Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Sanita, excited to know the answer to a question, points at one of the few people she knows. "Oh, oh! I know that one, that's him over there!" She then turns back to her conversation, bouncing on her feat a little, feeling a bit more at home now.

Masamura Yoshirou |

Masamura stares at the strange woman for a minute before shaking his head while moving over to Oleg."You are Oleg correct? Can you point me to either a Hunting, Scouting, or some other working group I might be of aid to?"

Anastacia Stormwing |

Great, this lass isn't a highborn southerner... just a southerner. Bah! At least that Fhârn fellow seems to be from up north. “Always nice to have a Faithful of the Spire around. Meself, I give my prayers to Old Deadeye, and I’m damn happy to have someone who wishes to keep dead things dead.” he says showing a very simplistic way of thinking about Pharasmins.“I gather you folks had quite an adventure down here, ah? Bandits and whatnots. And kobolds, I heard? Never seen one of those, just tales from Old Man Greg back home. May I ask what your plans for the future are, Miss? Seems I got a bit lucky running into your group when coming down south, I’d sure hate to waste the occasion to participate in some fine adventure!”
"We are having this meeting to sort out what our next moves are to be. In general I imagine we will continue to move against the bandits. That last bunch of them turned out to be very tough. I think we will need every willing adventurer that we can recruit to beat this so called Stag Lord."
Anastacia's hand goes to her holy symbol, that hangs from a leather thong around her neck."By Pharasma's grace we have found none of the undead abominations. So that is a good thing."
The young woman smiles, perhaps a bit ruefully. It did seem like Felix's band had had the more fantastic time of it. Battling bandits was pretty mundane, even if you did very nearly lose the fight.
I was not with the group that dealt with the kobolds, so I have not met one either." Anastacia shrugs."I've always heard that kobolds were of the same ilk as goblins, basically. I guess I'll have change my way of thinking about them."

Dante Skyborn |

Dante finishes his brandy with Kessen and Jhod, and then set about the throng of folk searching for Felix. Finding his friend, Dante puts his head down to the Presumably shorter mans shoulder so Felix doesn't have to look up and so that their conversation isn't overheard. "My lord, if I may, I know we've just returned and all are bustling over the tales and new friends, but I must point out a pressing matter. Everyday , every hour we wait is time for the Stag lord to rally more to his cause, everyday we increase the risk to ourselves. Prudence says strike now while the ingrates are weakened and on their heels."
With that he straightens and picks up a mug of ale from an adjacent table. "Unless you're giving me direct control over this particular mission, the order would be best served coming from you." The large man adds, his military nature and training apparent in his way of thinking.

Dareon Lebeda |

"As you say it is, I've only been aware of it really for the last 4 to 5 years. My first teachers were actually Wizards in Vigil, they taught me how to handle the magic within me. Though they were not as sure as to where my powers came from exactly, I would hazard a guess myself. You shouldn't feel that jealous sir Dareon, though I might have an innate ability for magic, you gained it through discipline. Your future is mostly your own doing, my future is still riddled with questions."
As the young lady walks away, Dareon mutters a bit to himself and a bit to the weasel wrapped around his neck. "If only my past had been my own doing."
He shakes his head to shake the dark reverie off before looking up to realize that he's alone - his erstwhile speaking companions have all wandered off.
"Oh." he says, sadly.

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

Wilhelm smiles and nods, pleased, as Dante, Lanya (he returns her grin and shrugs innocently) and Anastacia throw their support behind his interest in the leadership role. This seems to be going rather better then last time. I'm curious what the others have to say... As the group's meeting seems to lose steam amid the chaos of the new arrivals, Wilhelm decides that any further decisions will be delayed for a time.
If it isn't clear below, I'm walking up to Dareon. :)
Standing, he glances around the room before his eyes settle on one of the newcomers. The man seems to be standing on his own, looking forlorn, with a weasel (of all things!?) on his shoulder. Making a snap judgement, Wilhelm wanders over to the man casually and, hand extended, says, "Hail friend! My apologies earlier if I seemed a bit brusque. A few matters of some import to the charter needed talking about and I wasn't sure I should be the one to reveal them to the world. My name is Wilhelm, a lord of the house Orlovsky. Might I have the pleasure of making your acquaintance? And, if not too much trouble, might I ask about the little creature you seem to have befriended?"

