Here is to honor and heroism (or hiroism).
Hiro stalks part way to the savage casting enlarge person and stalling for time until he is about fifteen feet from the savage. He feels the effects of his magic and Durgens' begin to take hold and bellows, "Leave her alone, you have enough trying to fight me." As he swells to 8x the mass of his original form he makes eye contact with Durgen as he feels the powerful magic of inquisitor infuse his being.
With grace and agility Hiro brings the savage in lethal range of his deadly weapon with a single step. He swings at the savage twice with his sword while casting a spell with his other hand. The first swing is slightly delayed due to the simultaneous casting and misses horribly, but the second one is actually speeded by the inquisitor's magic.
