Glad to be in this one, looking forward to it.
I was wondering: How much of a role would real world citizenship play here? Should I go ahead and add where in the world Florentine stems for in my profile, or is that unlikely to be relevant?

It doesn't play a story-important world, but any bit of added fluff is appreciated.

Prologue posted. Go wild.

I'll try to get the rest of Florentine's equipment done as soon as I get a chance.
EDIT: Quote: don't stare a girls Gabriel...it's creepy If only he knew, hahaha.

Very cool to be here, and looking forward to gaming with everyone!

We're still waiting on one more arrival, right? Then we may begind the story. Might want to start thinking about where you want to start in the wide world of Golarion.

Hm. I'm not sure, should I make a separate alias for Mr. Whistle? Would that be helpful in clarifying when he's involved?
Male Human BloodRager/1 || AC 17, touch 12, FF 15, || Int +4 || HP 17/17 || Fort +6, reflex +2, will +1
I wouldn't bother with that personally, its a small thing that would just serve to fill up an aliase

Nice interjection Jingles.

Thanks, tin_man.
As for an alias for the familiar, probably doesn't need to happen. It's occasionally fun for particularly active "pet" types, but usually it isn't necessary.
Sorry. Busy day. Will get a post out when I'm home tonight!
?
No worries. This is just everyone getting to know one another.

I have to admit, I'm a little sad that nobody made a big deal of the fact I serve Death. Was hoping for major shock-age with that revelation.

I knew I made good choices with my ragtag bunch of misfits here. This just confirms it.

Janice: Give it some time to sink in. Up to now, to the other characters, it likely looks like roleplay or is dismissed as a moody form of grandstanding. It'll come up eventually.

Good point. Didn't think of it that way

Gabriel just doesn't believe you, that might change, but right now to him you're kinda weird

Between the talking bird, the giant wolf, and people casually teleporting across the street you have an uphill battle with regards to shock factor.
Don't worry though, I have plenty of freakout left in me.

Yeah, right now Jasper just thinks you're getting way into roleplaying. Thought about making a comment on Pharasma being the goddess's name, but you haven't mentioned the Mrs. Thanatos thing in his presence yet.

So... where are we headed?
Male Human BloodRager/1 || AC 17, touch 12, FF 15, || Int +4 || HP 17/17 || Fort +6, reflex +2, will +1
It would be my last choice, but ya can't go wrong with Absolom!, or maybe Riddleport...but then again we got a kid with us so that probably not a good idea,
I do not want to go to Razmiran, at least to have it be a starting point.
Is the worldwound still a problem, I'm just curious of the year!
Male TN Human _ HP: 9/12, AC: 14 _ T: 12 _ FF: 14 _ Perception +8 Initiative: +2, Fort +2_ Ref +2 _ Will +2 (+2 vs death, necromancy), CMB: +4, CMD: 18, Speed: 30
I could be down for worldwound. Unless someone gives me a good reason I don't see much need for wanderlust and adventure. The worldwound strikes me as a great shot for finding an interdimensional portal to take me home.
Numeria could also be a good bet. They're nerds, they may know something about something,
Male Human BloodRager/1 || AC 17, touch 12, FF 15, || Int +4 || HP 17/17 || Fort +6, reflex +2, will +1
The cypher mages in Riddleport could be a good bet as well...no one knows what the cypher gate is really for
I like the idea of starting somewhere spooky. Like Nidal or Ustalav. I'm also partial to anything in Orision, but I'm a sucker for Egyptian everythings.
Female Human/Drow Death Mage 1 | HP [9/9] | AC 16, FF 13, T 13 | Fort +0, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +3 | Perception +8
I like the idea of starting somewhere in either Osirion or Numeria. Never been there in any of the games I've played so it would be fun.

Osirion's fine with me.

Huh, I hadn't even thought about Osirion, but it'd certainly be interesting. Taran was going to suggest Varisia since it seems like the basic starting point for a lot of adventures, and so it'd be a good place for a mix of opportunities. But I didn't actually want to start there.
Osirion should be a fun time.
Eh heh heh heh heh...
I'm so good at ideas.
?
So, have we all decided yet? Also, keep in mind surrounding areas while choosing. Might have to traverse them as well :)
Male Human BloodRager/1 || AC 17, touch 12, FF 15, || Int +4 || HP 17/17 || Fort +6, reflex +2, will +1
I think the general consensus is Osirion or Numeria
?
Artemiy Sewick | Russian
Actually, between them I'd vote Numeria, if only for more bountiful adventure opportunities in general. Osirion would definitely be interesting and different from a lot of adventures, but Numeria offers more chances to strike out from there, I'd guess. Not only is there the adventure provided by weird tech from space and stuff, but we're bordering the Worldwound and Mendev, Ustalav, and the River Kingdoms, along with Brevoy. Plenty to do all over the place.

Numeria works. No problems here.

So, Numeria, then. Got it. Let's see if I can't find a CR1 appropriate encounter there. If not, you seem like the capable sort. I'm sure most of you will survive :)

We've already come to agreement in OOC so someone should step up and drag the rest of us into the teleporter.
?
I second that motion. I got plans in mechanical places.

GM, I hope you don't object to Mr. Whistle reciting from the SRD. I figured that might be an interesting twist. (And a convenient tool to have in-character for the party.)

I may or may not have mentioned it, but tin_man doesn't even know how to open a menu. He's not really game savvy, he's just a man with knowledge of high explosives and whose been of his meds for about three days now.

Oof... I hate to do this, but...
I'm sorry guys, but I'm going to have to step down from the game.
I've bit off a little more than I can chew, games-wise, with life getting a little busier than I'm expected.
On top of that, the game just isn't 'clicking' for me. It's an original twist, and I thought I'd enjoy it, but I find myself just... blanking.
It wouldn't be fair to you guys to have me just sort of slogging along dragging everyone down.
I'm sorry, Jaster, I know you were pretty excited about my character idea.
I hope you guys have a good time.
?
Hate to see you go, Florentine, but I understand being overwhelmed with irl enough that you don't even want to think about playing.
What do you want me to do for your character? Should she just disappear without a trace, or should there be an in-story reason.
As for the rest of you guys, should we keep the game at this number, or should we try and pick out another player from our recruitment thread?