Dareon Lebeda |

Dareon saw the paladin coming, and patiently awaited the man's introduction. Inwardly, though, he was fidgeting constantly. It's rude to interrupt people, but damn was it difficult.
"Hello!" says Dareon, taking the warrior's hand and shaking it weakly. "Good to meet you, Lord Wilhelm. I am Dareon. Do not feel the need to apologize for needing to keep your secrets. They are your own, and it is not my place to intrude."
"This is Molly, my companion. She keeps me company, and I daresay having her around sharpens my senses." Taking a moment to transition Molly from around his neck to his forearm, he holds his forearm with his other arm to keep it upright and holds it forward, towards Wilhelm.
The weasel sniffs the paladin's face, then inspects it curiously. After a moment, she turns around, returning to Dareon's shoulder with a subtle nod of her head.
Dareon smiles at this. "She likes you! And I see you have companions of your own. As I understand it, you're some sort of...exploring group? May I be so bold as to ask if you have need for an arcanist? I've long desired to explore these lands, but their danger is well-known."

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

Wilhelm listens politely as Dareon introduces himself and his minute companion. He chuckles at the gentle tickling of Molly's whiskers, charmed by the performance. Still amused, he looks thoughtful for a brief moment before replying, "Yes, I suppose you could say we're a sort of exploring group. We've certain goals beyond that as well, and we are short on magical prowess at the moment. The lands have proven themselves worthy of their reputation, so I should think you'd be welcome to join us. Have you had the occasion to meet Felix?" Wilhelm gestures towards his cousin, still sitting the midst of the group. "If not, it might be best if I introduce you. As it stands, we still contend for the leadership role and it seems prudent that you've met the both of us. Care to join me?"

Dareon Lebeda |

"I have not, replies Dareon, Only Lanya, the young sorceress." Following the nobleman, Dareon's hairs stand up all over his body. Inside, a smaller, mental version of him is jumping up and down, up and down, up and down in excitement.

Felix Sebastian Orlovsky |

Felix responds in a practiced low modulated voice, the kind used in court to speak without drawing undo attention to oneself. "We will need to proceed carefully, as it stands Wilhelm is the clear lead by popular vote, but I would hazard a guess he has no where near the support back home that Vicktor had and that was all that allowed the popular vote to tip the scales as it were. It will most likely take all of our force to destroy this bandit threat not to mention we will still need to comb the land for every little thing of interest, we don't want some coven of witches or cave full of talking bear men to escape our notice and destroy Oleg's while we are away. There is also that map that we should find the tree for out here in this wilderness. Ahh and it looks like my dear cousin is bringing over one of the newcomers, we are also going to have to watch those in case one is a plant from the Staglord." Felix puts on a warm welcoming smile, or as warm and welcoming as he ever manages, and faces Wilhelm and Dareon as they come closer.
"I see you bring someone new to our little southern home away from home. Care to join us cousin, you can introduce your new friend to the everyone."

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

Just a thought, but if you actually mention to Wilhelm that the support of the patrons back in Restov will matter, he'll recognize you clearly have their support and that yielding the command to you makes sense. :)
"Excellent! That would be him standing next to the mountain of a man, sir Dante Skyborn." Wilhelm leads the shorter arcanist towards his cousin. Nodding his head politely, he breaks out in a grin as he says, "Much obliged, Felix. It is my pleasure to introduce Daereon, venerable arcanist and potential companion." Wilhelm gestures to each man in turn as he says, "Dareon, may I present Lord Felix Orlovsky, a man of similarly mystical persuasion. Lord Dante Skyborn, terror in combat and a man with a head for tactics if ever I've met one. Master Dantalion, expedition falconer, tracker and archer of no small repute. Cousin, Dareon has expressed some interest in joining our band of daring adventurers. Given the current... uncertainty surrounding our band's leadership, I thought it would be premature to make a formal offer without seeking consensus."

