Runt PbP |

Runt looks around. Counting heads and looking to see what else might be in store for them. Unlike the others her thoughts around potential blood sport are not cynical, but rather optimistic. She is still under the delusion that this might be a heaven of some sort.

Sarah Vinland |

" so are we gonna pick the leader by fighting, or debating or building sandcastles or betting on other people fighting or what" 'I hope it's not the sandcastles, I was never good with them' Sarah starts to look around if she can find any obvious hints on what's going to happen or something shiny or otherwise interesting

Shirota Ikari |

Shirota grows impatient as he watches some looking around in desperation for a weapon, and listens to others speculate on what is going on. To clear his mind he spends the moments he has remaining stretching, and readying himself for whatever may be coming next.

Runt PbP |

Runt pulls out a breadstick she snagged from the dinner table and begins nibbling on it as she watches the sport.

Shirota Ikari |

Shirota smiles. "I'm not sure how fighting 'The Wolves' is supposed to be less deadly than a few bare-fisted idiots, but no matter. This way I can levy my considerable talents without risking the lives of my competitors and future allies." He thinks confidently.
He takes a deep breath. "I am ready." Shirota says.

Karthal Thirntar |

Karthal assumes a battle position, and smirks. Wolves should be far easier than fighting the others here. At least I know what to prepare for with Wolves, and I don't have to risk killing any of my future allies. Though I wonder, maybe wolves is a title or a nickname, rather than actual wolves.

Remish |

Randrashar smiles, his crystalline scales glinting in the sun. He laughs and says, "Ha, wolves are no match for a dragon!"
Remish actually is taken aback by this remark, as he looks over at Randrasher to see if he was talking about him. Noticing the scales for the first time he is taken aback. I know the one who could tell I cast a spell is a mage, but how can this man claim to be dragonblooded and not have noticed a spell being cast in draconic. The mage it is. Finalizing his decision he moves next to Shirota. "I am ready." he says to the General, then whispers to Shirota. "Some sort of mage, right? I'll keep them off your flank if you'll do the same for me."

Brayden sighs and takes a seat to watch the spectacle. Speaking to no one in particular, he utters, "Wolves were occasional problems for us back in my village, so I have little love for them, though still, blood sports? I have my reservations."

Shirota Ikari |

Shirota smirks. "Have no fear." He says, "If all goes according to plan, neither of our flanks will be in very much danger." Shirota continues with utmost confidence.

Silas T. Stagg |

"Now, Billy, watch close, awful as what comes might be. These here decided they was good enough to lead us. Could be one or two might be. But them what hungers for authority often got a deep chasm ta fill.
"It'll be easy to watch this and favor the strong as they hurt the weaker. But keep an eye open for smarts. And heart."

Valterra |

wolves, interesting. never dealt with them before. Terra comments to nobody in particular.
Terra seems to want to establish her independence, but she still seems to have this slight aura of nobility about her as evident in her subtle mannerisms and how she carries herself. though she tries to hide this to the best of her ability.

Randrashar the Shining |

Having noticed Remish looking over at him, Randrashar jogs towards the sorceror. He greets him in Draconic, "Beneficium dare draconis? Salutem te, et dare veniam pro me mane: Confudisti hodie. Tres autem sunt lupi simul et pugnare?"

Remish |

Shirota smirks. "Have no fear." He says, "If all goes according to plan, neither of our flanks will be in very much danger." Shirota continues with utmost confidence.
Remish chuckles. "Well then, I'll just stick around in case something doesn't go to plan."
As Randrashar walks up and speaks he continues the conversation in common. "Well, I'm not sure if I'd call myself a dragon. The Wise Woman said I had the 'blood of a good dragon and an evil outsider' flowing through my veins. As for fighting the wolves, I can't speak for the fearless one here. But help is always welcome and appreciated." At this he pauses and says to both of them. "Name's Remish."
Shirota Ikari |

"You may call me Ikari" Shirota replies. "It will be my pleasure to vie with each of you for leadership."

Zathan Jax |

Is there anything physically dividing the seating area from the fighting area?

Sarah Vinland |

Sarah grins "Have faith comrades, why feare wolfs if you know the powers of the Primal Chaos on your side. I am Sarah Vinland chosen and high-pristess of Azathoth " and strikes a pose, one hand hand raised high, palm skywards and the other moving her hair away from her mark.
She finishes her little performance with muttered nonsensical syllabes and a multicoloured light washing over her from the eight pointed star on her forhead.

