Cuddles' new friend attempts a countergrapple and barely fails. The crab Two hit snaps back with its claws and inflicts a nasty wound - then grabs him and squeezes hard . The third crab snaps an Cuddles. The first claw misses, but the second one connects .
New Round
Cuddles attempts to catch the incoming claw and hyper-extend the first crab's pincher arm, thus cracking the shell, at the same time.
This isn't going well...
Enya stops her performance, though it lingers on. She runs up to the crab that has ahold of Tao and attempts to stab it with her dagger.
Enya narrowly misses the crab.
I watch the encounter unfold around me, unsure of what I can do to help I call out, "If any of you want your hurts removed just say so. My curses don't work on the mindless."
Aldous looks at his friends and then reaches over to Tao to give him guidance once more.
With a quick motion, Tao attempts to shrug off the grab.
"Not today"[ooc] I will go back to posting in the proper Tien script when I'm not in a hurry...ie after Monday. Also, Note: Baby is due in 2 weeks [/b]
Tao's able to break the grapple.
Cuddles' Crab keeps struggling but is unable to escape. Tao's Crab regrabs him and squeezes hard . The third Crab scuttles over to Enya, grabs her, and begins to squeeze .
New Round
Cuddles employs a similar move to the one he used against the reefclaws. He takes one claw under each arm, braces his foot on the crabs face, and pulls.
"Enya!"
Alain is toen. He would very much like to come to Enya's aid but he knows there isn't much he can do .His best bet is to try and kill the one Cuddles is attacking to free him up to assist Enya.

With a quick move, he drops his sword and draws a dagger and slams it into the crab with all his might.
"Let go!"
Struggling against the crab's grasp, Tao is nontheless able to stab it to death . With Alain's magical assistance, Cuddles, likewise, is able to kill his crab.
Enya yelps as she is taken by the crab. "See! This is what happens guys!" HEr tone is half joking half serious. She takes her dagger and slams it into the crab.
Aldous freezes slightly seeing Enya in pain and quickly runs over, drawing his weapon as he goes and cracks the whip from a few feet off, trying to distract the crab.

Seeing Enya grabbed and hearing her yelp I begin chanting some incantations and performing some strange hand gestures. Once I have finished I move over to her and place my hand on her back or the easiest part of her to reach. At the contact a small puddle of liquid spreads over her body and covers the wound, where it begins to glow slightly before falling off.
Aldous' whip strikes true, but the crab continues to squeeze Enya .

As soon as his crab goes limp Cuddles turns to Enya's attacker and tackles him.

"Bad dinner! No Enya!" Once again, he cracks his whip, hoping for luck to join him on this strike.

Though she knew she was in trouble, because this stupid crab got her, she laughed on the inside at Aldous' comment. "Such a sweet man... If I survive this crab grapple, I shall kiss him for that. And find a coconut for him, because they are delicious."
"Listen to the nice whip man! Im not food! You are!" feeling a bit better from Rivers heals, she tries to wiggle her way out.
Once free, Tao steps over to the crab who has been holding Enya and is now clutched by Cuddles and moves to end it.
"我的朋友對你來說不是。為此，你去死"
Enya wiggles out of the Crab's grasp.
Seeing Enya wriggle out and Cuddles grab the crustacean I move back to my original spot where it is safe.
Cuddles was pleased with the resultes of his maneuver on the last crab, so he plants his foot in this crab's face and tries to pull its pincers off too.
Tao continues his assault.

The crab is barely hanging on to life after Cuddles' enthusiastic manhandling, and Tao's swing renders it very messily dead.
I look to everyone and smile, "Well that's dinner sorted, who wants to chop it all up?" I head over to the bag of loot and rummage around until I find the whalebone corset and pull it out. I then find some cover and put it on. Just before I get changed I poke my head around the corner, "No peeking!"
When I step out the corset is in plain view, with the furs hiding anything that shouldn't be seen.
Tao says nothing, but he does make a point to stand with his back to River when she changes, his hands crossing his chest as if to say...look away. His silence is clearly for a different reason upon seeing her.
Cuddles begins the task of seperating the crab from its shell, then cutting it into managable bits. He doesn't even notice River's change until someone says something.
When he looks up he breaks into a large, yellow-toothed grin.
RIVER PRETTY!!
Enya giggles at River and kindly at the request, turns her back. When she is allowed to turn around: "It looks great on you! Its about time you showed off your assets! And you have some assets!" Enya laughs warmly and helps tighten the corset up a bit more. "There you go!" She looks at Aldous and Tao. "Gorgeous, no?"
With a grin, he winks to Enya, "Well, I have no doubts she is, but my eyes are for something a bit more....fiery!" He says this as he looks the bard up and down.
With a slow and silent nod, Tao agrees.
After thinking for a moment...

Alain's face turns a bright shade of crimson as he hastily turns and starts hacking inefectively at a crab.
I smile at everyone, "I really like the bone, it feels like I am connected to the sea." I let Enya help tighten the clothing while everyone else gets the food ready, once it is tightened I do hold the bag open for the food, blushing at everyone's comments.
Enya pushes at Aldous' shoulder, giggling. "Well then, start a fire Aldy. Help me get firewood?" She smirks.
"Alright, we should make a quick meal and then get going!" With that, he nudges her back as the venture just slightly away to gather wood. Not wishing to get too far from the group.
After enjoying a hearty lunch of crab legs , you continue on your way. It's not long before there's a fork in the trail. While it does continue following the shoreline, it also branches off to your right and heads back inland toward some distant hills.