Bej Vanskian |

"I was not with the group that dealt with the kobolds, so I have not met one either." Anastacia shrugs."I've always heard that kobolds were of the same ilk as goblins, basically. I guess I'll have change my way of thinking about them."
“Aye, if half the tales the old folks told are true, maybe you are better off not meeting them. But I guess you never know until you try.” he sits down in front of the cleric.
“Anyway, I wouldn’t want to distract you from your meeting. You folks seem to have done a great deal of good down here, to lend ear to the traveling folks, so I guess I should just count myself lucky I ran into you. Keep me in mind when you are done and go back out there. In the meantime, if any of you is bored and wishes to join me for a friendly match, just to stretch the mind…” Bej gets his wooden chessboard out of the backpack and starts positioning the pieces, studying a couple of moves if no one joins him.
__________
So… who is still at the tables outside? I’m having trouble following 13 PCs + NPCs

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Sanita, Lanya, and Rowan are near the tables, if I followed it correctly, when Rowan led Sanita to 'free' food.

Fhârn |

Fhârn nods understandingly as Lanya takes of to handle other matters. Bej's offer seems intruegeing enough - and a little ordered game in all this chaos couldn't be wrong.
"I'll play with you! Haven't touched a chessboard in ages mind you, and when I did I played with my siblings..." He grins as he recalls the games they used to play. Well, or toy around with atleast. Laughing he continues "I can't say outsmarting them was a great feat thou"
He sits down opposite to Bej and helps him set up the pieces. The raven accompanying him helps to set up a few pawns before losing interest. The bird instead spends his time watching the crowd.
"Black or white my friend?"
I have to admit that I too have a hard time keeping track on everything. Just one of the hazards of large pbp parties I think - but on the bright side there is always something to respond to or do

Dareon Lebeda |

I'm actually unsure that it matters WHERE one is. I've just been picking individuals to talk to and continuing talking to them until they wander off. It'll get easier to keep track of where we are when we split up, or during kingdom downtime.

Dante Skyborn |

Dante bows to Dareon as Wilhelm introduces him and smiles for a brief moment at the praise from the young paladin. "Well met Dareon. Our group can always use the versatility that the arcane can offer."
I think the confusion is coming from the fact that there are tables in the trading post and picnic tables outside by the fire, which is where I was with Kessen(NPC) and Jhod(NPC) until I walked back into Oleg's and started talking with Felix, and now Dareon and Wilhelm. But as Dareaon said, it doesn't much matter in the current setting.

Dareon Lebeda |

Dareon smiles and begins bouncing on his heels, which makes his bow uncomfortable and far more difficult than it needed to be. "I'd be honored to provide what support I could in exchange for your protection exploring these lands."

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

"Wonderful, I'm glad to hear my compatriots are in agreement. Magical prowess is indeed a mighty boon for our cause. Pray tell though, what brought you to our merry band? Surely the Swordlords aren't still making proclamations throughout Brevoy?" Wilhelm inquires of Dareon while glancing casually from the shorter man to his cousin and back.
Fair warning, I'm probably going to misspell your name a few times Dareon. I have an Elven conjurer named Daeron in another PBP so I tend to like to type that name instead.