Not wolfs General General says, Wolves. Nickname for a band of bandits known to terrorize the area. Hired them to give you a good welcome. They should be arriving right about... now.
As if on cue, cloaked figures flood out of the forest. Some carry swords, while the others carry knives. They stop at the edge of the sandpit.
General General looks surprised. Certainly more than I asked Elandra to bring.
They toss a large sack into the sandpit. Out tumble 4 daggers, 4 shortswords (just go look up the numbers for those), and 4 handaxes. One of the men grunts Good luck.
I will handle rolling initiative after everyone is on the map. People not added to the map within 24 hours will be placed on the map by me.

Zathan Jax |

Zathan tenses, standing near the seats to the north, and takes a ready stance. He does not plan to stand idly by as the others are attacked by superior numbers.

Karthal Thirntar |

Karthal puts on a stone face, staring down the bandits and getting into a maintaining a ready position. I knew they weren't actual wolves. Well, lets see what they are made of.

Runt PbP |

Nice! What an excellent use for bandits. This should be enlightening as well as entertaining. Though it seems pretty dang odd that the 'law' would be hiring bandits. Something about this just does not make sense... Doh! I almost forgot that this is heaven!
Runt kicks back and relaxes. She looks for something soft and warm to lean against and eyes Billy, but decides against it.

Parker Grenzo |

Parker grabs two short swords and swings them around deftly. He speaks up for the first time in a soft voice to the others in the pit with him. "So how do you guys want to do this? We gonna work together, or every man for himself?"
I took two swords because I have two-weapon fighting as a feat, if anyone wants one of mine because there arent any left, just ask.

Shirota Ikari |

Shirota approaches cautiously and takes a dagger from the pile.
"This will do for now" Shirota says. "I am surprised they are giving us lethal weapons, but a spear or even a club probably would have been better for me..." He thinks, handling the dagger with care.

Remish |

Remish picks up a dagger from the pile.
Parker grabs two short swords and swings them around deftly. He speaks up for the first time in a soft voice to the others in the pit with him. "So how do you guys want to do this? We gonna work together, or every man for himself?"
"I for one, do not want to lose to bunch of bandits." Remish says, pointedly ignoring the fact that they can overhear. "We Dragons" nodding to Randrashar as he speaks. "will protect any casters or clerics that wish to join us, provided they pull their weight" Looking at Parker's choice of weapons he continues. "If you'd like to join us on the front line then you're welcome to."

Karthal Thirntar |

"We may as well, some of us will be working together for the forseeable future, may as well start now. And while I may not have much, if any magical talent, i am more than capable of pulling my own weight dragons, if i could join you. " Karthal Says, still while staring down the bandits.

Karthal Thirntar |

Karthal glances at Parker for a second, and then scans the bandits, seeing what sort of gear they have and if there are any that are more well equipped than others.

Sarah Vinland |

Sarah calmly walks to the pile of weapons and picks up a dagger "let's do it together, we'll be here all day otherwise there are just so many of them." She turns towards Remish "I always wanted to see how my God given powers compare to a dragon's "

Remish |

Remish smiles at Karthal and Parker. "Well said. You are more than welcome." As Sarah chimes in he says. "Anytime, Gorgeous. If you're God keeps us alive, I'm all for him." He looks at the three front liners who have volunteered. "So who wants the flanks?"
To be honest looking at the makeup I'd say Randrashar and Parker would be better on the flanks. Randrashar has that whole aura thing going for him which would make him a problem in the center. Of course Randrashar may not want to mention this and Remish would be none the wiser. Parker might be able to parlay a flanking position into sneak attack. So my suggestion would be
Parker Remish Karthal Randrasher
/////////Sarah Ikari

Karthal Thirntar |

I think im gonna stay a bit in front of you guys because i have pretty good hp and a higher ac than most here afaik, so im the best suited to tank rn, as well as if they move into melee range i can flurry, but otherwise that sounds good.

LegitGM |

One of the bandits in the back declares that most of them have come to just watch the fight, and that the people fighting are just to allow General General to see who can do what, and that the fighting can begin... now!
I will roll initiative for you, and put that into the document.
The bandits rush forward. Those that are running are wearing studded leather armor and carrying rapiers.
They will all move first for ease of play. To keep it fair, however, they will git a half speed move for the first time. Everyone else's initiative will soon be on the document.
Also, why does Zathan have an animal companion?

Karthal Thirntar |

I don't believe Randrashar is on the map or in the initiative.
you place yourself on the map, but initiative is up to LegitGM

Im gonna say what i plan on doing now
