I'll probably sleep in the bed, I'll place the icon on the maps.
Afterwards we'll set up near whatever mechanisim is required to close the gate, or at an area near it to close... if not we can move some barrells to hide behind near it, take 20 on the hide roll I guess in the morning? I'll need someone with me that can hear to alert me when it's time to do something.

Crossbow is 19-20/x2 critical. you rolled a 19+2=21, so you threaten critical.
ah good catch there, it's too late to edit my post, let's see if he'll confirm it here.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
alright then, 1d10 ⇒ 10
wow, so that bolt hits for a damage total of 13

since my initiative is very low, I'll wait until after they've gone, or you can add this in after their actions.
My attack roll is as follows
1d20 ⇒ 19
The idea is to charge the most hurt one, barring that charge the leader looking one. If he's not visible I'll charge the closest.

yeah I'm really liking roll20 for the map.
i was sort of under the impression that the bandit leader was inside too though, so i guess he's actually outside of the closed gates?
Correct, he is outside the gates, and about to be completely shut out. You could still lean over the top of the wall to shoot at him, though, if you stand up.

alrighty, we'll assume Jean-Luc did so for that attack if necessary

Silly question. It seems irrelevant for the current situation, but . . ..
Can you change modes of travel during a Run action when you have more than one type of movement speed?
In other words, if Drek had a straight path to move where this was possible, could he run to an obstacle and begin climbing it as part of the same run action?
I think I remember a rule that running needed to be in a straight line, but I don't see that in the SRD. Am I remembering 3.x instead of Pathfinder? That happens a lot.
If you need to run in a straight line, then I bet that swapping form on foot to climbing isn't allowed, because the character turns (just in the third dimension) to do so. If you can turn, though, then this could be doable?
The idea occurred to me while looking at the map and possible variations on our current situation. I immediately dismissed the possibility based on not being able to turn while running, but, as noted above . . ..
I really don't know.

If I remember correctly, run is a full turn action, but you are allowed to turn. Charging requires a straight line. Rough terrain just halves your speed.
Does your climb speed have a run multiplier?
I would house rule it as you can do half your run, and half your climb, so if you have 30x4 and 20x1, for every 30feet you run that is the equivalent of climbing 10.
But I am not near any books. Or my PC.

Ignore the first post, she'll get a channel if she goes down, but I didn't realize the range difference. And we're more effective to down bandits first as well heh. And the attack is assuming after the bandits go I'm in range, if someone flanks add 2, etc.

I'm thinking that Drek is PROBABLY close to the (ajar) gate, and has a chance to respond intelligently. But I'm at work, and can't see the map to verify or deny until I get home after work. <shrug>
If Drek's in a spot to react, he will.
If he's not, well, unless someone raises an alarm (as was already noted) . . ..

Someone needs to go out and get the wounded leader and bring him in, I'm stuck in my current course because I don't know there's one out there that needs got.
gotcha
Jean-Luc walks back towards the center of the fort, dragging the leader behind him with some exertion as he walks. Coming to a stop near Nikoleta he lets the leg he was holding drop to the dirt and places his hand on her shoulder.

Fair enough. I'm actually moving next week. I'll be on the road Monday and Tuesday, and then living in a hotel for the next 10 days. I'm trying to ensure I have internet hooked up on move-in day, but we'll see.

sorry everyone
I just started a new job and it's really eating up a lot of my time.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to do your game justice, and I'll have to withdraw.
hope there's no hard feelings, good luck.
Hey, congrats on the new job! Bummer to lose Jean-Luc. No hard feelings at all, take care.

Woo-Hoo! Got my van load of stuff off-loaded into my new apartment, and I am posting this using my actual computer instead of a silly little tablet!
I can type, have it marked as wrong, and fix the errors FASTER than I could type on the tablet.
Now, if only my wife could get the house prepped to sell and join me . . ..