Dareon Lebeda |

Not a problem at all :D So many of my characters are named Dareon, and my actual name gets misspelled a lot, so I'm quite used to it.
"Wanderlust, I'm happy to say," replies Dareon. "Desna called, and I answered. Not only that, but I've heard quite a few formidable rumours about this place, and a few intriguing ones. What explorer could resist the lure of a land filled with as much mystery as this one is? Where else can a man find thousands of square miles of the unknown?"
Beaming broadly, Dareon answers himself. "Nowhere."
It helps that Dareon's not a druid and doesn't have the "Resist Nature's Lure" ability :D
Bluff: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Felix Sebastian Orlovsky |

I see how it is Dareon, forget everyone else is here for this conversation. Don't give anyone else a sense motive.
"Well then welcome to our little band of bandit slayers and wilds tamers. The arcane is an interesting subject all though I have little dealing in it myself, I find my calling wielding the powers of my lady Shei and her eternal mysteries. It is good to have new people with new ways of looking at life, gains us perspective wouldn't you say?"

Dareon Lebeda |

I didn't actually remember who all I was talking to, okay? D: Make that Sense Motive if you like.

Dareon Lebeda |

"Perspective is always a benefit," says Dareon, to the mystic. "Especially in a voyage with such grand intentions as I understand yours does."

Anastacia Stormwing |

Anastacia would have been pleased to join Bej in his game, she had passed long winter evening over a chess board, back at the abby. Unfortunately, there is still much business to discuss.
"Perhaps another time." She tells Bej, with a smile to show she means it.
Moving over to where Wilhelm, Felix and Dante are she states. "Our meeting seems to have fallen apart. These new people may be just what we need, though. They all seem like they want to join our band, and we need the replacements."
Anastacia draws her breath and gives both Felix and Wilhelm a stern gaze. "We did not take a complete vote. That is business that must be finished. Once that is done, we need to decide if we want to add these new folks to our number. There are other matters as well..."
Noting Dareon standing there, Anastacia tells him: "Sorry if I seem rude, but it these are matters that need handling, and it seems our meeting has lost the trail."

Masamura Yoshirou |

Masamura walks up to Anastacia before Oleg even gets the chance to reply."So I am guessing you finally chose a leader? If not who has the most support from your benefactors? That seems like it would be pretty important."

Lanya Beladon Medvyed |

Lanya removes herself from Sanita's and Rowan's company and follows suit as to listen what the large group is conversing about.
"Well now my silent friend," She says as she puts a hand on his shoulder, "It's not quite certain as to who has the most support as our previous leader has only been away a few days, I doubt even my letter has reached it's destination yet."
She turns to the rest as she heard a little of Anastacia's comment.
"Anastacia is right, though we might await word from Restov before we finish this. I'd suggest short hunting and exploration trips, hunt that large boar, explore around Oleg's seems like a good idea and perhaps any other things we could do for local men around here."
I don't think Lanya has heard about Jhod Kavken yet, so she doesn't know about the temple and possible bear, else she would have said so.
"To that end we need to form up groups again, different groups than before. Also our new friends; Sanita, Bej, Dareon, Fhârn and this man here, whose name must've slipped my ears as easily as he slid away, seem to want and able to contribute to our success of our group here. I'd ask you why would we turn them down on that offer?"

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Sanita watches Lanya breaks off conversation and walks over to join another conversation, and frowns.
She sniffs at her clothing, and then turns to Rowan. Assuming he's still there. "So, did I step in a pile of elephant droppings I didn't notice? Or is it my sparkling personality?"
Sanita's eyes narrow as she watches Lanya move off to the larger group and force her way into the conversation. "Well well, what's got ginger head's panties all twisted I wonder?" She asks Rowan a bit rhetorically. Then she clamps her arm on Rowans, and begins dragging him over toward the larger group, coming in from a different angle than Lanya. As she walks, she whispers to Rowan.
"First lesson on nobles, they only care about 3 things. Prestige, much of which is reputation and outward perception. Power, which is what they can do and how many people they can order around. And finally, family, so they can make sure their line has more power and prestige than they did. Exactly which is most important varies by noble. Now, our hoitty toitty ginger girl introduced herself as Lanya of Medvybed, but she didn't give a family name. But her accent and mannerisms and clothes are noble. So either she's hiding her house name, or she's a pretender who doesn't want to give a specific name for fear of being found out. Either way, she wouldn't initiate a conversation and then run off across the room. It's rude, but more important, for a noble, it makes one look weak like one has to race about staving off danger. That hurts your public image. If she's a pretender, she really wouldn't do that because a noble wouldn't, it draws attention. Now, what does that mean to us? It means that group is important somehow, and we need to know what they are saying and doing, because whatever it is it was enough to get flamehead's panties twisted up enough to make her run off like a common bar maid."

