Let me add my thanks to those that have gone before, both to Gathrix and to the other players. I am thoroughly enjoying this adventure so far, and I am glad to hear that we are nearing the end of the first book and we are still going strong. Thank you all.
As for best RP, I think that Jerax gets my vote on that one as well as we saw some deeper character development happen with him.
For MVP, I cast my vote with Kirk. I think that his versatility and group buffing really shone this time.
As to hero points, do we only earn them through your award, Gathrix, or do we get the usual one per level gained and your awards are bonus?

I would like to thank our GM who has absolutely done a fantastic job. I would also like to thank everyone as well. Everyone is engaged and getting into their characters. Love it. But if I have to choose two:
Best RP: Jerax gets my vote. When we begin to see the deeper (lighter?) side everyone got involved. It was like a weird group hug.
MVP: Izrail. That speech floored me. Got us out of a potential riot situation. In fact, I seemed to remember a couple of situations where his words were invaluable. I don't think I could have done that.
Yes! I have been enjoying this very much! Even if you guys seem to be most active when I'm asleep! XD
My two are:
Best RP: Jerax. I enjoyed seeing more of his character's morals. (We have morals? Yes! Yes we do! We're Lawful after all)
MVP: Kirk, just Kirk. Bards man, they're always MVP! XD
I play with some dedicated players where I live, and their opinion of bards is that they are worthless; like they're only good for cover. Except the one time I played a bard to prove them wrong.
I will give another 24 hours for Alicia and Sister margaletta to vote. So far MVP is a close tie between Izrail and Kirk. Best RP so far is Jerax and Sister Margaletta.
Hero Points You will get one per level as the normal rules, + 1 gained for each criteria. Remember you can only have a max of 3 so use them! Make your character heroic when he/she needs to be!
Best Use of Heropoint Jerax I will give you that one. PbP has some inherent issues and ret coning is one of them. So I will try to advocate for the players when I can due to that unavoidable circumstance.

Hmm. There's also a lot of value in some of that stuff, though. The longsword is worth 4k gp, and the chain shirts 550.
Actually a good point. Trying to be fair but giving the money plus a nice piece of equipment when everyone else just gets the money doesn't really balance out.
It all tends to balance out in the end, in my experience. Some people get a boost early, and others get a boost later. But if you want I will put money back in the pot; it doesn't really matter to me.
Err, it doesn't balance well for characters who specialize in equipment. I ask mostly because I'll never be able to use magic armor or most magic weapons.
