two of the gnolls out of this realm of existence.
The final gnoll falls to its knees as Dmitri towers over him. Feebly offering money, women, power, it has not time enough before Dmitri sinks the blade of his scythe into its torso.
Still more than a hundred feet away, the gnoll watchman and his watchdogs turn tail and begin sprinting in the opposite direction. Even a gnoll knows better than to take on several opponents at once by itself.

Do we go back to the big fancy house and see if they are looking for us, or take that weakling from the stables back to Head-woman, and wait a bit before coming back?"

Dmitri casually simmers down as the situation calms. He bathes in the afterglow, enjoying the running of his sweet succor. That is called somewhat... questionably, however, as his gaze suddenly sets on Apollo. Himself being injured was of no consequence, and he rather enjoyed it, but Kori had been injured as a result of his own impertinence, this Apollo...
He starts to walk up to the man as he lay down, finally gasping for air as he comes to, intestines slowly drinking themselves back into his gut. "I believe you owe the lot of us an apology, Apollo. The only reason I stay my discontempt with your current affairs is because lady Koritylija has already vented out our unanimous irritance with the situation." he says while he cleans his scythe with the arm of his coat.
As the man stumbles to his feet, Dmitri goes through the trouble of tying his hair into a pontytail, crimson at the tip like some kind of weird paintbrush.
As he does; "I am aware of your discontempt for gnolls and the like, but if your hatred of them, or rather, your lust for killing them is so out of hand, then I advise you not be the one to scout ahead, lest you end up as a dumb skull on a post." he says as he finishes his hair, crossing his arms and looking down at him.

You haven't gotten even close to him. You're on the beginning of the roundabout path that leads to the Battle Market's entrance, and he's right at the entrance.
The human's screams ring through the air as Apollo gasps for breath, holding his ribs for comfort in the pain and opening his eyes. He sits up a bit, just propping himself up on his arms, rubbing his torso. "Owwww."

As Apollo comes to, his vision slightly blurred, still fading in and out of consciousness for a few moments, focusing and then losing track of the conversation around him, he tries to make sense of the parties words.
"fool! here, rough day so far. we go back fancy house? see if looking for us? wait?" he hears from Kori.
Looking up he can see Angmar holding his hands above him, saying something but he's not quite sure what, though soon realises Angmar's healing him.
I.....fell?......To them?
As the man clambers to his feet, Dmitri, a man who although different, he felt friendship towards, approached and asked for an apology.
But....I got them right? I got a few before I went down right? I hit one hard, that's for sure. His skull was no more, but after that? It's a blur.
I...I thought I had them. The first one went down with such ease. I guess they could read me as well as I could them...and their numbers....I should....I should have waited for the others.
Looking around and seeing the discomfort he'd caused to those travelling with him, the man stood shocked, surprised for several moments that he'd fallen to those he hated most.
Angmar.....Yea. I'm sorry friend. I...I should have waited for the rest of you. In a one on one fight, maybe even two on one, I'd have won, but I was outnumbered and my pride took over. I guess it's hard for me... he then turns and speaks to the rest of the group. But, for what they did to those I grew up with and cared for...I can't let them get away with their bulls**t. I'm so feckin' tired of watching as those are tortured around me....and now? Now I'm no good even to you guys. My hammer hits like a comet, but in my weakened state it'd be suicide going toe to toe with an enemy. I realise that now, but...I fear I can't support you as well as I'd have liked as a result.
As Apollo picks up his bloodied hammer, he looks at it intently, then slings it over his back, pulling his now scuffed bow and arrow from his shoulder.
From now on, I'll work in unison with you and if I scout ahead, I'll report back immediately instead of letting my own anger and issues control me. I know it'll be hard, but the only thing I can now do is cover you from a distance until I've regained my strength.
The man sighs with a slight sarcastic chuckle.
Heh, well you know I can fight, but I guess I've proven that I don't know when to stop either. It's funny, in running to someone elses aid, you all ran to mine. Thanks....and sorry for endangering you all with my own stupidity. I just wanted to save that man, and didn't care how many Gnoll's were in my way. I hate them all, and any excuse to smash their skulls in, I'll take.

Kori nods with Short-legs' suggestion, "Regroup and plan sounds good to me too, but like I asked before. Where? We wanna stay and hope we don't get found, or do we want to return to the big church and Head-woman?"
Dmitri Mavis
Apollo's shrugging off of the situation, while it may have seemed proper to him, wasn't much for Dmitri. Alas, he scoffed at the idea of scolding him a second time and would much prefer to have the lot of them lick their wounds. "I bid we return, but I would much prefer to inform the good insert harpy name here of our delay." He stated.
Angmar Firefox
Angmar merely nods to Apollo. Everyone deserves a second chance after all. He hopes the strong man will make use of this one.
The church is too far out of town. We can stay with Dimitri's harpy friend. I still have some magic and some simple healing to get us patch up and after a night of rest and prayer we can move back out again...
Dmitri Mavis
"I believe Angmar's plan is reasonable, if only because she is our closest ally." he states, looking back toward the dwelling. "Perhaps we should also check on the dusty old man as well? We aren't able to save that man there, but I suspect that worse things go on here than that."
Koritylija
Kori shakes her head, "Hey if Pain-lover wants to go back for another night of whatever that was, that's all him. I'm still not staying at her place. We found that fancy house with no one in it, locked up tight. I'd rather stay there than at the mill across from the bird-woman. Anyways, we told the guy we found to stay there, and we would meet there when we called it a night."

Angmar was already getting rather impatient and ready to break in the door but luckily it opend on it's own.