Lanya Beladon Medvyed |

Fhârn |

The game of chess was going badly for Fhârn. This army of pieces was swiftly dwindling and he his position was deteriorating with every move. He grinned - this felt just like trying to beat his old man in the game. An endless decent into layers of traps, tricks and despair. The last might have been slightly overdramatic. They had managed to beat him once or twice mind you. And that meant Fhârn teamed up with his sibblings and they won thru distraction, sleight of hand and outright stealing their fathers pieces. The odds of someone sneaking away Bej's queen was looking rather slim at the moment, sadly. Maybe some talk could distract him - but somehow he doubted it. Bej played with the ease of a practised master.
"So - Bej - why are you down her in these wild lands ? Besides adventure I mean. Myself - I think these untamed land have a primeval charm in themselves."

Kertuffle |

"Wonderful," Vors replies with a smile. "You almost never go wrong with a dwarf," he continues. "It is an expensive item, so I would be willing to put some sort of payment down before the weapon is cast," he inquires.
Oleg casts his hand over his bustling buisness. "It's been nary a few days since you and yours defeated the bandits. It's me that owes you. No need for a downpayment of any kind, I'll get your sword made and we'll settle then."
The same is true for any PC that participated in the initial fight at Oleg's against the bandits. Until you actually default on a promised payment, Oleg does not demand a downpayment for ordered items.

Kertuffle |

@Bej
Don't worry the same chaotic mess happened when Viktor was being elected leader. It's just a natural time saving trick for gaining consensus as to what the group as a whole should do. Only NPC's are outside at the present, everyone else is inside and having conversations. It helps if you include OOC the conversation you are having but it's not necessary.
@Anastacia
Oleg does not have a safe. He does have a materwork chest with a fine lock on it but is unwilling to guarantee the safety of your money. He will provide you with the name of his banker in Restov, a man named Haverton. Viktor also has the man's name and one of his missions is going to be to convince a banker to come to your fledgling kingdom.

Kertuffle |

Masamura stares at the strange woman for a minute before shaking his head while moving over to Oleg."You are Oleg correct? Can you point me to either a Hunting, Scouting, or some other working group I might be of aid to?"
Oleg nods at the newcomer. "Yes, I be Oleg. And if you are lookin' for work, you've luckier than a two tailed fox. This here is Vors" he motions to a huge hulking man standing next to him. "and he and his are trying to bring law and order back to this here Stolen Lands. I understand they are huntin', scoutin' and fightin'. If you're interested in some lumberjackin', then Big John over at the side table there is whom you should be talkin' to. The trappers tend be a solitary lot but the woods are teemin' with game and it's the beginnin' of spring."
In addition to Vors, Oleg is willing to introduce Masamura to any of the players if he asks.

Rowan Gideon |

Rowan laughs at Sanita's comment. "Sanita, you should listen more carefully. She did introduce herself with her family name. It's Beladon. And from what I've seen so far, most of the nobles gathered hear today care for more than just those three things. I will agree though that the group is probably having a very important conversation though. We should go find what it's about."
"Wilhelm and Felix are both likely candidates for leadership. Shall we split into two groups under their lead and continue exploring the lands for a short time while waiting for word? It doesn't entirely matter which one of the two is in charge of the entire group if our short term goals are the same."

