Also, will combats be live?

Gritt hears the shouts and groans. He looks accusingly over at Grime, "I told you to be quiet!" The weasel stops digging in the mud and gives a pitiful look to his master as radishes hang from his large canines.

"No, don't look at me like that. Drop those radishes." Gritt continues, "Get ready to fight. This is going be a battle!"

Dazak is planning to cast Obscuring Mist. Are we waiting on something? I'm on holiday at the moment (which is good for availability) and in Australia (which is probably bad for live games)
"Hss - I will make a fog for us to hide in. We can ambush these scaleless, if we cannot sneak away"
Dazak's familiar is still in the sky, right?

I'm in the central US (GMT-6), and usually available from 7am to 5pm my time, but can be available later if I know a day or two in advance, if we want to try live at some point.

Unfortunately, if this game ends up doing live combat, I will have to drop out. There are just too many things going on right now where I don't know when I can spare some time to play a live combat

yeah - I'd probably be okay for a month, but when I start my new job I'd only be able to do it in a narrow window totally incompatible with american sleep cycles.

Sorry for the delay on posting, work has been brutal lately. It isn't a live game, I just tend to prefer the system. Everything will still be pbp. If everyone has signed up I'll assign token rights and roll for initiative later tonight.

Ixen has yet to join but I set everyone else up with token control rights. Get your hp and all that set when you can.

Initiative has been rolled.

Turn order looks like:

Farmer 1&2
Krezlak, Dazak, and Ixen
Farmer 3,4&5
Gritt

Two of the farmers snatch up pitchforks leaning against their cottages and run towards the kobolds shouting at them.

On her action
Dazak calls fort a cloud of Eldritch Mist, ensuring there is a place for her fellow Kobolds to retreat to.
Then, taking a step to the side, she starts thinking about how best to attack.

Animal companions act on their master's turn, I assume?

"See. Pitchforks. It's all your fault." Gritt yells at Grime. The weasel's pitiful look deepens as it begins to whine. If weasels could make a sad puppy dog look, this would be it.

"Oh Shut up. Prove yourself and charge. Protect the tribe. I'll cover you. Fight to the bitter end for the tribe!"

On their turn, Grit and Grime team up to attack whichever farmer chooses them as a target. Gritt will use acrobatics to get into a flanking position.

If you want to give your rolls Gritt, I'll just take them into account when your turn comes around.

This applies to anyone; feel free to call your actions ahead of time for the round if you want and I'll resolve them when appropriate, or if the situation changes from someone else's actions allow you to change your decision.

I've updated my character tokens. I used red for HP and green for AC. Do you want any other stats posted?

On my turn:
Gritt Move - Acrobatics to flank closest Farmer: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Grime Movie - Moves into flank with Gritt

Gritt Attack - Spear: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Grime Attack - Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
