Invictus Toughness Save: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 12 - 2 = 15
Failed by 11 Staggered and Stunned
The uppercut rings true and Invictus beings to lose consciousness as he staggers backwards. One of The Phalanx guarding the Courtroom Door charges over towards Golem in the stairwell.
OOC: Will spend a hero point to activate Ultimate Toughness. So that would count as a 20+12(Toughness)-2(Bruises) for a total of 30. No effect.
The uppercut connected solidly with Invictus' jaw, his feet dug into the marble floor of the courtroom ante chamber, he glared at his foe. "We're done here." In a blue of sudden rapid movement, he drove a thunderous backhand towards the duplicate engaged with Golem, swung across the room in a blur driving a knee into the stomach of the second duplicate, was beside Golem again driving a wicked left cross right towards the duplicates head, and then again above the one that had attempted the uppercut, both hands laced together in a brutal overhand haymaker towards the back of his head.

Ares closed the rest of the distance in the building and is at the base of the stairs below the Courtroom Lobby.
VIPER agents didn't do anything that anyone can detect.
Prax tried to punch one of the Phalanxes and failed.
Broadway let loose a critical hit piercing scream on a Phalanx that was not successful.
T.I.G.H.T.S. shot Blaze and scored a solid hit that by pure force of will was able to withstand with no effect.
Blaze unleashed a Line of pure hellfire targeting Quark, Broadway and T.I.G.H.T.S. lucky the three of you evaded most of the effect with T.I.G.H.T.S. taking a little fire and is still wrapped in a small amount of Hell Fire.
Techno Priest shot his hurt lazer at Blaze that he absorbed like it didn't even hit him.
Invictus used his super speed to attack all the Phalanxes in the Lobby two were able to dodge his punch one was not and he was stunned up against the door.
Waveform missed with her waterslam.

Dr. Quark, at fly size, takes a long moment to write a note on a piece of paper from his juror notepad. Then he runs inside and drops onto the judges bench, hoping someone will find it later. As the note returns to normal size, he runs by the Techno guy and whispers
Hey, check the bench. I hope you can track me. then to one of the bags the Phalanx have around the hostages, attempts to latch onto the bag and shrink even further to atomic size, squeezing between the atoms of the cocoon.
I guess I will just have to stow away and see where these villains are taking their hostages, and what nefarious plans they have.
Ok, this may be pushing the bounds of super speed 3. Does normal activities at 10 times speed. I can run up the bench to get on top of it, whispering is a free action, dropping the paper is a free action, and it should revert to normal since my shrinking requires an action to maintain. Invictus rocked back after the vicious body shots from the Phalanx dupe, as he advanced he was relieved when he saw the Grecian warrior ascend the stairs. With a furious cry he launched himself at the dupe that Invictus was engaging. Taking a deep breath, he fought through the pain, and his exhaustion and mindless of the danger launched himself towards the courtroom door, if only he could get through he knew he could clear the room of hostages, and hopefully snatch some measure of victory from the jaws of VIPER by denying them any hostages.