Bej Vanskian |

Bej is rather enjoying the match - Fhârn lacks experience and finesse in the game, but surely his brains worked the right way. A defensive, pragmatic yet effective strategy: not much chance of winning against him, but a comforting reassurance regarding his fellow adventurer’s tactical mind.
“Adventure is just a mean to an end, Master Fhârn. I might be generalizing, but these southerner nobles wish to fill the taverns with tales of their deeds, because they never had to worry about filling their bellies with food.” Baj talks in a matter-of-fact way, proud of his origins as common man “Myself, I take after my old grandfather – may he hunt with Erastil for nine eternities. He built the best fishing business up on the Lake all by himself.” he moves his rook “Check” and mate in three moves, unless I’m direly mistaken.
“I don’t much care for titles or tall tales about my victories. I wish to get myself a nice piece of land, for my friends and family to farm and hunt and be safe. And if that means bowing to m’lords and m’ladies that’s fine, and if that means killing giant boars with arrows and magic that’s fine too.”
__________
To be honest, I’ve seen the Oleg’s Trading Post map in another Kingmaker game that died immediately and there’s no way 13 people can fit inside – that’s why I thought most of us were out. Not a problem at all though. Anyway, I’m considering the chess game occurring at one of the tables outside by the fireplace.

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

** spoiler omitted **

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Rowan laughs at Sanita's comment. "Sanita, you should listen more carefully. She did introduce herself with her family name. It's Beladon. And from what I've seen so far, most of the nobles gathered hear today care for more than just those three things. I will agree though that the group is probably having a very important conversation though. We should go find what it's about."
Sanita blinks. "She did? Well darn, here I was getting all court intrigue and backstabby. I like backstabby." She sighs, but continues on toward the group. "Well then, best we show up for the meeting before someone volunteers us to dig latrines. Not that it's not an important job, and you find ever so many interesting bugs in the dirt, not to mention arachnids and reptiles, but it's also back breaking work and they yell when you stop to milk a snake for venom." All said in a quiet, but not whispered voice.
----------------------------
"Wilhelm and Felix are both likely candidates for leadership. Shall we split into two groups under their lead and continue exploring the lands for a short time while waiting for word? It doesn't entirely matter which one of the two is in charge of the entire group if our short term goals are the same."
Sanita looks around at all the people, and does a mental count of the ones that seem likely to be adventurers. "My pardon, I know I'm new, but it looks like there's easily a baker's dozen of people to do exploration. I think you could squeeze out three teems if you wanted, it just depends on how dangerous and how much risk you want to take." Look how easily she added herself to the list of people for exploration, no latrine duty for her, nosiree.

Fhârn |

"A fair goal indeed"
Fhârn frowns. Sadly - it was going as he expected. Another move, but still only delaying the inevitable. Unless ... unless measures were taken to improve the odds. Besides, it would be a perfect time to see if Bej had humour or not. Leaning back and grinning Fhârn nods at the raven at his side.
"Well - it would seem ..." - he pauses and sweeps his hand over the table - and the pieces starts to change colour! The white turns dark and black and vica versa - "... like my bishop is about to end this. Checkmate good sir!"
He throws his head back in hearty laughter before standing up and offering Bej his hand. "It was a good game - I hope we can try again some day. I have much to learn."

