Angeus |

Will, DC16: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
A tear wells up in Angeus' eyes and makes a track down her cheeks, as she looks upon the ruin of the creatures body, "Why did it attack...the poor thing..."

Tristan Morgan |

Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Tristan feels nothing for this creature.
"Not sure. Whatever it is. It is not anything from nature. Your queen is wounded Quince. Other then that we seem to be fine. I will track it. It could have a lair close, though I doubt we will find much other then some animal parts and possibly unfortunate bandits."

Quince Medvyed |

Quince mutters a prayer of healing.
How badly off is Angeus I will use as much as needed.

Kevros Droverson |

Kev and Katrina make their way to Angeus, "Is Angeus OK? Does she need more healing?"
After Angeus is attended to, Kevros recovers his bolts making sure not to destroy any of the creatures tracks. The other projectiles hit so they are destroyed;

Katrina Dewtree |

Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Katrina quickly stows her bow over her shoulder and comes to Angeus’s aid as well. Laying her hands on Angeus green and golden light glows over her as spells of cure light flow over her. Soon there is no more sign of the wounds except for the blood and tears in her armor.

”I am not sure but I believe the beast is extraplanar, an outsider. It did cast a spell at the end of its miserable existance. I sure hope it was not a curse.”

GM Wolf |

Tristan begins to follow the beasts tracks. The trail leads to several boulders in the area then off in the distance some couple hundred yards to its den. Just as Tristan said you find the remains of some animals and possibly some bandits. The den is a dug out cave going under a boulder at least 10 feet. It would be hard to tell how far it goes back without getting into the den.

Tristan Morgan |

Tristan waits on the others to approach as he has no light source to check the place.

Angeus |

Angues shoos away all of the concern as Katrina tends to her wounds, rotating her neck and shoulders as the warmth of her friend's healing works its way through her.
Following Tristan, she smiles as his work reveals the creature's lair. Dropping her pack , she lights a torch, then slides into the den without reservation...
Perception, DC 12: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

Kevros Droverson |

Since Angeus has decided to go and before anyone else slips in, "Shall we leave guard for the horses or leave them alone this time?"

Quince Medvyed |

Quince smiles at Angeus' independent strike. He looks at Tristan, "I think a holding our size is a Dutchy. So the term would likely be Dutchess." Quince smirks and follows after.

Tristan Morgan |

If you go by ultimate campaign rules we are a barony right now. :)
Tristan follows Angeus in the den as she lights her torch.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Kevros Droverson |

Kev shrugs, "The horses will be ... fine?" Then brings up the rear, crossbow at the ready. He casts light once in the cave and the light shines from his buckler. Crouched over, he looks around ...
Perception DC:12: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Kev quietly speaks, "More precious metal, mithral, or false gold?"

Tristan Morgan |

"Who knows. Lets find out."
Tristan retries the glinting metal with the light from Angeus's torch.

Katrina Dewtree |

Katrina stays behind with the horses, walking around once before standing above the hole everyone jumped into with bow and arrow drawn.

GM Wolf |

The group searches together and finds 12 cp, 21 sp, 7 gp, and two rubies in the dirt. Checking each tunnel you find the remains of a medium humanoid at the end of one tunnel with a scroll case and the rest of its equipment destroyed. At the end of the center tunnel you find the remains of several small humanoids with a silver center piece of a necklace with a dark blue sapphire embedded in it. This is likely the lair of the beast you recently defeated.
You finish exploring 51 finding nothing of note.
The next day exploring 50 do you continue to spread out to maximize searching or move in closer to each other?
After a few hours you think you see some ruins, upon closer inspection you see that several towers of rocks have been stacked upon each other but no true ruins. It is a rocky area with lots of bushes. You are 100 feet away, do you venture in for an even closer look?

Tristan Morgan |

I would say we spread out but not out of line of sight so nor more then 100' or so.
"That is not a natural rock formation. Let's advance and examine it."

Katrina Dewtree |

I made a slight adjustment to Kev's 5' step to his current position. It is still a 5' step forward but keeping soft cover in mind. Personally, precise shot should override that too.

Round 2
Kevros's second shot hits true to its target. Quince calls out in the name of Erastil to bind the creatures charging toward them. The vegetation lashing out with massive growth to take hold of the dragons. Angeus stays in hiding and as one of the red wyrm charges forward she gets an AoO but falters in her own attack leaving herself open. She then goes for another strike still missing after the dragon bites onto her free arm. Tristan hacks into the red wyrm and takes it down, it falls off of Angeus. Katrina boosts her inspiring with her magical item, now a +2 rather than the +1, as she moves over to the side to get a clear shot of the green wyrm, sticking it with an arrow. Green gets snared as the other two wyrms tear through the vegetation dodging as they charge forward. Purple slams into Angeus and gets a good bite in, with 6 damage, but not good enough to get ahold of her.
