Djal
Djal manages not to scream in fear as he takes in the sight of the horrific creatures ready to feats on them, or worse. He stumbles for his crossbow and shoots a bolt at the same one Theodor light up with flames.
"Hurry up! There's- There's a lot of them!"
Crossbow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 91d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Round 1
Dexterity saving throw, Goblin 1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
The goblin scuttles away from Brother Theodor's sacred flame, which burns away a patch of the webbing where the Titanspawn was standing.
A burning mark appears on the Raidmaster's chest, which Zukhan promptly strikes with an arrow. The blow elicits a great yowl from the mounted goblin and a stream of gibberish in Titan Speech and Ledean.
Djal's shot is rushed, the bolt sailing past the nimble Titanspawn and into the darkness.
The mounted goblin rushes for Zukhan, howling for blood! The great wolf spider beneath him scurries beneath the webs only to reemerge beside the Redeemed assathi, its rider swiping at the ranger with two of its claws.
The Raidmaster slashes Zukhan's arms with his claws, drawing blood. He can feel a tingle as the Titanspawn's poison enters his bloodstream.
Z's poison save with advantage: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
The poison stings a bit, but the ranger's natural resistance reduces it to a mere annoyance.
4 damage total to Zukhan- 3 slashing, 1 poison
His attack having drawn some blood, the Raidmaster dives from his mount and quickly scurries deeper into the Chasm again.
Raidmaster disengages as a bonus action, leaving his mount.
The remaining four throw their darts and close into melee!
A dart clangs against Brother Theodor's scale armor, followed by the sting of a second piercing his leg. Djal sidesteps the missile lobbed at him, while Zukhan's armor takes the brunt of the attack against him.
3 piercing damage to Brother Theodor.
The twisted goblinoids close in, clawed hands and wide mouths ready.
Two spidereye goblins are in melee with Theo, one is in melee with Djal and Zukhan is in melee with the giant wolf spider and one additional goblin.
Unchained, Lhienne and Iliberos are up! You guys are thirty feet above- a double move and two checks will get you into melee or you can make ranged attacks from where you are.
Lhienne
Assuming that she can, Lhienne will fire her sling at one that she can see. If there's an appropriate way to use Cunning Action to hide first will do so (seems reasonable in webs, but DM's call. Hide: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 221d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 dmg: 1d4 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (5) = 10 Ignore extra dice if not relevant.
Warden of Doors
Round One concluded.
Hiding behind the thick webs around her, Lhienne takes the spidereye goblin below by surprise, a sling stone smacking it in the temple! The Titanspawn barely has time to register what just hit it before The Unchained's javelin runs it through.
One goblin down, I'll let you decide who it was attacking in melee- Theo, Djal or Zukhan.
Iliberos chants a spell, creating a ghostly skeletal hand that reaches out for the giant spider.
I's spell attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 261d8 ⇒ 3
It's super effective!
The spider chitters in distress as the ice cold hand grips its throat, clinging there. 6 damage to the giant wolf spider.

Round Two
1st- Djal, Theo, Zukhan
2nd- Spidereye Goblins, Giant Spider
3rd- Lhienne, The Unchained, Iliberos
Djal cuts a jab at the Titanspawn attacking him, but he's far more used to performance than true combat. The goblin dodges aside, rearing up to counter attack with its multiple arms!
Hampered by the ungainly webs around him, Brother Theodor just misses the slippery titanspawn attacking him. It whistles and chitters, taunting him in its polyglot language.
I'll give Zukhan a little time to post.
Zukhan Ssalaras
Got it! Kinda figured.
Zukhan swaps his bow for his Scimitar and with the rider fleeing, he goes after it's mount.
Scimitar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Round Two continued
Zukhan slashes madly at the giant spider, but the arachnid nimbly avoids his blades before biting at the Asaathi in retaliation.
But the ranger anticipated it's bite, blocking the attack with his gauntlet.
The remaining three spidereye goblins attack the heroes, claws and fangs at bared.
D: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 61d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Z: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Fortunately, Brother Theodor and Djal easily dodge the goblin's fumbling attacks. While Zukhan is harried by the giant wolf spider, the goblin attacking him manages to slip past his defenses and slash the Asaathi's back.
Zukhan is clawed for 3 points of slashing damage.
Back to Lhienne, The Unchained and Iliberos 30 feet above.
Lhienne
Does it seem remotely feasable to strategically cut through some webbing, use it as a rope to swing down and kick one of the goblins off? If not Lhienne will just shoot one of them again.
Lhienne
Well, acrobatics should be doable... Athletics maybe?
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Athletics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Alright then, looking good
With a manic grin on her face Lhienne grabs a strand of web hanging seperate from the rest "See you down there" she calls to Unchained, followed by a mutter of this "This is about the most stupid thing I've done out of a long list of stupid things", she slices through the web and swings down...
Zukhan Ssalaras
Just realized that I should be making concentration rolls for my Hunters Mark spell when I take damage
DC is 10 or damage taken whichever is higher, so 10 in both cases.
Concentration: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Concentration: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Lol, double ones. Well alright then. Hunters Mark is gone.
Warden of Doors
Motion seconded, Lhienne gets an inspiration!
The halfling lass severs a long strand of webbing and swings herself directly at the spidereye goblin attacking Djal! The Titanspawn turns toward her just in time to catch both of her boots in its face, sending it flying into the darkness beneath the party!