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

Sense Motive (Dareon): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Wilhelm has the nagging feeling that Dareon isn't saying something about his past, but decides against prying. Every man has a secret or two in his past and I won't begrudge him his. With a smile, he replies, "Hah, I can certainly understand the lure of adventure and an untamed land. I'm here for similar reasons, generally put. Grand intentions might be an understatement of the facts, as it were."
Chuckling, Wilhelm glances around the room and notices Anastacia approaching. He smiles and nods as she arrives and listens carefully to her rebuke. Looking abashed, he begins to reply, but a sudden sweep of people overwhelms whatever he was going to say. As the speaking dies down, Wilhelm addresses Lanya, speaking loudly enough for the entire group to hear, "I see no reason to turn down their aid for my own part. We have lost a significant portion of our starting strength and more help is always welcome. It also seems sensible that we do what you say and explore the immediate area. If certain information from our discussion earlier were to be made public, having secured the area could be of help." As he makes allusions to the group's discovery, he raises an eyebrow suggestively.
"That said, there is also the matter of the Stag Lord to be attended to. It's been a few days since the bandit Jake Terril managed to slip away from us. We can only assume that he's warned the Stag Lord that we are systematically hunting his forces down. I'm concerned that if we are distracted from that fight, that he might pick us off while we are exploring." Wilhelm pauses, looking seriously around at his veteran companions and the newcomers both. "This isn't a time for divided leadership. If we are squabbling amongst ourselves, this bandit lord may well pick us apart piecemeal. Given the support that Felix likely has from our patrons, I think it best if I cede leadership to him until the threat is dealt with. If we hear differently from Restov, then perhaps the situation may change."

Bej Vanskian |

Bej raises an eyebrow at Fhârn’s trick At least he didn’t delay the inevitable… He forces a smile on his face, as if he appreciated the joke, but it is clearly not very sincere “Heh. Nice trick.” he shakes the man’s hand, firmly.
He decides to change the subject It’s just an amicable game, don’t get too mad over this thing… he starts putting back the pieces into the starting positions “Didn’t figure you for an arcanist, what with that bucket of steel for an armor and that big heavy blade.” he waves a hand over the bishop, and it returns to the original color “I know a couple of things about magic myself. I look forward to teaching you some chess strategy, and even more eagerly to discuss a few things about the arcane – I’m afraid my education is still a bit rough on the subject.”

Dareon Lebeda |

"When it comes to splitting up for adventure, several pragmatic choices must be made." explains Dareon, eager to say something that he actually knows about. Just wait until you get him into the wilderness!
"The first is the splitting up of healing prowess. If a group is going to visit the Stag Lord, obviously I think that one of the healers should go with them. If there is one group that's more fragile than another, that group should receive a healer as well."
Crossing his arms, Dareon continues. "In addition, there's...desire to be taken into account. For example, who WISHES to explore the forest, and who WISHES to explore the plains, and who WISHES to scout out the Stag Lord's fort? I, for one, wish to explore the forest. If we must clear it of threats while I learn, then I am happy to help with that."

Dante Skyborn |

Listening to everyone, Dante speaks up at Wilhelm's suggestion. "Yes the young Wilhelm is right, bears and boars and the wilderness are all static dangers, the Stag Lord is a clear and malicious danger to our short term safety and our long term goals. My suggestion is that we all, including our new found friends launch a direct assault on his forces and finish him off once and for all."

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Sanita pipes up. "I agree, each group should have some healing. I can aid in some small way, and I can brew potions. But I am strictly a second class healer at the moment. Another who can but doesn't specialize in healing and I might cover one party though. If I'm to be a source of healing, I should be in a group doing exploration, not enemy scouting. Besides which, I am much better at exploring than enemy scouting."
She's lying about something, it seems about the not being good at scouting. Or about being better at exploring. It's not clear.
She's lying about not being good at scouting. But she's not lying about being good at exploring either. She seems to prefer exploring to scouting.

Fhârn |

Fhârn quickly realises that while he found the trick amusing, Bej might not have thought the same. He is happy at the switched subject - even for just a moment.
"That is an upside with this 'bucket of steel'." he pauses and taps the armour to emphasize. "When the brigands are contemplating whom to stuff with arrows first I've found that they tend to go for those standing in their morning robes first - so to speak. Besides - I prefer to have something more substantial then my meagre tricks when a push comes to shove." He pauses and leans back again, noticing that Bej is unweaving his cantrip. "As for magical education - I am afraid I have more to learn from you about chess then what I could teach you about magic. But if you ever need a steel bucket to call your own I could probably help you with the finer points of bashing metal"

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

"I think Dante has succinctly summarized the drive of my suggestion. There is still some concern with securing this local area, of course." Wilhelm takes a moment to think, stroking his chin contemplatively. At Dantalion's question, Wilhelm shakes his head, "I'm afraid I don't. The bandits we encountered on the hilltop were heading that way, but we didn't get much out of them."
Wilhelm turns and addresses Felix, "My suggestion would be to take the majority of our group to locate the Stag Lord's lair. It might not hurt to ask around the locals here to see if they have any ideas. The rest of our group could scout around in the immediate area until we locate his lair. Then we recombine our groups and strike at his stronghold."

