Izabek |
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
That's what I figured, however I'm not going to attack unless you move in. I'll also see if one of the others might attempt to converse with the others.
Riggar |
Ha ha, that tickled a bit in respnose to the jolt. However he had no idea there was another incoming attack, Oh, my spleen, know where the bloody hell did that come from?!
perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Guys, I just took a shot from somewhere, scan the area for anyone else that might be here, I am gonna focus on taking these new threats down a notch or two.
After giving the commands, he turns and thinks real quick about what to do, after weighing the options in front of him. He speaks a few words, and encourages his allies in combat.
cast bless
David Trufant III |
Damage done to Riggar = 9
David looks around, for any signs of another enemy that may be lurking about
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Found the enemy you were talking about! Since you insist on starting the fight, allow us to end it!
He raises his bow at the enemy, and without any thoughts lets loose 2 arrows in a flash.
attack 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 vs AC 20
attack 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 vs AC 20
Izabek |
I will charge to the dwarf if I can do so without allowing an opportunity attack and engage in melee. If not then the closest enemy. If I can do so safely I will flank, if not just a straight on attack.
Falcata: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Terquem |
Can we say there is a 1 in six chance that you cannot get to him without triggering an AAO AAO on a 1: 1d6 ⇒ 2
so you can make it to him without difficulty
But can you get into a flanking position? lets say you have a 1 in 4 chance to succeed Flanking the Dwarf, with Eckowo on a 1: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Yes you are flanking, but your roll (and Eckowo's) are still too low.
And this means that The Rogue can probably Flank one of you two with The Cleric.
Seraphina Newton |
Quite a predicament you are in, let me help you to alleviate the issue Seraphina says wondering which hostile enemy would be the easiest to skewer.
Move action to flank the charging Eckowo.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
attack w/ flank: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 = 24 vs. AC 16
crit confirm: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d6 ⇒ 4
Harrienys |
I full attack throwing 2 starknives, one at the cleric and one at the rogue who haven't noticed me yet.
Against the Rogue's flat footed AC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Against the Cleric's flat footed AC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Damage against the rogue: 1d2 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + (3) + 1 = 6
Damage against the cleric: 1d2 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + (5) + 1 = 7
I then 5 foot step away from melee combat.
Harrienys |
Crap, I'm looking at the wrong character sheet, this character doesn't have Two-Weapon Fighting. You are correct about the firing into melee penalties, I always forget that I need Precise Shot on ranged characters and that's probably the feat I should have taken at first level :/. My attack roll is 4 lower and targeting only the cleric.
The difference between flat footed and "Denied Dex Bonus to AC" is that flat footed is a specific condition you're in at the start of combat before you've had a chance to act that causes you to lose your Dex bonus to AC and not be able to take AoO whereas "Denied Dex Bonus to AC" can be obtained from other sources such as a feint.
Riggar |
The cleric springs back to his feet, only pretending to be down to fool his enemies...sure >.<
The cleric throws caution to the wind and attacks the fugly enemy in front of him
Standard action: attack Eckowo
morningstar Eckowo: 1d20 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 16 vs AC 16
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
David Trufant III |
assuming the grease spell is still cast
reflex save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 vs DC 17
The fighter falls down on his butt, after his legs flail to the side of him. He stands up, and attempts to compose himself to take a single shot at the enemy.
Move action stand from prone
acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 20 vs DC 10
The fighter steadies himself, takes careful aim at the badly injured enemy engaged with his other friends and lets loose am arrow, hoping it to strike true.
attack Eckowo: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 6 vs AC 16
I wasted my natural 20 and a check I was unsure if I could take a 10 on, I assumed not since there was a negative side effect upon failing...Iza your up I guess, lucky you Ecko ;)
Terquem |
Oh, well , that would be The Cleric, right? So Izabeck casts CLW on The Cleric? Look, I realize that, at times, this game might be tedious and perhaps not "fun" for everyone, but do try to play with some interest, please. I imagine that Izabek is going to try and cast Cure Light Wounds on Eckowo - Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Eckowo, reguvinted by his friend Izabeck, is faced with a daunting decision. Tear the throat out of this guy, or that guy.
Eckowo |
I've got 5 points left before the heal, according to my numbers: 13 hp, -4 from Seraphina, -4 from the not-actually-down Riggar, then the fighter missed.
Post heal, that's back up to 12.
Eckowo roars wordlessly in pain as he's stabbed in the baack, and whirls around to see what attacked him. Then he gets clobbered over the head by the cleric. This is not a good day for him!
He retaliates against the cleric first in a flurry of innate weaponry, before turning on the backstabber. If the cleric takes enough damage to drop, all subsequent attacks are targeting the rogue.
Bite, Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Claw #1, Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22Claw #1, Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Claw #2, Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Gore, Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Talon, Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Well that was a horrible set of rolls...
Edit: I forgot I have Power Attack, which I'd almost certainly have been using. But I've already rolled without it, so I'm not sure Terquem will let me add it after. If he does, it's -1 to all attacks, and +2 damage for the one that hit.
Seraphina Newton |
I actually did 7 point damage since I got SA
i think it's my turn
Seraphina look at the ugly brute that took down her dwarves buddy, and curses at him.
You'll pay for that you hideous beast!
Standard action: attack Ecko
short sword Ecko: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 = 5 vs AC18
Move action step back 10 feet or before grease whichever is first and use acrobatics to avoid AOO using up all 20 feet of movement.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Seraphina Newton |
I do believe you provoke an AOO from the rogue Harrienys since my CMD is 16, if that's the case then I take my AOO, and your attack misses my AC 20
AOO on Harrienys: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 1 = 20 vs AC 20
short sword damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
David Trufant III |
Assuming it is the fighters turn since it seems like it is round 3 and Harri and Gretch had taken their respective turns
I will take a free five out of the area of the grease spell. since there has to be a free space on on side of me since it is only a 10 feet area spell. If I cannot move without having to make an acrobatics check then I will just stand standing and fire 2 shots as part of a full round action with rapid shot.
Seeing his rogue buddy give him free lane to shoot, he lines up and fires two quick shot at the foaming beast that took out his dwarf buddy.
die you beast, DIE!
attack 1 on Ecko: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 2 = 23 vs AC 18
crit confim attack 1 on Ecko: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 - 2 = 22 vs AC 18
crit damage on Ecko with shortbow: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 5, 6) + 9 = 22
Sorry dude, the dice seem to not like you very much
Seeing his shot, fell the beast that fell the dwarf, David quickly turns his attention to the birdlike creature that cast a curative spell on his buddy. [/i]you take my cleric, I'll take yous[/i]
attack 2 on Izabek: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 2 = 4 vs AC 17 add another +1 if within 30 feet
Eckowo |
I actually did 7 point damage since I got SA
Ah ha! I see it now. I just looked at the number at the end of the line (the 4) and missed the first part (the 3). So yeah, I was at 2, and then got healed to 9, and now down to -11. Even with a max heal, Izabek won't be able to get me up this round. I'm just grateful that it's no longer a flat -10 = dead.