Lhienne lands in the webs next to her comrades, smoothly drawing her rapier, the expression on her face saying, "Who's next?"
The Unchained
attack with javelin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
The Unchained repeats his ranged attack, but not with the same success.
Can I thereafter use the 20 athletics roll i made earlier to move down?
Warden of Doors
The Unchained's javelin flies off into the darkness and he adroitly begins the climb down toward his comrades.
Iliberos fires his bow at the wolf spider beneath him.
Longbow + bardic inspiration: 1d20 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (14) + 3 + (3) = 20
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
The Forsaken Elf's arrow pierces the giant spider's thorax, its legs buckling under the pain of the attack.
Round Three
One spidereye goblin on Zukhan and Brother Theo each, the giant (wounded) spider is on Zukhan.
Djal, Brother Theodor and Zukhan are up!
Zukhan Ssalaras
Zukhan tries to keep the giant wolf spider at bay with a flurry of attacks.
Scimitar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
The spider probably isn't a Titan Spawn, right? If so, add 2 to the damage on any hits.
Warden of Doors
Round Three
Zukhan and Djal stab the great wolf spider, hacking it apart before it can retreat and be a problem later.
The spidereye goblin attacking Brother Theodor dodges under his jab, backing out of his spear's reach. The goblin and its remaining comrade scurry away into the darkness- after a few seconds, all sound of their passing is gone.
The remaining goblins disengage and flee deeper into the Chasm. Combat over!
Zukhan Ssalaras
"That was an unwelcome visit! Was anyone hurt?"
Zukhan eyes his wounds and shrugs. "The spider took some of my scales with it to the afterlife, but nothing too serious."
Iliberos Kuskyn
Iliberos cracks his neck and slings his bow over his shoulder, "Let's hope that the entire way down is not like that".
Using the climbing kit, Iliberos heads down to the next "station" with his allies.
Warden of Doors
Athletics (Unchained): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Athletics (Iliberos): 1d20 ⇒ 71d20 ⇒ 1
The Unchained joins the rest of the party in the webs at 90 feet from the surface. While Iliberos begins climbing down using the climbing kit and rope, his hand slips and he hits a section of sparse webbing. The necromancer goes tumbling on the rope, until it snaps about 25 feet from the last anchor.
Iliberos is at 100 feet from the top, dangling by the rope.
From his spot dangling beneath the party, Iliberos can see something strange- the walls of the Chasm abruptly change from natural rock to a dull gray and barely glinting metallic surface. It seems to be entirely devoid of pock marks or handholds- even places to wedge a piton. And as he swung into it, Iliberos can attest that the surface is as hard as iron.
Iliberos Kuskyn
Iliberos curses in pain, "My friends, the walls of the Chasm down here are no longer natural rock but a dull gray and barely glinting metallic surface. It seems to be entirely devoid of pock marks or handholds even places to wedge a piton. The damned thing is hard to be sure.
That said, can uh someone pull me up?"
Can he get a sense of how much farther down the bottom is?
Lhienne
"That's worrying if we need to get back out again do we have enough rope to secure it and lower it the rest of the way?"
Lhienne is happy to help someone pull Iliberos up, but she lacks the mass or the strength to do it alone.
Warden of Doors
From what Iliberos was able to see, it's completely dark in the metal wall region. About thirty feet below, he's able to see that there's a nearly solid layer of webbing and salvaged wood built from the iron walls to the two columns in the center of the Chasm, with wooden shacks placed around the edge against the walls. The Chasm feels more constricted in the iron walled area, the walls closer than the rock above. The two columns seem to pierce the layer of webbing and wood, so you assume that the Chasm continues even deeper below- but you aren't sure how to get under it.
The Unchained easily pulls the dangling wizard up from below.
Iliberos Kuskyn
Iliberos gives the explanation of what he sees and nods to Brother Theodor, "I see no other way around that idea else our trip will be ended before it begins".
Iliberos Kuskyn
Iliberos steels himself for what may once more be a painful fall.

Warden of Doors
Sorry for the absence- holiday travel and time with my girlfriend's family made posting a bit tough. Hope everyone that observes had a good Christmas.
The party climbs down their knotted ropes, the chasm growing narrower as they descend. Through the thick webbing, you notice the glint of metal along the tightening walls; a metallic tang fills your nostrils and every sound seems to echo dully from below, as if from the inside of a church bell.
Just below, a network of roughly hewn logs and scavenged bits of wood radiates out from the stone columns, forming what can only be described as a tremendous platform filling the chasm below- although calling it a platform is perhaps generous. The wood is lashed together crudely with ropes spun from spider silk, and here and there pieces of wagons and other worked wood, small boulders, rope ladders, and sheets of spider webbing have been added in no particularly organized fashion to block the view and hinder access to the areas below.
You're finally on relatively solid ground! The two columns pierce this platform, so you could conclude that there is more to the chasm. Near the edge of the platform is a crude wooden structure- it's completely dark here, so your vision is limited by your light and darkvision.
Djal
"It is as though this chasm is without end... Perhaps it leads directly into Hell, or perhaps Heaven, depending who falls down?" muses Djal as he pulls out his rapier, ready to send more strangeness down to Hell...
"Let us have a look around then?" he offers, ad proceeds to further explore the strange platform.