Masamura Yoshirou |

To Lanya."My name is Masamura. I am guess you specialize in fortune telling as you seem to have read my intentions. It seems currently that the Knight here is the more favored right now. It seems he should lead at least until word returns from your home. Though might I suggest we form three group but act as one. A Sword, A Shield, and a Spear. We use those groups and take on missions that gain us the greatest favor from the people. The more aid we have the easier a land is to build."

Felix Sebastian Orlovsky |

Felix, having listened long and hard to all the others have had to say, stands up once more.
"Now that everyone has weighed in on the matter and a few people have gotten to know some of the new faces I would like to take a moment to bring all of the other newcomers, as well as those of our old band who are not present, into the conversation. If someone would be so kind as to fetch them I would much appreciate it."
Felix will wait for everyone to gather together in one spot and when they are all ready he will begin again. "As most of you know I am Felix Orlovsky, and I have questions for each of you. If one at a time you could answer my simple questions I believe we can best distribute the work among us and try and deal with the problems before us. As I would not expect any to answer a question I will not answer myself I will go first. My Questions are simple; one, who are you... oh I know we know most of this group but I would like for us to each introduce ourselves both for the new people to get to know us and so we get to know these new additions; two, why have you come here... and I don't mean the charter, I mean why have you personally come here; three, what do you bring to this group... strengths, weaknesses, all of it so we can match strength to weakness and form groups that will be able to form a team before which no enemy may stand."
Felix smiles and looks around at all the members of this ragtag band.As I have said, I am Felix Sebastian Orlovsky. I have come because this is where I make a new start for myself, where I can do some good for my people. I bring with me those powers Shei has bestowed on me, healing and the gift of her allies. I am also skilled at negotiations and sage knowledge. What I lack is skill with arms, my handicap is rather obvious." Felix lifts his charred arms for all to see.

Masamura Yoshirou |

Masamura sighs."I suppose I should go ahead and get this over with. Can't really trust without trusting even when it comes to nobles. I am Masamura Yoshirou. I came here to flee being condemned for following my master's orders I also seek a way to stop my master's plans. I am skilled at spying, infiltration, and if need be assassination. Though I prefer to save that last one for the threats that can't be handled any other way or must be taken out immediately. My weaknesses are simply the fact that I don't know this land or its ways yet. Or at least not entirely."He then rests his hand to where if need be he can defend himself. Before speaking to himself in draconic again.
"Please be reasonable and not foolish."

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Sanita shrugs. "I'll go next. I am Sanita, and I will give you a last name if you insist, but I'd rather be judged on myself, and not my family ties, whatever those might be." She eyes everyone before continuing. "I'd like to hope everyone else feels the same way. I've found personally that those who have to trade on their name are usually not worthy of it." She sniffs. "I've come here to explore and experiment with the new local flora and fauna, and to continue my medical training." Then she grins. "Well, and because my father agreed to finance my trip if I got out of town so his current wife would quit complaining about his other children being under foot." She thinks for a second, before continuing. "My strengths are I am smart, I'm good at recognizing trouble, and getting out of it. I'm good with plants, and have some healing knowledge. I'm an alchemist, and have some efficiency there, and can brew potions. My weakness is I am sometimes easily distracted by interesting things around me, and I tend to tell people the truth if they ask my opinion about something, be it their behavior or their chances at success. People don't like the truth, it pricks the skin."
